《Random x Reader one-shots》Eret, son of Eret x reader: it's been a minute since... part 2

Eret POV:
Y/n has spent another month here with us on Berk. She lives in the house next to mine, just like we did when we were little. She's running the dragon nursery, helping baby dragons hatch and feeding abandoned ones. And she really grew up to be a real lady. Her hair is always full and luscious, she moves with suck confidence, and honestly? I've liked her ever since we were five. Sure, that was just a kids crush, but looking at her now? I realize that I've always wondered what our future would be if she wasn't taken away. She's just grown to the woman I always knew she could be.
Y/N POV:
I'm feeding the newly hatched zippelbacks as Eret comes walking into the nursery.
-Hello Eret, I smile. He takes off his helmet and nods to me.
-How was the mission? I ask and turn to him.
-It was kind of messy. I ran through a mud bath to find the dragon trappers, he says and my eyebrows rise in surprise. He looked very clean to just have run through a mud bath.
-But I cleaned up easily afterwards, he says and laughs. I look at him. His cheek had a mud stain. I walk up to him and lick my thumb.
-What are you doing? He asks me and tries to move away. I grab his chin so he holds still, my eyes focused on the stain. He looks scared at me. I start to rub my thumb in the stain, hoping it would go away. And it did, very easily. When it's gone, I look into Eret's eyes. He stares heavily into my eyes, and his pupils dilate again. I rest my hand on his cheek and look back at his face. I study his features. He has aged very well. His bone structure was very defined and his hair was long and neatly tied back... his eyes, on the other hand, was the same kind of earthy brown as when we parted. The way he smiled made my knees weak... and I just now realize that I am infatuated with him.. everything about him...
-Hey Y/N! I hear, which makes our gazes part. Snotlout comes running in.
-I have a date in 10, do I look ok? He asks. I part from Eret and walk up to Snotlout.
-Hold on, I say and fix some of the stray hairs on his head. I pick my thumb again to rub away a jam stain on his chin and brush away some dirt off of his shoulder. Then I grasp his shoulders and look at him up and down.

-You're good to go, I say and smile. Snotlout nods before running away. I look back at Eret, who smiles at me.
-C'mon, it's dinner at my house tonight, I say and nudge d/n to follow me out. I know Eret and Skullcrusher does too as I hear their heavy footsteps behind me.
Well at home, me and Eret start cooking. The gang and Valka slowly makes their way inside as the food is almost finished.
-Wow Y/N! This smells amazing! Fishlegs compliments as I put the grilled fish onto the table.
-Thank you Fishlegs, I say and smile at him. As I walk away, I notice that Tuffnut is ready to dig in and reaches for a fish. I slap his hand and he pulls it away.
-Uh-Uh. You have to wait, I say as Eret helps me put out the side dishes, cutlery and plates.
When we all sit down, I look happily around my table. This was my family. My new family. It wasn't what I was expecting, but it's great none the less.
-Dig in! I say and everyone immediately dives into the food. Eret, who sits, conveniently, in front of me, smiles as he puts a fish onto his plate. He was absolutely perfect... and I wish I could tell him right now. It's such a perfect moment... But I can't. We've only actually known each other for a month... I'll give it time, maybe my crush will disappear.
Almost a year later:
I watch as d/n and the other dragons fly away into the sunset. I lean back onto Eret, and cry as I watch my best friend leave me.... well, my best dragon friend. Eret puts a hand on my shoulder for comfort.
-It's Alright... I'm here, he whispers in my ear. As the dragon become smaller and smaller, I turn around and hug Eret tightly. I sob onto his chest and he hugs me back.
I barely noticed that almost everyone had left, except for us, the gang and Valka.
As I stop crying, I pull away and look at Eret. He smiles sadly at me and rubs my shoulder. I look onto his face, and his cheek has a stain on it, again. I lick my thumb, as always, and pull his face closer to mine, and I rub the stain away. He stares into my eyes, and I stare into his. They glisten like the purest of diamonds as the last rays of sun hits them. His pupils dilate once again.Maybe this is the perfect time to tell him... no? Maybe? Maybe he likes me back? No, he wouldn't... would he? Maybe I should just ask... What could go wrong...? I ask myself.

-Eret... I say quietly. Almost too quiet to hear.
-Yeah...? Eret asks as I rest my hands on his cheeks.
-I... I like you... so much, I start and I can see a big smile form onto his lips.
-Ever since I came to Berk, you haven't treated me differently just because I was alive... you were still my best friend. But I like you... like really much, I say.
-So maybe, if you wanted, we could-hmph! I make a surprised nod as Eret crashes his lips on mine. When he pulls away, he smiles goofily and nods.
-Do you want to be my girlfriend? He asks quickly. He probably took my voice away with his soft lips when we parted, so I can only nod. He smiles and I pull him in for another kiss.
2 years later:
Eret and I have been married for a year soon. We always made dinner for the gang on thursdays and I took over the nursery again. For human babies this time. As I leave the nursery hut and arrive home, I see that Eret made me food. He hold a beautiful purple flower in his hands and he is washed and groomed. I smile as I greet him with a kiss.
-Hello darling, he says.
-Hi, I sigh and look up onto his head. Some of his hair was sticking out, so I start fixing it, but I get interrupted. Eret smiles softly and put my hand to my side again. He puts the purple flower in my hair. He rests his big hand on my chin and put our foreheads together.
-You look stunning tonight, he says. I giggle.
-Whats the special occasion? I ask.
-Can't a man just spoil his wife every once in a while? Eret jokes.
-Of course he can, I confirm and we share a kiss.
After dinner, Eret pulls me off of my seat and begins slowly dancing with me.
-Eret, there is no music, I laugh. He smiles down at me.
-I know. But I wanted to dance with you tonight, Eret says. I giggle and put my head on his shoulder. We dance in complete silence for a while.
-Y/N... I've been thinking, Eret says suddenly.
-mhmm? I ask softly.
-I've seen how you are with kids. And I think you're just amazing at what you do, Eret says. I process what he said... and start to realize what he's hinting at. So I lean back and look at him.
-What are you asking, Eret? I ask curiously. Was he really asking for it...?
-I'm asking... If you want to have a baby with me, he says and my world brightens up. I stop our slow swaying and hold his face in my hand.
-Eret... I say and he looks pleadingly at me. I smile brightly, and so does he.
-I would love to have your baby, I say.
Eret lets out a loud, happy laugh and spins me around before kissing me roughly.
-I love you... he says.
-Not as much as I love you, I say.
-Impossible, Eret says happily before slamming our lips together again.
9 months later:
I'm almost 8 months pregnant, and I'm watching Eret work (aka work out his muscles), and he's shirtless. Well, it isn't weird, since it's in the middle of July. Hiccup didn't let me work as fast as I got to the 5 month mark, so here I am, watching my husband work.
Eret notices me and smiles. He leaves whatever he was working on and walks towards me and smiles. He puts a hand on my swollen belly and kisses me sweetly.
-How're you? He asks, referring to me and the baby.
-Well, I'm alright. The little one seeks to be very excited for something, since he's been in there moving all day, I say and pet my belly as the baby pushes against my bladder. Eret chuckles and leans down to my tummy.
-Be nice to your mother. She's been carrying you around for 8 months, and she's got one more to go. Don't make her regret this, or you'll never get any siblings, he says and I playfully smack his arm. He laughs and kisses me.
-I love you, I say.
-Not as much as I love you, Eret says.
-Impossible.... I smile and put my hand onto his on my stomach. Our perfect little family...

An Extra-Ordinary Story about Ordinary People
In a different world, a different reality, where ordinary people occasionaly have extra-ordinary powers for no particular reason, we follow a number of characters, trying their best to live in this strange yet normal world. We have our first character, a currently nameless but sentinent creature who happened to find himself in the body of a strange fungus after an unknown incident that robbed him of not only his former body but of his memory, as well. Secondly, we follow Smith, a high-standing man who doesn't even need to explain which Smith he is, on top of the world, yet human enough to meet said fungus. And thirdly, we have another nameless character, who is burdened by the ability to summon things that he doesn't want. A charming gang, who will (most likely) meet at some point. --- All and all, it's a twist on the common super-hero world, where all super-heroes have somehow dissappeared, but not the possibility for new ones. The series that feature the mushroom-dude are the 123 ones, the stories that feature Smith are the ABC ones, and the ones that feature our newest character, the summoner-dude, are the abc ones. Neat, huh? Also, just a word of warning? The 123 ones are kind wierd, and you can skip the first few chapters and go straight to the ABC ones without missing too much. But I'd rather you didn't, since i really enjoyed writing them. In ABC and abc, the format changes to a more typical form, with proper grammar and stuff. So if you dont like the 123, I'd love it if you gave the ABC a chance :^) Anyhow, I hope you enjoy it!
