《NGỌZI ( Blessing)》INURED ( accustom to unpleasant events)

Three days after complaining bitterly to
my father, he called me in his chamber
and told me he would like me to go live with
his elderst sister (Ugochi Nana) who lived
alone ever since her husband died.
She was 60 years old and wasn't so heathy,
Her kids were all grown and married and
all lives in towns.
Her poor health conditions wasn't good with her
Loneliness and so i was asked to go live
with her and she was a very good person too;
"so i heard from people.
I obliged to my father's demand as i was
Already praying for redemption from my
Step-mother's evil ways.
I left my father's house to his sisters house
With high expectations and thanks to the
Heavens i wasn't disappointed. Auntie Ugochi
didn't just take very good care of me, she treated me so much love as if she had birthed me.
It wasn't too long that i grew fond of her and started seeing like the mother i never knew,
I took good care of her and always prayed to
Heavens that she could get better.
Weeks gone with her and her health was getting
even worse, what was a seemingly controllable diabetes and high blood pressure soon became worse
One morning i woke up to her not being able to
Come down from her bed, wait what? Yes exactly
What it's looking like, it's a stroke.
This hit me hard, very hard!
How was i going to cope with this new challenges?
How was i going to take care of a 60years old woman
all by myself?
So many thoughts crowded my mind, i felt like
running away, but then i wasn't going to be what
I condemned my step-mother of, I wasn't going
to return this woman goodness to me with

Wickedness.
She needs me more than ever, so i will stay
I said to myself.
Not so many people from the family knew how bad
The situation was and i didn't bother telling my father,
Because i knew he would ask me to return home but
then my mind was already made up.
Weeks gone and her condition kept on deteriorating
It seems as though my prayers weren't reaching heavens.
I bathed her, feed her, cleaned up her poo
as though i was dealing with a helpless newly
born baby, this wasn't an experience anyone
should go through not even my worse enemy. I muttered.
Weeks gone to another phase of misery and suffering in my life, till something happened.
One evening, i noticed she demanded for more
attention, which was kinda of unusual, she didn't
want me to leave her side. One minute she needed
Water, and the next minute she was feeling hot and needed air.
This sudden usually act of hers got me a-bit uncomfortable, but i managed to put myself together.
I succeeded in getting her to sleep while i laid down
on the floor close to her bed.
The night was a smooth one, i mean she didn't
wake me up in the middle of the night for her usual needs
another unusual act but i was so tired and didn't wish to wake her up, rather left her to sleep all night long.
Woke up early in the morning to check on her
and and clean her up too but to my biggest shock, she was dead.
The old woman gave up, i slept in the same room with a dead woman all through the night? Heavens!!
I immediately felt sick in my stomach and rushed out to vomit.
Fear took captive of me, i was shaking.
I didn't know what exactly to do, was i to cry out
for help or run?
I ran out to the neighbors house and alerted
them of what has happened, they all followed
me back to see the dead corpse with their own
eyes.
I was devastated and traumatized, the neighbors proceeded to inform my relatives of what happened and soonest the news of my aunt's dead soon spread all over the village and to my father's ears.

I recommend it! Welcome to LitRPG Michael-Scott. Glad you joined the fam!" - Aleron Kong, author of the Chaos Seeds series and The Father of American LitRPG “Lion's Quest is the type of book I'm always on the lookout for and rarely ever find. It's the beginning of a series I know I'm going to enjoy, with great writing and hints of deep in-game lore. The characters are fun, the plot is engaging, and I never know what is going to happen next. The action is fast, brutal and realistic. This is one of my favorite LitRPG stories in the entire genre.” - Blaise Corvin, author of Delvers LLC: Welcome to Ludus and Secret of the Old Ones “A great first foray into LitRPG. Blind As a Bat [1st book complete]
Book 1 He was cast to the edges of his clan. His father could not stand to even look at him. His baby sister probably didn't even know he was her brother... All because he, unlike all other vampire (The correct terminology will be Wanpyrkos; van-peer-coe-s) kind, was born blind. And what do all creatures do to those that are different, those that do not fit society, those that they think should not have been born to this civilized society...? [Book Cover Made by the wonderful THEMIDNIGHTECLIPSE13] - thank you! I'm only introducing the perspective of the main character for the first part. Things change drastically soon after that. [BDSM entries are clearly marked and written so they can be skipped without affecting the story] ***A couple scenes to whet your palate*** 1. "Uh, we heal from pretty much everything and anything. Have you ever tried physically damaging your eyes to see if they would fully heal?" "N-no. No, it doesn't work," I forced out, my voice a little strangled and cracking before hardening. "And stuff like that, isn't that just wrong?! Hurting someone just to 'fix' them." 2. I leaned and he met me, our soft lips touching and moving perfectly on each other's. I felt as his tongue ran the slit of my lips, my tongue coming to graze it as it passed over, knowing doing so was like catnip to him. He leaned closer, and I shivered as his hands ran from low on my hips and grazed along and up my ribs, pulling my chest closer to his so my body arched and rubbed against him. I hummed in appreciation. [warning: so far aggressive or physical bullying and maybe a little kidnappage and sexual themes as well as possible trigger warnings]
