《Full Sun || Haechan》24

It was friday night but due to a strong rain storm, Haechan ended up getting stuck at my house till it cleared up. There was nothing much to do but eat snacks and watch movies the rest of the night.
"Promise me you went let anything come between us." Although it had been a few days since I was bullied because of Eunji's rumors, I couldn't help but feel that things were about to get a whole lot worst.
A confused expression set upon Haechan's face as he looked down at me with a mouthful of chips.
"Huh?" He barley managed to mumble.
My head which was resting on his lap seconds before was now face to face with him. "I said, promise me that you wont let anything come between us."
"Why are you suddenly asking me this?"
"Just promise me." I asked him again.
Haechan sighed deeply, quickly wrapping me in his arms. "I don't know why you are so worried but I promise that I wont let anything come between our relationship. You are the only girl I've ever l-" He paused for a second, his cheeks tinting a light red color upon his normally golden skin.
"I like you a lot Y/N and nothing is going to change that." He continued almost inaudibly.
I rested my head on his chest while he gently brushed his fingers through my hair.
"I don't know what I would do if I ever lost you." He kissed the top of my head. "I think I would go crazy."
I snuggled deeper into his warm embrace, my eyes feeling heavier by the second.
I don't know exactly when we fell asleep but I slowly woke up to the glare of sunlight seeping through the crack of the partly open curtain.

"Good morning." Haechan smiled.
"How long have you been awake for?" I asked him in a soft sleepy voice.
"Long enough to hear you fart in your sleep."
My eyes shot wide open while my cheeks burned of embarrassment.
"Ya! Lee Haechan!" I quickly got up and threw a pillow at him.
Haechan was too busy laughing to see my second pillow attack coming.
"Lee Haechan I swear if you don't stop laughin-"
I hadn't finished my warning when he grabbed my waist and pinned me down on the couch.
"What will you do?" He raised an eyebrow. "If I don't stop laughing what exactly will you do?"
"I-I-...."
He lightly chuckled knowing that he had won this time. Normally this would annoy me but this time his sexy smirk was driving me crazy.
"I forgot what I was going to do then but I know exactly what I want to do to you now." I confidently teased him before pulling his shirt collar down so his lips could meet mine.
Without a second thought, his hands gently caressed my waist as his sweet lips responded to the kiss. He traced small kisses along my jaw leading down to my neck.
"Lee Y/N what is going on here!" The sound of my Dad's deep voice boomed throughout the whole house. Haechan and I quickly parted only to see both my parents standing at the entrance of the living room. I don't know why they were home early, they were supposed to be in China for another week.
"Mom, Dad, I can explain."
Before I can say any other words the sting of my Mom's slap was burning my left cheek.
I fell to the floor, tears quickly forming in my eyes.

"Y/N!" I heard Haechan call out my name.
"Stay away from my daughter." My Mom raised her hand, this time to strike him.
"Leave him alone!" I yelled.
My mom quickly turned around and looked at me.
"How dare you bring a boy inside this house alone to perform sinful acts, especially this ungrateful son of the Lee's." My mom dramatically stumbled over and fell onto the couch.
"Mom we didn't do anything of that nature." I cried. "And Haechan is nothing like Mr. Lee lied to you all about. He is sweet, smart, caring....... and also my boyfriend." I admitted.
"Do hear this Minseok! Shes been brainwashed by the son of that dirty women."
Haechan and I instantly turned towards my mother.
Did she know who Haechan's mother was?
"That's enough Heewon!" My father raised his voice at my mother. "Leave us alone please."
He softened his voice and looked at Haechan. "Come with me son."
He motioned for Haechan to follow. I watched as the two of them disappeared into my fathers home office.
I waited anxiously as the minutes passed.
What is taking them so long?
I waited in silence listening to the sound of my own nervous heartbeat. Unlike my mother, my father seemed to be more calm about the situation. I don't know whether that was a good thing or a bad thing.
Finally after 30 minutes I heard the door to my fathers office click open. I quickly stood up when I saw Haechan close the door behind him.
"What did he say to you?" I ran up to him and grabbed his hand.
He didn't answer me. He didn't even look at me. I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces as he pushed right past me.
"Lee Haechan!" I raised my voice.
He ignored me as he reached for the front door.
"You promised." My voice cracked, tears forming in my eyes.
He froze in place.
"You promised me." I repeated myself.
I saw his hesitation but it didn't stop him. He was gone.
I furiously barged into my father's office.
"What did you tell him!" I yelled at him. "Why did he leave like that!"
"So he chose to leave..."
"What did you tell him!" I began to cry furiously.
"Listen sweetheart, one day you will understand but today is not that day. It is for the better."
"For the better?" I scoffed and took a deep breath in. "I hate you."
I heard my dad calling for me but I didn't listen. I ran up to my room and locked myself in.
