I woke up and decided to wear a different dress today but still the same hairstyle but different ribbon for my hair. The ribbon will be yellow to match my dress. 

I went downstairs and helped mother with breakfast. "Hi Y/n so who's gonna be your date for Ball?" my father asked. "What Ball?" i asked. "The Ball every year. Where the kids dress up and dance." my father said. "Wait its today!" i said. "Yes. Did you forget." my mother said putting the food down. "I did." I said. "Good thing i didn't. I bought a dress for you but you can't see it until after school." my mom said. "ok mom." i said eating my food fast. I got my school supplies and ran to school. When i went inside the only one inside was Charlie Sloane. "Hi Charlie." I said while taking my seat. I decided to draw on my notebook. "Hey Y/n I was thinking if you maybe want to go to the ball with me?" he asked. Before i could answer i saw Gilbert come in. "I'll think about it." i said and he went back to his seat. Gilbert sat down in his seat and went to me. "What did Charlie say" he whispered. "He asked me if he wanted to go to the ball with him." i whispered. "Did you say no?" he asked quietly. "I need a date and i can't go with you because of Ruby."i said. Gilbert looked down and nodded. "You promise me that you're gonna ask Ruby to the ball." i said. "Yes." he said. Then he went back to his seat and more people arrived. When Ruby and Diana came we talked about the ball. "Diana who asked you to the ball?" I asked. "Moody did and i was sad for him so i said yes." Diana said. "You're so kind. Ruby who asked you?" I asked. "Umm He didn't ask me out. I asked him out." Ruby said. "What!?" Diana exclaimed. "Who is it!" I asked. "Jerry, Jerry Baynard." Ruby said. "What!" I said. "Are u serious."Diana said. "What he's cute. Anyways who asked u out Y/n?" Ruby asked. "Charlie Sloane." I said. "He's cute." Diana said. "Then who did Gilbert ask." Ruby asked. "I don't know." Diana said. Then Mr.Philips came. We all went to our seats. I looked at Anne and she seemed super quiet. School was done and me and Gilbert walked together. "So who did you ask out." I asked looking down while we were holding hands. "I asked Ruby but she said she already had a date and I asked every girl and they all had dates except one." Gilbert said. "Who?" I said looking up at him. "Anne." He said."Oh." i said looking down. "Is that ok with you?" he asked. "Yeah." i said. I let go of his hand. "So your going with Charlie." he said. "And your going with Anne." I said looking forward. We went our separate ways and Gilbert tried to kiss me but i walked away before he could. I tried hard not to cry. I went to my house and my mom ran to me and gave me a box. I looked at the dress and it was ..........
