Where worlds are separated from good souls to bad souls, But there's one soul who is fallen. A good soul but raised by bad souls
--------------
"Oh come on Taehyung don't be such a scaredy cat" Lilac exclaims pouting, "I wouldn't be if we weren't standing right in front of the border!" Taehyung says pointing at the giant wall
"Pfft- It's no big deal, Just climb up and tell me what's on the other side." Lilac pleads, Taehyung sighs "But if I get captured you're gonna turn to a bad soul" Taehyung says stern before climbing the huge wall despite him being scared of heights
Once he reached the top there was a lot of wind and it smelt better "Who are you?" A masculine voice asks, Taehyung jumps up standing, He sees a black haired male sitting down while looking at him
"Oh uh- My name's Taehyung...And you are?" He asks sitting down beside the male, "Jungkook...I'm guessing you're a good soul?" He asks humming, "Heh, Yeah! What about you." Taehyung asks
"Oh, Yeah I'm a bad soul, Not..Not really though, People usually make fun of me because I was originally supposed to be in um..Your world" Jungkook answers confessing
"Aw, I'm sorry for that." Taehyung held Jungkook's hand "But after all, Because you're raised in the other lands, Can't you step up for yourself?" He asks
"Er..Well yes, But I don't know...I just choose not to" He sighs, "Mmm...Maybe I can go their and stand up for yo-!" Taehyung exclaims "Taehyung quick! Come here, Someone's coming!" Lilac whisper yells enough for the 2 males to hear
"Oh! Sorry I gotta go" Taehyung mistakingly kissed Jungkook on the cheek and jumped down to hide with Lilac, Jungkook held his cheek before smiling softly, He seems...Cute...Maybe I can sneak him in then
The 2 friends giggled as they walked away "Soo~ It sounded like you were talking to someone, Did you find anyone there? And what did it look like!?" Lilac asks excited
"Okay Okay, The place looked pretty dark. Yes I did meet someone, They were pretty cute and handsome, Though they told me they are a good soul but raised bye bad souls" Taehyung explains

"Aw, That's sad.." Lilac pouts
---
It was lock down time, Taehyung secretly climbed up the wall hoping to see the male again, But he doesn't find him and pouts instead, He sits and fiddles until he hears a whisper
He looks down to see Jungkook smiling and waving at him, He signals him to come down, Taehyung was hesitating at first but jumps down with Jungkook catching him
"I didn't know you like to break rules." Jungkook jokes, "I didn't know you did either" Taehyung jokes knowing that since he's in a land where everyone is pretty mean, Obviously he's allowed to do what he wants
"Hmm, I'm gonna need you to wear this, I was expecting you to come today" Jungkook chuckles dropping Taehyung gently and handing him a black hoodie which was a bit too bit for him and some black pants, "Oh? Thanks! But where am I supposed to change?" Taehyung asks grabbing the clothing
"Umm..." Jungkook looks around "There's really no place...But I guess..I can– Cover you while you change" He answers a bit shy, "O-O-Oh.." Taehyung blushes from the idea "Okay..." He answers
They both go onto a corner "I can take off my shirt as a shield?" Jungkook suggests, "Um, Sure! That'd be lovely!" Taehyung awkwardly laughs, "Okay." Jungkook takes his shirt off showng his abs and biceps which makes Taehyung blush
"Let's hurry before someone comes here" Jungkook exclaims making the shirt cover Taehyung's body as he looked away awkwardly, Taehyung sighs and quickly changes into the clothes "Done?" Jungkook asks
"Mhm." Taehyung answers holding his clothes, "Erm...What am I supposed to do with these?" He asks while Jungkook puts his shirt on "Uh– We can throw it to the other side?" He suggests
Taehyung nods and throws his clothes to the other side "Let's go" Jungkook smiles leading Taehyung through his village
----
"Sorry if the house is a bit small, My parents prefer to not go flashy." Jungkook says opening the door for Taehyung, "Hm, It's no problem!" Taehyung reassured
"Jungkook? Where did you go, And who's that?" Seokjin, Jungkook's Dad asked, "Oh hey Dad, Uh...This is my friend, Tae...Taehyung! And I was wondering if he can stay with us for a while?" Jungkook explains, he knows the wall will be sealed for a couple of weeks, and since Taehyung came over he wouldn't be able to come back to his side

"Um..May I ask why?" Seokjin asks raising his eyebrows, Jungkook and Taehyung froze "He was kicked out his house because...uhm..." Jungkook looks at Taehyung for an excus
"I was kicked out of my house because I came out gay, sir!" Taehyung exclaimed as an excuse not even thinking about what he said, Jungkook raises an eye brow thinking it was just an excuse
"Ah, What a shame...Well of course then, you may stay with us..But, That would mean you have to sleep with Jungkook if you'd like, The guest room is well..Under construction" Seokjin smiles
"I'll– I'll sleep with Jungkook" Taehyung smiles "Thank you though for letting me stay here!" Taehyung bows, Jungkook leads Taehyung to his room earning a smirk from his father who contuined to read
Once the 2 reached the bedroom Jungkook plopped down on his bed with Taehyung giggling sitting beside the worn out male
"Your Dad seems nice" Taehyung complimented as Jungkook looked at him, "He is, My family is just good souls born in the badlands" He sighed
"Jungkook! You for-" Namjoon entered the room but stopped talking when he sees Taehyung, "Oh– I didn't know you had a friend over." He awkwardly smiles
"Oh! Da-Dad, What's up?" Jungkook asks awkwardly smiling, Taehyung was confused. "Well, You forgot your underwear in the bathroom, It had some holes in it...Do you want me to throw it away?" Namjoon asks showing it
"DAD!" Jungkook yells embarrassed as he gets up, runs and takes the underwear away from his father who chuckles, "My friend's here!!" He exclaims pouting, Namjoon laughs "Haha...Sorry son." He says walking away
"I learned how to sew stuff, Do you uhm.." Taehyung coughed "Would you like me to fix your...underwear...?" Taehyung asks looking down at his fingers
"Oh uh, No it's okay. The underwear just doesn't fit me" He awkwardly laughs throwing the underwear into the trash next to the bed, "Ah." Taehyung nods looking at the underwear "You like iron man?" He asks
Jungkook blushes from embarrassment "Heh..Yeah, I do." He awkwardly answers, "That's cool" Taehyung giggles
---
"Hey Jungkook– What do I wear?" Taehyung asks Jungkook who was on the bed sleeping, "Eh? Just go grab whatever in the...in the closet" Jungkook answers sleepily
Taehyung nods and shuffles to the closet to look for clothes to wear, He found nothing that would fit him and decides to ask Seokjin for some clothes that would fit
"Uh...Mr Jeon..?" Taehyung asks appearing on the stairs, Seokjin looks at him with a warm smile "Hm?~ Is something wrong dear?" He asks
"Uh no..I just have nothing to wear for sleep, I mean! I found a shirt to wear but the pants are a bit too tight for me, and I have a condition" Taehyung smiles shyly
"Ah! I see, I'll get Namjoon to get you a pair of pants" Seokjin smiles "NAMJOON GET THE CHILD A PAIR OF PANTS RIGHT NOW!" Seokjin yells making Taehyung jolt up from the sudden sound
Seokjin turned his head to face Taehyung "Just wait upstairs in Jungkook's room, He'll bring a pair of pants shorty" He said calm
"Th-Thanks..." Taehyung bows before running upstairs awkwardly
-
Taehyung stood in front of the bed awkwardly not knowing what to do, Was he just supposed to hop in the bed and act as if he's known Jungkook for so long?
He sighs and gets into bed suddenly feeling warmth, He smiles and soon starts to fall asleep
While in the middle of the night Taehyung seemed to be uncomfortable, Jungkook woke up from the shuffling and sees Taehyung pouting, He raises an eye brow and sees Taehyung needing to hug something but instead hugs the air
He frowns and gives his pillow to Taehyung for him to hug it
"Th..Thank you" Taehyung whispers still asleep

Odyssey of the Unrivalled
What do you do when you have it all? When you can do anything, go anwhere, know anything with less effort than stretching your fingers? When you feel jealous of any passer-by, just because they have something to do, somewhere to be? The answer was simple to him: erase your memories, seal your power and live a normal life. Still, something felt wrong. It just didn't feel... fulfilling. But then a magical formation appears in his office, and he and his co-workers get catapulted into another world. Profanity will be kept to a minimum, but will be included to keep realism. There will be some gore, vegans and animal activists alike beware. Will include some comedy, some meaningful conversation (I hope) and some things you will (hopefully) never expect in this genre. Hopefully quality will increase as it goes on. No schedule for chapters, but they will keep coming. Feedback welcome. View my other story at https://royalroadl.com/fiction/13168/fork-this-life

Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel (An Irreverent Fanfiction)
Fates Parallel is a gripping cultivation story, following the adventures of a half-spirit girl with nothing as she grows both as a cultivator and as a person after arriving at the Grand Academy of Spiritual, Martial and Arcane Arts. It features fleshed-out, believable characters, wonderful world-building that informs the course of the plot, and girls who hold hands. Fates Parallel is a very good story, and you should read it! Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek look at this same world from a different angle, following a totally regular girl who brings bad luck with her wherever she goes. It features shallow, joke-name characters, a focus on the least interesting parts of a fantastic world, and girls who hold hands (potentially). Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel is an amazingly hilarious (so says me) fanfiction and you should read it! (This is a Totally Author Approved Spin-Off (Fanfiction) for Fates Parallel, which you can find in a number of places including here on RoyalRoad! Please do read it!)

Part 1 - Killing Roar: When Perry was blessed with a platypus beast soul, he thought his chances of joining the village guard were over. No one had every heard of a platypus. It seemed like an obvious prey soul, given it wasn't in the village's records. Only the strongest could be part of the village guard. He thought that would never get the chance to defend the village from the spike feeders, the deadly creatures jutting out with hazardous spikes haphazardly all over. Only predator beast souls were given the requisite training and allowed to join the village guard. Perry just didn't meet their criteria. He was also wrong.Soon Perry will live out his wildest dreams and more, as he scales the rankings of beast soul mastery, fights innumerable dangerous spike feeders and solves mysteries related to the origin of beast souls and spike feeders. And maybe, just maybe, he'll even get to join the city guard. Genre-wise, Mortal Mewling is a GameLit story (light on the GameLit) focused on action and adventure. The Gore tag is there more as a precaution, rather than a promise to keep producing gory words. Mortal Mewling is a bit of a slow burn in terms of start, scale and capacity of the protagonist. Book 2... has now begun! Updates Monday and Thursday
