《The Make-Up Game. | larry stylinson》Saturday Night Party.

All five of the boys sat around the circle shaped table. The table sat opposite the window which displayed the dark outdoors. The diner was lit bright as usual, and the staff were the same as they were every Monday evening. Cheerful, but very tired.
Louis was sat between Ashton and Calum, Luke opposite with Michael to his left. They had been sat talking for around an hour, the food long gone. Louis felt extremely drained. He had no clue what was different today than any other day - he just knew that all he wanted was to go home and dive straight into bed.
He sat watching the other talk among themselves, just quietly observing the group of friends, when he felt Ashton lean down towards him. "It was about Harry, wasn't it?" At first he was confused. But then it clicked and he knew that Ashton was talking about the song in which he and Luke had preformed. He looked up at the hazel eyed boy with a small smile on his face. "You really like him that much?" He looked surprised.
Louis was glad that the other three were all too into their own conversation that they couldn't hear his. "Well.. We haven't spoke much really. I doubt he actually knows my name, but for what I've heard, he's a really nice person. And I guess I like nice people..?" He shrugged, "it's just a stupid crush s'all. But hey, I got a song out of it so how can I complain?" Ashton shook his head at Louis, chuckling quietly.
"Harry's actually having a party this weekend. Why don't you come along? I'm sure he wouldn't mind me inviting you. Me and the guys are going to be the band so you'll get to see a few more songs." He grinned. At first Louis was a little reluctant, saying that he wouldn't really know anyone their besides the boys and that he would just be standing alone whilst they preformed. However, Ashton happened to be very persuading, and Louis ended up agreeing.
-
The week at college went by slowly, Louis was sure it was because he was excited for the weekend. Classes seemed to last twice as long and he even found it difficult to sleep at night. It sounds pathetic, he knows. But he just keeps playing little scenarios in his mind on how he will approach Harry and it really is causing him trouble.
Eventually, Saturday does come along and Ashton is sat waiting in the living room whilst he does last minutes adjustments to his outfit. He had decided on wearing a long sleeved dark blue dress. It was the type of weather that even though the sun was out, the wind was still blowing so a dress with sleeves sounded like the best option. That way, he wouldn't be too hot, nor too cold. The dress also had pockets which were handy. On his feet were a pair of plain white Vans which matched his white and silver clutch bag.
He blinked once more, making sure to cover his lashes in the black mascara, before placing the cosmetic back into the rightful bag. He huffed, looking at himself in the bathroom mirror. He had gone for a simple look, nothing too over the top. His winged eyeliner being the most risky. He had a soft pink blush over his cheekbones, and a simple nude lip to compliment the darkness of his dress.
Walking into the living room he called, "I'm ready!" He smiled at Ashton when he stood from the sofa. Ashton was wearing a white tank top with multiple rips in it, along with black jeans and a pair of black boots to match.

"You look great." Ashton nodded walking towards him, not making it subtle at all, as he looked Louis up and down. Louis giggled, hitting Ashton's chest in a playful manor.
"Megan!" He called out to the girl who was sat in her room. "We're leaving!" He didn't wait for a reply before taking ahold of Ashton's arm and dragging them both out of the flat. "You promise he said that I could come, right?" He asked Ashton as he closed the door behind them.
"I'm positive. And for the record, he does know your name." Ashton certainly did not miss the blush and smile that appeared on Louis' face.
-
The two arrived at the party a little earlier than everyone else. Ashton claimed that it was because the band needed to sort a few things out. He was proved right when they walked in and Louis spotted Luke and Michael talking in the corner of the room. "Go get a drink or something, I have to go quickly talk to the guys." Ashton rubbed soothingly at Louis' back before walking away.
Louis nodded to himself, looking around the room before walking out into the hallway, trying to see if he could find the kitchen. He must admit, the house was pretty big. The hallway alone seemed to be bigger than his shared flat. Hung along the walls were multiple pictures. Some, Louis could point out were Harry right away. Others seemed to be of a girl who looked only like Harry, he assumed she was his sister.
He stopped in front of one. It was a family picture. All members of the photo were smiling, all seemingly happy. "I've always thought I'd looked ridiculous in that picture." Louis jumped when a deep voice sounded for behind him. He spun around. "The photographer got me right in the middle of my laugh." He smiled up towards Harry shyly. Harry looked down. "Hi."
"Uh, hey." Louis replied.
"Louis, right?" Louis nodded. "Ashton said he was bringing you along." He looked down to the boys outfit and Louis suddenly felt a little self-conscious. He folded his arms over his chest in attempt to hide himself. Harry noticed. He hesitated before speaking again calmly, "the colour really suits you." He smiled.
Louis watched as the taller of the two walked away. He really did not know what to do. That was how most of their conversations went. Louis would be awkward and Harry would do the talking before he walked away. And each time, Louis got a little angry at himself, knowing that it could have lasted longer if he just opened his damn mouth.
He sighed, turning and decided to carry on his way back to the kitchen. He collected himself a beer, along with one for Ashton before making his way back into the living room, which had now began to fill up with people.
He walked towards the stage, smiling at Ashton as he handed him over his drink. "Thanks." Ashton returned the smile, wrapping his arm around Louis' shoulders. "We'll be playing in about an hour. So you can just hang 'round here, or go socialise until then." He looked down to Louis, taking a sip of his drink.
"I think I'll stick here." Louis nodded.
Ashton laughed quietly. "Okay, would you just hold this a minute." He held out his cup. "I'm just gonna go to the toilet." Louis took the cup, nodding his head for the second time. He watched as Ashton disappeared into the crowd of people.

He looked around him, noticing that the rest of the band had now left and Louis was stood alone. He huffed, jumping a little when music began playing. Turning, Louis leant back against the wall. He placed the Ashton's cup and his bag on the small table that was beside him and looked out into the crowd, sipping on his drink. Out of the many people, the only person Louis could recognise was Harry.
He stood in the middle of the dance floor, alone with just a cup in his hand. People surrounded him, but nobody paid much attention and that confused Louis. How could no one pay attention to such a beautiful creation?
He watched as Harry threw his hands into the air as the base of the song kicked in. He watched as Harry began laughing as he spilt his drink over the floor. And he watched as Ashton appeared by his side.
"He always was a lightweight." Ashton chuckled. Louis looked up, smiling. "You should go dance with him." Ashton nodded his head to the direction of Harry. "He could do with some company, y'know."
Louis began shaking his head. "N-No! I can't do that." Ashton just laughed, picking up Louis' hands and pulled him away from the wall. "Ashton, please. I can't dance." Louis whined, trying his hardest to push his heels into the floor. He tried his hardest to escape Ashton's grip but nothing was working.
"C'mon, you're dressed for the occasion, can't let it go to waste whilst you stand in the corner all night. Get dancing. He won't bite I promise." It was than that Ashton let go of Louis' hands. He leant down, whispering into Louis' ear, "you'll do great." He gave a small encouraging push to Louis' back, edging him in the direction towards Harry.
Louis looked back to see Ashton giving him a thumbs up and walk away. "Fuck it." Louis sighed, walking closer to the drunken boy.
"Louis!" Harry's face lit up as he reached out his hands to the other boy. "Dance with me."
So he did, Harry gripped ahold of Louis' hips and it all happened so fast Louis had no clue what was really happening and how. The two danced together for what felt like hours but was only, really, a couple of songs. Louis figured that Harry was so drunk that he probably would not remember who he danced with.
Louis found himself relaxing a little half way through the dancing. His body began to flow easier with the music and he finally began to fit with Harry's rhythm. He pressed his back further into Harry's front and the sweaty people around them became no-one. Like they were in their own little world. Louis' arms found themselves reaching up and wrapping around Harry's neck as his head fell back against the taller boys chest. And Louis really wanted to know what was in that drink, because whatever it was, it hit him hard.
Ashton stood by the stage, watching Louis and Harry dance from afar. It surprised him how fast the two began to dance. He could tell that Louis now felt more comfortable and he knew that he could trust Louis in Harry's hands. Quite literally. Harry was always a good lad. Never meant to hurt nobody. He seemed to be the one ended up on the bad end of the stick, his heart always being shattered and taken advantage of. Ashton took a sip of his drink before sighing, he just hopes that, even if Louis isn't the one for him, he's the one for Harry.
-
It soon came time for the band to begin to play. Louis and Harry had non-stop been dancing and to be honest, Louis was having the time of his life. He was now kind of hoping that Harry will be able to remember this because he is putting in quite the effort.
"Hey everyone!" Luke's voice echoed through the living room space. "So, we're Five Seconds Of Summer..." A cheer from the crowd was heard. "And this is Green Light." The music began and people were either dancing or standing around, appreciating the live music.
Harry leant down to talk into Louis' ear. "Come with me." At first, when Harry grabbed ahold of his hand, Louis began to panic. He was never one for one-night-stands. He always thought they were gross and unhygienic. Plus, there was absolutely no need for them. Then again- he is not one to judge. But when he got pulled out of the crowded room and into the kitchen, he visibly relaxed. He looked to Harry who was grinning. "You are quite the dancer." His speech wasn't as slurred as Louis was expecting to be, but slurred nonetheless.
"Yeah." He laughed. "Didn't really know I had that in me." He looked back out into the hallway before looking back to Harry who was still watching him. "What?" He asked nervously, not liking the attention.
"Nothing." Harry leaned back so that his body was resting again the black kitchen side and his arms were crossed over his chest; a smirk still planted on his face. "Just wish I asked you to more of my party's. Could have experienced your dancing sooner." Louis bit on his bottom lip, looking towards the floor. Harry frowned, pushing on the surface to be closer to Louis. "Hey, don't be embarrassed. I mean it. You are really good."
Louis looked up at Harry and his breath hitched. He could smell the alcohol on the green-eyed-boys breath, that was how close they were. Harry licked his lips as he looked into Louis' eyes, switching from one to the other.
"I like it - how confident you are." He said, not breaking the eye contact. Louis' eyebrows furred. "You wear the clothes you wear.. And the make-up.. And you don't give two shits." He chuckled to himself and Louis smiled at the sound. "But I also like how shy you are around me." He paused and Louis felt the urge to look down but the lack of space between them made it difficult to move. "It's cute." Harry shrugged. His hands found their way to Louis hips and they moved around, so that they were resting on the small of his back.
Louis brought his arms up and rested them on Harry's chest, bunching up the fabric of his patterned shirt. Their eyes remained locked and the music coming from the living room seemed to fade. Louis wasn't really sure how to act, if he should lean in or not. But then Harry began to get closer and closer and it all just became a little too much.
Louis took a step back and Harry's hands fell from around his sides. "I-I'm sorry." He took another step back and he suddenly felt guilty when he saw the small pout on Harry's lips. "I-I..." He didn't really know what he was going to say, but before he could even process that, he found himself running out of the room.
He didn't bother looking back, nor did he bother going to the room where the band were playing to at least warn Ashton. Instead, he walked straight out of the front door. Leaving even his bag behind.

Your species has been judged as too violent for integration into the Galactic Conglomerate and thus the decision has been made to relegate you to a probationary period during which members of your species will be pitted against each other in games of lies and betrayal. Unfortunate, but the great thing about a probationary period is that it can end! How can we do that; you might be asking. Well, that's easy, if those participants can earn enough points through playing the games, they can potentially buy out your probationary time. Of course, other rewards will also be on offer for success in the games, and if none of your species chooses to be selfless, well then it just goes to show that you wouldn't have been a good fit for us anyway. All those on Earth unlucky enough to not be chosen to become part of one of the most popular shows on Galactic Television, fear not. We will be streaming the various games your race is participating in all across the world. Should we run out of participants, even with our most generous three life system, we will draw more from the population. Good Luck! Barry Buckman and the Interdimensional Beastiary
In the beginning of 2021 I did something possibly stupid, I hired a ghostwriting company to write one of the many ideas going on in my head since I was busy with my job. Unfortunately... They were not the greatest, after the first writer assigned to me left I was stuck with... We'll just call her 'Karen'. Karen didn't want to listen to my feedback on chapters, and turned what was supposed to be a long story about a young guy surviving on an island of supernatural and crazy stuff, and becoming stronger from it, was turned into a not so great romance novel.I plan on releasing another one, probably after this that will be Barry Buckman Redux, which will be me writing it out the way I originally envisioned it.
