《Seven Facts Of A Hunter》Chapter 24

"Quit sucking up and go get dressed." You laugh.
Kissing you affectionately, he wrapped his arms around your waist. Your arms instinctively cling tightly around his neck, your hands barely clasping around his neck due to his height. Pulling away, he chuckled playfully and place his forhead against yours.
"Your so short." He teased.
"Shut up." You frowned.
"It's cute."
Still frowning, you allow him to kiss you one last time. Luckily your dog decides on that moment to become protective and barks, destroying the moment Sam worked so hard to build. Laughing, you both lean down and pet him. Bear has always been really protective of you, so it was like having a k-9 officer team as your bodyguards.
The light shone through the window, creating a ray into the room. Bear ran into the light and curled into a ball under it, snuggling up to his favorite stuffed squirrel.
The dream began to fade like ripples in the water after a stone caused the affect. The warmth normally behind you was now gone, most likely becuase you liked to sleep late. This happened almost everytime you woke up, so why did you feel a small sense of loneliness? You shook your head as you got up, dismissing the thought as you slid out of bed. Too tired to change, you remained in Sams extremely large shirt and short shorts. Though you could barely see the shorts under the shirt which was reaching to mid-thigh.
Uncarring who saw, you exitted the room and walked toward the bathroom, only to find it locked, so you turned and entered the kitchen to find Sam sitting silently at the table with a cup of coffee and the local newspaper. He seemed oblivious to your presence, so you snuck up behind him. Before he could even react, you reached over his shoulder and took the paper.

"Whatcha reading?" You asked, turning on your heel and pretending to care.
Sam sighed loudly "I was reading the sports-" You turn with a giggle as you fold up the newspaper. "What's so funny?"
"Since when were you into sports?" You questioned, setting the paper on the table.
"Since Dean made a bet the the Giants would win." He scowled, grabbing the paper and opening it again "I was just about to check who won."
His eyes scan the page as you grab it again, this time he fights back, forcing it onto the table "I can't see why you two can't just get along."
He gives you a confused look and loosens his grip on the paper. "What do you mean get along? To be honest I think this is the best we've been in a while."
Taking the distractions opportunity, you slip the paper out of his grasp "I can't believe you fell for that." He whined for you to give it back as you walked away "Oh, and the Giants did win."
As you exit you gear a quiet 'damn it'. Throwing the paper in the trash on the way, you head back to your room to change. Dean greets you when you pass, you messing up his still wet hair and getting a groan in return. Returning to your shared room, you begin to get a slight headache, but ignore it and continue on. Arriving to your room, your head felt like it had been smashed in with a hammer. In an attempt to help yourself, you lay back on the bed. The room now seemed to spin around you as it grew dimmer.
Sam had not heard from you for almost an hour and was becoming concerned, you never took this long, not even in the shower. Following Sam, Dean walked down the maze of halls to his brothers room. Sam opened the door to see you passed out in the bed. He sighed, relieved you were okay, until he tried to wake you.

"Come on (Y/N), you just got up." He chuckled, walking over to you.
He shook your shoulder lightly, not causing even the slightest stir. His smile quickly turned to panic as he looked back at Dean before shaking you again, more harshly now.

I really need to come up with better endings... but don't worry it leads to some action (kind of...)

An Unwavering Craftsman
Given the hereditary nature of classes, everyone expects Damien—the child of two high-tiered adventurers—to be granted a high-tier combat class of his own. Expectations are betrayed, however, when Damien finds himself instead saddled with a crafting class of the lowest possible tier: [Neophyte Tailor]. Left practically crippled compared to those with better classes, Damien wants to avoid becoming a pawn in the machinations of the nobility, desiring only to grind his level in peace while wondering why the usual rules of inheritance were broken. Was it his desire to excel by his own effort, rather than an unearned blessing from a god? Did the Five take offence at his opinions on the unfairness of hereditary classes? Or maybe it was something to do with the alien voice that intruded on his ceremony? A voice that offers great power, and freedom from the tyranny of the Five, but that never names its price. This story is litRPG-lite. While the class someone possesses controls most of their lives, people don't get dinged at for every level they gain, nor can they see their status without undergoing a special ritual. The MC has no romantic interest. Crafting is merely a way to game the system, and doesn't feature heavily in the story, aside from a few descriptions on how they're carrying out the system abuse. There is, on one unfortunate occasion, maths. The pace is quick. This was a participant in the Spring 2022 writathon. (i.e. it was posted as-written at high speed. I may give it another editing pass in the future.)
