I woke up, feeling arms around my waist. I saw that it was alekay. I blushed, but then I relaxed and smiled. I started to pet his head and he purred in his sleep. I giggled quietly at the sound. Later we found out that he was doing the right of passage. But he thought it was a dance fight instead of a regular fight. So he lost, me, his parents and himself were banished from The Pride. Later we found out that the watering hole was dried up and that Alekay was volunteering to find out what happened. I didn't want to lose him again, so I was going to confess how I felt for him before he left. "Alekay! Alekay, wait!" I shouted, catching up to him. He noticed I was chasing after him so he stopped. "Listen before you go, I wanted to tell you something." I explained my reason for stopping him. He looked confused at first, then said that I could tell him. But instead of saying it I just kissed him on the lips as a way of saying that I loved him.

Alex's POV

I couldn't believe it. My own Crush was kissing me before I went off the Reserve. I wrapped my arms around her waist, and kissed her back. I guess that she loves me too. When we finally needed air, we stopped kissing and we looked into each other's eyes. "I'll be back, I promise." I said. "You better come back." Mia said. "I will." I said as I was walking away. I wasn't too far when I heard Mia scream. "I LOVE YOU ALEKAY!!!" Mia screamed. "I LOVE YOU TOO MIA!!!" I screamed back. I walked away, knowing that I had someone I loved, waiting for me.
