《Assimilation (Octane X Wattson)》Part 2

Path stood there for a second after he said this, then proceeded to open fire. My body shield took the brunt of the damage and then I took a few bullets to my thigh, Wattson shot at Path but he shot her in the shoulder Five times and she got knocked, then I shot Path in the chest a few times and he fell. Bloodhound's sensor radar filled the air around me with a red glow, I went to get Wattson up with the syringe we are given at the start of the match for one free revive.
Bloodhound ran into the room and opened fire, I popped my stim quickly and ran out of the room and around, grabbing him and throwing him to the floor, he then got his axe out, which he called Ravenbite, and tried to axe me. We started having a fist-Axe fight, I slid around him and punched him, he fell and got knocked. I got Wattson up.
'Squad One has been eliminated.'
'Squad Six has been eliminated,'
We looked at each other as Wattson used a phoenix kit, 'Gibraltar and Lifeline are the only other squad left,' She heard me and nodded, we had to move as the ring was closing in the middle of the hanger type building we were in, so we moved to the outskirts of the building, I heard Gibralatr laughing from inside and Lifeline telling him to shut up. I told Wattson to stay back and I would take Gibralatar, I stimmed and ran in, going up behind him and whispering. 'Didnt see me comin did ya? It's cool, they never do.' I said as I shot him in the chest Six times, he knocked and Lifeline turned around, opening fire on me.
I had to stim to get out of there, Wattson started speaking over our comms: 'I have a clear shot, you'll be fine.' She said as she shot and knocked Lifeline with her Sentinel.

'Squad Two has been eliminated, Octane and Wattson are your Apex Champions.' We looked at each other and Wattson skipped over, clapping. The dropship came and picked us up as the others started getting revived. Revenant looked at us, 'You have got better since Shadowfall. Don't let the victory get to your head.' He said this in a distinctly similar voice. Everyone looked at him.
'That was you?' Bangalore asked, infuriation taking over her normal, calm tone. He nodded and then sat down on the bench across from her, 'What? You legends needed to know what you were coming up against, and I went easy today, I could kill you all if I wanted to.' He said this and I shook. Gibraltar looked at me and I shrugged. 'Look mi amigo, we don't do this to make sure everyone stays dead. Some do it for fame, some do it for the rush, and some do it for fun.' I pushed this idea and everyone nodded except him. 'I am not like you. Or any of you, the closest one that's similar is the robot.' His grim tone made Path walk away with a Scared emoticon on his chest.
We sat down after giving up on Revenant, he was hiding something, Me and Wattson sat messing with her inteceptor, we were coming in to land at the headquarters, lines of fans on either side of the doors waiting for us all. Mirage was the first out, checking himself out in every photo that he could, which was classic Mirage.
Nothing interesting ever happened on the Red Carpet, just a bunch of fans taking photo's and trying to meet their favourites. I got inside about Ten minutes after we arrived and went into my living quarters, full of spare stim's and games consoles. I sat on my chair and slowly closed my eyes, imagining being straight back in the action.

I heard a knock on my door, minutes after I had sat down. 'Come in?' I questioned, wondering who it was, Natalie walked in and smiled at me, 'We are eating in about Five minutes.' She said happily, I never got her cheeriness, after being in the games, a lot of us couldn't stay very cheery due to either our pasts or our presents. She stayed cheery though, somehow. I smiled back and nodded, getting out of my games attire and into some shorts and a T-shirt, then following Nat to where everyone ate, we had a huge dining area which each legend sat at different places, however we all still sat and talked together.
We had some people cooking us some stuff, which we were alwasy grateful to the people who supplied us food, except Revenant, who never thanked anyone. We sat down and all started talking about the game today and strategies and what-not. I just stayed silent, until Makoa stood up. 'I would like to raise a toast, to the Game changing win from Wattson and Octane today. Although, next game, your going down little man.' He said, pointing at me and I laughed, 'If you can catch up,' and everyone laughed with me. We kept talking and soon enough it was time to call it a day, at least for a few of us.
Everyone but Me, Natalie, Mokoa and Ajay had gone to bed. We all sat, sipping on wine or beer depending on the preference. 'You Two got a very good win today,' Ajay chimed in, and Mokoa nodded. We sat talking about all the random stuff until Makoa and Ajay went. Then it was just Me and Natalie.
