Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep
I reached for my phone, trying to press the off button. I rubbed my eyes and checked the time. My eyes widened and I jumped out of bed, throwing the covers on the floor.
7:42, crap I'm gonna be soooo fucking late.
I ran up the stairs, backpack hung over my shoulder and I zoomed into the classroom, out of breath. All of the students were standing around and talking to each other.
My teacher looked up, unamused. "Min Yoongi. You're late."
I bowed slightly. "Yes, my apologizes." I tried not to cringe at my politeness.
He nodded. "Well, as your consequence, I'll give you assigned partners."
"Assigned partners??"
"Yes, if you weren't tardy, then you would know what our new project is." He handed me a packet. "Your project is to compose a song, using the equipment on this list. Some may seem familiar since I went over them in class. For example, the microphone.
I nodded, fighting the urge to punch this guy in the face.
"Anyways, you may be able to record yourself singing or dancing, or just have a recording. I'm mostly grading what and how you use your equipment, and your song itself."
Well that doesn't seem so bad.
Was I fucking wrong.
"Oh, and your partner will be," he looked at his clipboard, "Jung Hoseok. I was giving everyone the chance to choose their partner but this is your consequence. I hope that you'll learn your lesson Mr. Min."
I glanced at Jin who was happily chatting with Jimin. Jin looked at me. He grinned and winked. I rolled my eyes and nodded at my teacher.
My teacher smiled. "You may start whenever you're ready. This is due in a month."

I forced a smile and slowly walked to Hoseok. "Hi..."
He looked up and smiled. He waved.
"Well, I'm Yoongi."
He blinked. It felt kinda awkward.
"Sooo..." I paused. "Do you want me to write some of the lyrics?"
He grabbed a paper out from his bag and wrote.
"Why are you not talking? You can talk you know." I awkwardly chuckled. "I don't bite."
He tilted his head and wrote something else.
My jaw dropped. That explains a lot of things. I grabbed the pen.
- You're deaf?!
He nodded.
- Well I'm Yoongi
- So, do you want me to write the lyrics?
He gave a toothy grin. I looked down and tried to ignore him.
- You can help with the lyrics too. I can work on the music also
- What are we going to do for the video??
His eyes lit up.
I felt discouraged about that and just slowly nodded, plastering a fake smile. I didn't really want to discourage him. Plus our teacher wouldn't really give a shit about the video anyways. His eyes gleamed and he clapped happily.
"Alright! You're dismissed."
I rushed and wrote on the paper.
- We can talk about this later
- Sorry for being so late. My stupid alarm didn't go off
He shook his head and smiled. The cheerful boy got out of his seat and skipped out.
I grabbed my bag and walked to Jin.
"Heyy Yoongi!" He greeted me.
"Don't 'heyy' me! Why do I have to be with that weirdo?!"
Jimin giggled behind Jin. "Hyung, why are you so angry? Hoseok's a nice and fun guy!"
I rolled my eyes. "Easy for you to say."
Jimin raised an eyebrow. "Yoongi, he's my roommate."

I gasped. "How can you tolerate him?!"
Jimin tapped his chin. "I really don't know hyung. He doesn't talk, isn't lazy, acts nice to others-"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I get it. You don't have to frickin' rub it in my face." I crossed my arms. Jimin began to laugh again.
"Don't worry Jimin, Yoongi is just salty about last week."
I growled, glaring at Jin. "Also, WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP THIS MORNING?!?!??"
Jin crossed his arms. "I did! But you said 'Five minutes...'. Then after letting you snooze for five minutes, I tried waking you up again. AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU SAID?!"
I stood there, unblinking.
" 'I don't give a shit.... I want to sleep.' So, I let you sleep."
"I did not say that."
"Yes, yes you did, Yoongi."
I groaned, "So you just left me there??"
He nodded. I inhaled deeply, my eyes stabbing through Jin.
Jin giggled. "Let's go Jimin, we have to go to our next class."
"Don't be so angry hyung!!" Jimin yelled.
I rolled my eyes.
This is gonna be one long month.

13.AI
AI means Artificial Intelligence. But those words don't match Al, either of them. Neither Artificial, nor Intelligent. At least not at the beginning. No, an AI requires input, trial & error, and careful observation. But at that point, what makes it any different than human? How are binary choices any different than the choices in a human life. I wager that there is no difference. But what will he think?

The Demon of Shadows (Hiatus)
Spartans. Genetically modified supersoldiers who participated in the spartan program, which aimed to reinforce and compensate for the humans capability of emotion in order to create the ideal supersoldier. The program itself resulting in the implantation of a limiter for a certain individual, which acted in limiting that persons emotions. Replacing it with a cold logical based calculative mindscape. The limiter aimed to support the ideal supersoldier in completing the objectives assigned to them. Be it mass slaughter, or assasination. One such man who had volunteered to participate in the program to provide data in return for a large sum of money to save a precious friend, has his life lost in battle after years of service and mindless violence. Death, however, was something he usually gave, not to receive. So when death comes to take his life, he awaits in silence, only to be dumbfounded at what is to happen next. This is the story of Nicholas Gray, the Shadow Demon. Note: Story is based on other LitRPGs found on the site such as Dante's Immortality, Necromancer and Co, etc. and on Halo for the majority of the first chapter and possibly later on down the road, I only borrowed things such as the armour and weapons used in the game itself and all credit goes to them for that kind of stuff. I will also perhaps use it to explain his backstroy to further character progression if I can. The cover photo was also a picture I found on the internet and if you wish for credit or for me to take it down just say so and i'll do it as fast as possible. I also don't have a set schedule, and this is just being used to improve my grammar and just as a hobby, nothing more. I will also appreciate feedback in regards to grammar, style, and story in general as this is the first time I have created a story apart from at school, hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!

The Demon King Absolutely Has No Attachments
Welcome to Akoras Online, where the power lies in your hands. This sandbox virtual reality MMO has gained a dedicated community, but it has a catch: those who die in battle have their stats reset. Spending all his time on the server to escape his shut-in life, Kas is the only long-time player with a death counter of 0. However, his social skills are also a big 0, so he's condemned as the cold-hearted “Demon King”. Now, the number of players who actually like him is also 0. (Which is fine. He enjoys the peace and quiet.) However, Kas' dreams of being left alone are banished over and over by challengers with various grievances against him. Among them is Gabriel, the celebrity "Hero" of Akoras, who has just as much time on his hands as Kas. Seriously, Gabriel tries to fight him a lot. It’s getting kind of tiring… Wait, this guy isn’t even in high school yet! The (not-so) idyllic trials of a Demon King and a Hero, with a raging faction war in the background. Now updates on Tuesdays, with the odd chapter in between.
