Sun's POV
It had felt like forever since I left Lillie with Olivia at Akala Island. I had gone to the Aether Paradise with this Faba guy and Hau, and met some new people. I saw Dulse and Zossie's faces without their visors, I met this very nice woman named Wicke, as well as the Aether president, Lusamine. Lusamine seemed almost familiar, like Gladion. Why is that? Lusamine seemed nice, but something was off. I beat what's called an "Ultra Beast" in battle as well. It was white and had tentacles, with big floppy kind of thing around its head. It kind of reminded me of Lillie's hat, and it's tentacles almost looked like her hair... Weird. They also told us about a Pokemon called Necrozma. It sounded dangerous...
Anyway, they sent us by boat to Ula'Ula Island, which was the next stop on our island challenge. After arriving, I battled Hau, he gave me a Lycanium Z as a reward, and went to sleep at the Pokemon Center again. I was told in the morning to go to Malie Garden, which was right next to the Pokemon Center. Apparently I was to meet Professor Kukui there.
Kukui there talked to me and Hau for a bit, and he gave me an Incinium Z as well.
After leaving Malie Garden, I finally got to see Lillie again.
"Sun! It's been a while since I last saw you around." She said to me.
"Yeah, it has! It's nice to see a familiar face once in awhile." I said to her. She smiled. It seems like she was happy that I was glad to see her.
"I'm glad I ran into you... I was actually wondering... Wh-what did you think of her? The president of the Aether Foundation, I mean." Lillie said, looking distressed about something.
Why would she ask about her? How does she even know about Lusamine...?
"She was nice, why?" I responded.
"Is...is that right? Of course. She must be nice. She's trying to protect Pokémon, isn't she?" Lillie looked even more distressed, not only that, a bit worried. She never answered me on why she was asking.
"Um, anyway... What I really wanted to ask about was..."
"You want to go to the ruins?" I cut in
"Yes. I want to take Nebby to visit Ula'Ula's ruins, but they are located deep in a large desert. I don't want to ask that much of you." She said. I would've said yes either way.
If... If it's with Lillie, I'll do anything for her.
"Right now, I'm planning to visit Malie Library. There's a book that I want to look for there. Maybe you'd even be willing to help me?" She said, looking up at me.
"Yes, I'll meet you there! I need to shop around first, though." I said. Lillie's face lit up the moment I agreed.
Why was she so distressed earlier? Maybe I'll ask her about it later... I want to help her outside of finding a book...
"I know that Malie Library is here within the city of Malie somewhere... Even I should be able to find it. I can do this!" Lillie said, looking determined.
"Mhm! Lillie, you can do this!" He cheeks got a little pink when I said that. So cute...
I waved goodbye and ran around a little bit. I restocked potions and Pokeballs, as well as getting some other items. After almost thirty minutes, I made it to the library, with Lillie sitting right outside of it.

"Sun... I'm sorry... I ended up getting lost, yet again..." She said, looking sad. I wanted to hug her, and tell her it's fine, and that she didn't have to be sorry at all. If anything, I could've helped her instead of leaving her by herself... I should be the one saying sorry...
"I wandered around completely lost until I ducked into the apparel shop... And then I saw this outfit, and they said it was the last one they had in stock, so I bought it... Even though I don't think I'd ever have the guts to wear an outfit like it... Hah..." She said, still looking sad, but then her face lit up a little bit.
"But the woman working at the store did tell me where to find the library! So I guess you could say it was all for the best. ...Though the library was actually right past the apparel store, if I'd just kept going." She said, looking down once more. I wanted to tell her everything was okay. I just didn't want to see her sad about it...
Just then a Mudsdale charged in next to us. It neighed, scaring Lillie. It was just Hapu and her Mudsdale. Hapu and Lillie greeted one another, and made some conversation. After they were done, we walked into the Library.
We walked to the second floor and met Acerola, a petite girl with purple hair and a ragged-looking dress. She told us to read the book on the table, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Lillie and I sat next to each other reading, and when we were done we looked up.
Looking up, we didn't realize how close we had gotten physically. We were so close, our lips could've touched each other and... Kissed...? I scooted away quickly and we both blushed a bit. I heard Acerola giggling.
"I can tell you lots of other old stories about Alola, too! You interested?" Acerola asked Lillie.
"Well...that would be wonderful! I would be delighted, if you did." Lillie replied. Lillie turned to look at me.
"I think I'll stay here... But I know why you've come to Ula'ula. You'll be undergoing another trial, won't you, Sun? Good luck with it. I read that Ula'ula Island's Electric-type trial can only be reached by the bus on Route 10."
"Yeah, I'll go! I hope you find what you're looking for, Lillie!" I smiled to her. I went to the stairs and waved goodbye to her. I ran out of the library to make my way to the bus stop for my Electric trial.
"Thank you for doing this for me, Acerola." I said to her.
"Oh, it's no problem! I work here, after all!" Acerola said, smiling to me.
"Now..." Acerola made a smug looking face. "Do you wanna tell me what just happened?"
"What just happened? What do you mean?" I asked in response.
"I mean you and Sun blushing when you got reeeaaalllyy close. It looked like you were about to kiss, hehe." She said, looking even more smug than before.
Me... And Sun... Kiss?
"It, It's n-nothing!" I said, flushed completely red.
"Hehehe, If you say so, princess..." She said, giggling a little more.
Nothing?! It's not nothing! Urgh, why me?
Acerola proceeded to answer all my questions, and tell me more stories of Alola's past, giving me the occasional grin when I wasn't looking at her. I hope Sun is doing well... Better than me, hopefully.
I proceeded to the bus stop next to town. From the looks of it it went all the way up the mountain. I beat a few Skull thugs and waited with Kukui for the bus.

After the bus ride, Kukui told me about having a Pokemon League, here in Alola. I battled Molayne, Kukui's friend who gave me a Steelium Z after I won against him.
I met Sophocles, who was the trial captain for the electric trial. I took on the trial, ready to face whatever electric foe that appeared.
It was tough, but I was able to beat the totem Pokemon, Vikavolt with Torracat, my partner. Torracat ended up evolving into an Incineroar in the process! I was able to use the Z Crystal Kukui gave me now. Incineroar seemed extremely strong, it was on a whole other level than Torracat. Perhaps too strong? The Professor then told me to head to Malie Garden again.
There I was met with Kukui confronting some Skull grunts. It was there I met their leader for the first time, Guzma.
Guzma was awfully strong, had a bad attitude as well. But I managed to beat him too. He didnt look too happy to be beat by someone who was at least a decade younger than him.
The Skull grunts ran away, along with Guzma. I handed Kukui a mask that Molayne gave me. He tried to act all nonchalant about it, but he didn't fool me. Maybe Hau, though.
Lillie walked in after we beat them, along with Acerola by her side.
"You and the professor fought those horrible Team Skull thugs, Sun? Just thinking about it makes me worry... They sound like a scary group..." Lillie said, looking worried.
"You think? I don't know. Exchanging a few moves in battle is the quickest way to get to know someone in my book." Kukui replied.
"They were no problem!" I smiled at Lillie. She looked a tiny bit relieved. The Professor then left, saying something about finishing up the Pokemon League. After Kukui left, we continued to talk.
"Sun, Hau... be sure you're not pushing yourself too hard." Lillie continued. Acerola nodded in agreement. Acerola then turned towards me.
"Sun! You made it through Sophocles's trial, huh? That's really great! You can take on the next trial up past Route 11. Through Tapu Village, you know?" Acerola said.
"Yep! I'll make my way there as quick as possible!" I nodded. Acerola smiled and looked at Lillie. She put on a super smug face when she turned to Lillie.
"Now, Lillie, you're coming with me to do some shopping!" Acerola said to Lillie. I heard Lillie laugh a little nervously. They walked away from us and out of Malie Garden. Lillie turned and waved before she exited, though.
"Looks like everyone's getting to hang out with Lillie, huh?" I heard Hau say, under his breath. I looked at him to see him looking down at the ground, kind of sad.
"Are you okay, Hau?" I asked him.
"Oh, no! It, it's nothing, really!" He said. He put on a fake smile.
If you say so... Hau and I have been through a lot together. He's like my best friend. We talk to each other about a lot of things as of recently. Except for Lillie. I... I think he may have feelings for her. I can't be sure though.
But, I do too. And I don't want that to get in the way of our friendship. It's probably best to just, not mention her.
"Well, I'm going to make my way to Tapu Village. I'm counting on seeing you there, Hau!" I said, walking off waving.
"You're always ahead of me, aren't you, Sun..." I thought I heard him mutter.
"What'd you say? I couldn't hear you!" I said, now at the exit of the garden.
"I said I'll see you there, Sun!" He said, fake smiling again. I nodded and left.
I'm pretty sure he said what I heard the first time. Hopefully he'll feel better next time we meet...
I was separated from Sun, once more. I wanted to stay with Sun more this time around. Every time we separate, I want him more and more.
What does he think of me? Does he actually like me back? I wonder
"Why did you drag me to shop with you, Acerola?" I turned to ask her.
"The shopping isn't for me, silly! It's for you!" She siad.
"For... Me?" I asked.
"Yep! You think you get Sun's attention with the same old dress over and over?" She said.
S-Sun's... Attention?
"I-I told you! It, It's not like that!" I said, blushing.
"Mhm, sure..." Acerola said, looking all smug again.
"A-And anyways! My mother picked this dress for me! There's nothing wrong with it!" I say, flustered still.
"It's not that there's anything wrong with it, but you should get some variety, just in case!" Acerola winked at me.
"I t-told you that it's n-not like that!" I said, getting more flustered.
"I didn't even say anything about Sun!" She giggled. I pouted and covered my face with my hat. Acerola laughed even more.
"Come on, lets go shop for clothes already, hehe." Acerola led me into the apparel shop, and looked around, dragging me along.
"Ooo, what do you think of this?" She said, holding up a two-piece swimsuit. The swimsuit had a similar design as my dress and hat, the three tear-drop looking cut out was on the swimsuit. It looked quite nice, actually.
"It, it's nice I guess..." I said, keeping a low voice.
"Do you think Sun will like it?" She said, grinning at me.
"D-Drop it already!" I say, Acerola laughs. We continued to look around for clothes for a while, her having me try on all different types of clothes. Finally we pick out a set that I like a lot. It was what looked like a short sleeved shirt, that had little drawstrings on the front. With it I wore a nice skirt, along with shoes with heels a little high up.
"What do you think?" Acerola asked, looking at the mirror with me.
"I think it looks really nice, but I don't think I'll ever actually wear it..." I said, remembering what happened when I wore something my mother didn't pick for me. She would scold me and yell at me to wear what she told me to wear... She would be upset until I changed back into the dress she would pick out for me. The dress I wear all the time.
"Pew!" I heard Nebby say behind me.
"Oh, you like my new clothes, Nebby?" I asked, crouching down.
"Pew! Pew!" It said back. I'll take that as a yes.
"They look great on you in my opinon, Lillie!" Acerola exclaimed.
"Hehe, thanks... I, I think I'll get them. The swimsuit as well." I said.
"I think Sun will think you look great in them as well, especially in that swimsuit, ehehehe!" Acerola giggled.
"I said drop it already!" I pouted, blushing. I put Nebby back in the bag, and went to the checkout to buy the clothes. I'll keep my dress on for now, though.
Maybe... Maybe Sun will like me more with my new clothes... Just the thought of him liking me makes me all giddy.
"Alright! Time to head to the Aether House!" Acerola said.
Aether? If I recall, Aether houses were for people to live in, and there weren't actually any workers installed there, so, I should be fine...
"I'm sure Sun will meet us there, hehe." She continued.
"Oh, stop it already!" I said, as we walked out of the shop. Outside, there was Hapu, standing there with her Mudsdale!
"Oh, hi there Lillie! What are you doing here? Buying new clothes, perhaps?" Hapu asked.
"Oh, um, yes. What are you doing?" I asked her.
"Just taking Mudsdale for a stroll, I just ran into Sun earlier, and helped him out with his ride pager. Speaking of which, can I talk to you for a moment, Lillie? Sorry Acerola, I may borrow Lillie for a while." Hapu said.
"Sure thing Hapu! Just bring her to the Aether House when you're done! I'll be on my way!" Acerola said. Acerola then left, leaving me by myself with Hapu.
"Lillie, I wanted to talk to you about Sun for a bit." Hapu said.
I just can't escape it!
"Lillie, I know your not on an island challenge, but can you make sure to look out for Sun?" Hapu said. Look out for him?
"Sun's a super strong trainer! But just because he's strong, doesn't mean he can do everything himself. You both seem to be together quite a bit, can I trust you to make sure Sun doesn't push himself too hard?"
"Um, yes, o-of course!" I say. Support Sun? Me? Does he even need my support?
"Thanks, Lillie! You guys are great together, anyway. I probably didn't even need to ask! You guys are like the perfect pair." Hapu said gleefully.
P-Perfect... Pair? My face got warm as I started to blush. Hapu turned and saw my face as we walked.
"Ohoho, sorry Lillie, I guess I shouldn't have said that. Don't worry. You don't have to tell me." Hapu said, giggling.
"I-It's not like that! I swear!" I said, desperately trying to cover my act.
"Uh huh, It's OK Lillie, I can tell just from your face." Hapu said, grinning
First Acerola, now Hapu? My life just doesn't get any easier... At least Hapu doesnt tease me about it...
