had been quite a few days since Anne had left the classroom after smashing her slate over Gilbert's head, and Anastasia seemed a bit worried about her new friend. Even if she had hurt her closest friend, she still cared for the freckled girl. And Anastasia had continued their usual schedule, walking to and from school together without reliving a single word of the words they exchanged that very day.
"So, you're telling me you actually enjoy writing, Anastasia Riley? You have never told me this before." Anastasia giggled, smiling up at her rather tall friend.
"I prefer reading and writing over cleaning." Anastasia smiled, staring off into the vast fields of wheat.
"You're and interesting girl Anastasia." Gilbert smiled off into the fog.
"Oh, please, Gilbert. Just because I don't spend my spare time swooning over you and cleaning doesn't make me interesting." Anastasia scoffed, her books were held close to her chest, and a scarf hung loosely from her neck.
"Not all of the girls swoon over me." Anastasia shook her head, looking up to meet his gaze. She frowned a bit and tilted her head.
"Please, Gilbert. Every girl has a small crush on you. It's unbelievable." Anastasia giggled, stopping when he wrapped his hand around her wrist. She turned around rather quickly, her head was tilted slightly, and her eyebrows were furrowed.
"Every girl has a crush on me? And how do you have proof?" He questioned her, and she stuttered over her words for a few seconds, trying to figure out the correct words to say.
"Well, everyone says how dreamy you are, and how strong, and how kind, and how-" She was cut off by him releasing her wrist.
"I don't believe you." He commented, sticking his tongue out at her, she smiled and ran up to the front of him.

"Oh Gilbert, you are so dreamy." she mocked taking large steps backward to stay in front of him. He seemed to be thinking of something to say before it looks like an idea popped into his head.
"Hey, Ana, did you want to know something?" he questioned, and she slowly shook her head, but he wasn't going to take no for an answer, "Too bad, I will tell you anyway. Charlie never stops talking about you. To me! And I'm your best friend! Oh, Isn't she just so, pretty Gilbert!"
Anastasia giggled, turning her body around her she was now standing next to him. They smiled at each other, as they enjoyed their morning and afternoon chats. Anastasia was lucky to have such close friends.

, please, what does he say about me." Anastasia laughed, staring down at the ground. Her gaze lifted up towards the setting sun, as she and Gilbert had been sitting on a tree branch for quite some time.
"Do you see the way her hair glows in the sunlight, oh, and my personal favorite, she is perfect. She's like a caramel chocolate on Christmas."
Anastasia bust out laughing, holding onto the branch for support. Gilbert was smiling at the sun, but Anastasia's laugh died down rather quickly.
"You know, It's really great having a friend like you." She exclaimed, sighing as it was getting rather dark outside, and her mother would get concerned about her getting home so late.
"Hey, it's nice being your friend too, Anastasia."
"Well, I should get going, my mother will get worried if I'm not home." And with that, she jumped out of the branch, gathering her school supplies and basket, turning around a bidding her goodbyes before disappearing into the forest.

Ebony Chitin - Adventures of The Hive is a story centered around a Hive mind bug elf, and her favorite human-dwarf mutt Richard. The story will shift perspectives between the two, as well as other members of the Hive. Follow along on their adventures for; the friends they make, the enemies they slay, and the questions they seek to answer. Thank you for reading, as always. ^.^ Afterword: Hello there everyone, and welcome back those that have already read the first story. If you are new, don't worry too much about the first step of the series. Truly, this second part aims to cover most of what was done there. Those that have read it will know a few secrets and plot points before we see them. Though it shouldn't detract from your reading of this one. Honestly, the first one was a bit rough, but do as you will. I will warn that this will tackle some serious topics and might end up getting rather explicit in terms of what is done or seen by the characters. There is a bit to cover, so I'll explain what I can between chapters without overloading anyone, hopefully. -Cover Art drawn by Cozie [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

The Saga of Geir Røshjert
"His name will never be sung, son. Skalds and bards like me will never tell his stories to the mass. But only us and us alone will keep telling his story, his actions, his saga. For he is the man who started all of this." This is a story no man in Lumenter will ever hear, no man except for an Arnesen, for his stories are dull and generic to the ears of the masses, except for us, because he is the very reason why our people traveled this far east, why kingdoms in Erisgi fell and rose, why I... even existed in the first place. He is Geir, son of Arne, called 'the Stranger' by the people. But what he truly is, is a fiery red heart that beats inside every Eyklandian, Arnesen, and me. Bastard's Wrath
The Wyvern reared its humongous head, serpent neck coiling back, onyx scales of opulence shimmering in the dimness of the cloud smothered sky. It spoke, eye's ashen, like the surface of a star, "What is it you desire, boy?" The word's rolled from it's pointed maw, tongue flicking, it's deep and ferocious voice sending the ground below rumbling. Damien looked up, hair sodden with rain, his face battered beyond recognition, his lips curled into a snarl. He had gone past the point of being frightened; he was tired of his weakness. He spoke, voice wavering, mist floating from his mouth in the coldness: "I want them dead. I want everyone who stabbed me in the back; dead." The Wyvern smiled, rows of teeth exposed, "Then sacrifice it. Sacrifice your humanity." - The story of a bastard within a crippled family, who beyond all odds becomes known as the Greatest Swordsman to live: the one that, even the Gods, would someday fear.
