It had been another week or so and everything had been perfect, up until this moment.
Yuji was out with her Mother, a little Mother daughter date while they truly caught up with each other, when a rude stranger barged into her, sending her to the ground very painfully.
Donghyuck's whole body jolted at the feeling and worry took over.
What happened? Yuji are you okay?
Answer me
Where are you Angel?
I'm fine Hyuck
No you're not fuck
Where are you
Yuji?
I'm coming, where are you
Shit Hyuck i think my ankle is broken
I don't think this bone is meant to look like this
I'm coming hold on
I'll be right there Angel
And he was actually there fairly quickly- he definitely sped but who actually cares- maybe the law.
Donghyuck quickly parked the car and rushed out of the drivers seat, his eyes landing on his soulmate on the floor clutching her ankle in pain as a Woman kneeled next to her.
"Yuji." He breathed out with a sigh of relief. He rushed over to her and sat besides her, worriedly examining her foot that had turned a shade of purple.
"Are you okay Angel?- shit we need to go to the ambulance."
Yuji's Mother watched in shock as Donghyuck didn't hesitate to support her daughter as he held her in his arms and carried her to the car.
"Hey you'll be okay, alright?" He said, buckling her seatbelt and pressing a kiss to her head.
He shut her car door and stopped as he came face to face with a woman who reflected his soulmate.
"Hi."" She spoke lovingly, smiling as she looked at the boy who absolutely loved her daughter. Donghyuck bowed in respect.
"Hello."
"I'm Donghyuck-"
"My ankle is throbbing can you hurry the fuck up!"

"We can talk later Darling, would you mind taking me with you though?"
"Yeah no problem."
☆
Donghyuck and Yuji's Mum both sat in the waiting room, actually Donghyuck had just bought drinks from the vending machine and handed one over to her.
"Thank you Darling." She said, taking a sip and eyeing the boy who's leg bounced up and down in worry.
"You're Yuji's soulmate hm?" She asked smiling and Donghyuck gulped and nodded. She also nodded in approval and sighed.
"My baby has really grown up."
"She's still a little baby though." Donghyuck laughed and his eyes crinkled up as he and her Mum both shared memories of Yuji as she probably was screaming in pain as they popped her bone into place.
"Do you treat her well?"
"Everyday."
"Do you, you know-"
"Oh I think Yuji is done with her checkup, one second." Donghyuck rushed out, standing up and walking towards where Yuji was having her checkup. Yuji's Mother chucked as she caught sight of the red hinting at his ears.
☆
"Hyuck im okay." Yuji whined as he picked her up once more, her legs wrapping around his waist to support herself as she looked down at the ugly cast on her foot.
She sighed and rested her cheek on his shoulder, watching as her Mother carried the crutches and trailed after them.
"I'll sign the papers, you guys sit in the car."
Donghyuck nodded and walked towards the exit of the hospital, Yuji pressing kisses to his cheek everytime her head involuntarily moved forward due to his walking.
"You're distracting me what if a car ran us over." He said, crossing the road and Yuji rolled her eyes.
"Shut up we won't get ran over."
She scoffed as they sat in the car.
Or will they? 😮

A Spirit Vein's Guide to Immortality
TL;DR Synopsis: Man dies from falling banana, gets interrogated but answers vaguely, suffers consequences Actual synopsis: Spirit veins. Many consider them to be the pillar on which the world of cultivation is built. These things served as the foundation for the first few realms that would allow humanity to achieve its everlasting dream of immortality. However, in the present age, these pockets of condensed energy only exist to be under the foundations of massive organizations, fostering a new generation of fighters while passively radiating the energy they contain. Nevertheless, spirit veins are still an important element in the world of cultivation, albeit much less so. With that in mind, have you ever considered what it would be like for someone to turn into a spirit vein? No? Well, Arthur never thought about it either. Going through the usual reincarnation schtick (if one could consider it usual), Arthur was eventually brought into a place where a god asked him where he would like to be reborn. Unsurprisingly, Arthur told the god his ideal rebirth. However, soon enough, he would come to realize that he should have been more specific with it. Now being reborn as the smallest spirit vein, or if you could even consider him a spirit vein, Arthur wondered what he could do other than wait for time to consume him…and that’s where the system came in. With it, he would experience multiple stories of hardships, adventure, romance, and action…all underground. Unless…? Do keep in mind that English is not my first language, so I would like to apologize in advance if there are any grammatical errors, typos, miscalculations and so on. In fact, I'd highly appreciate it if you tell me those mistakes. Also, this story focuses quite a lot on the gradual progression of the MC at the beginning, but in the long run, upgrading sprees would probably be more common. Thanks for reading this small note! Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
