Out of all the people I could've gotten partnered with, I got him.
Mrs. Blackwell pulls me out of my thoughts and says, "You may go and discuss things with your partner."
no one moves or talks
"It's not a question; go talk to your partner," She says through gritted teeth.
Some students sigh while others stare, but they all listen.
A few minutes pass, and students are sitting beside one another in their conversations.
I look over at Leo and see him staring down at his phone.
Should I try to talk to him?
Should I do it on my own?
Nope definitely not doing that; I'll do my part but not his.
I go to reach for my pen and notebook and start to work on my part of it.
Out of the corner of my eye, I see Leo glaring at me with no emotion on his face what's so ever.
I look up at him, and we both stare into each other's eyes for a couple of seconds before I realize we probably look like idiots and look away.
He clears his throat and looks away too
"What are you doing," he asks, sounding irritated
"What does it look like I'm doing? I'm doing the project," I say, not looking at him and looking at my notebook.
"I can see that" I can tell he's annoyed by the sound of his voice
"Then why are you asking."
He grunts out, looks at me, and says, " it's a project we have to do together; just because I find you annoying dosent mean I'm gonna let you do it alone."
" I wasn't going to do it alone," I assure, Turning towards him

He looks at me, raising an eyebrow
" I never said that, " he says, no emotion in his voice
I sigh before lifting my hands off my desk into my lap "fine, if you want to work on the project together, come to my dorm tomorrow at 6."
A slight smirk appears on his face
"Your dorm?"
When I realize what he meant. I grunt out, " not for that, to work on the project."
"I was joking; I'm not stupid, you know"
"Totally," I lowly mutter under my breath, Turning away
"What?" he asks
The bell rings and takes me out of my misery
"Nothing," I replied, getting up from my seat.
Leo also gets up from his chair and says "so tomorrow at six right"
I nod yes and walk out of the classroom towards my next class.
After all my classes are finished, I finally get to my dorm
I walk in and see Vivienne and Blake already there.
I put my bag down on my chair and jump into my bed, and sprawl across it
"It's only my first day, and I already hate school."
"I agree school is shit," Vivienne answers
"At least it's Friday," Blake assures
"Oh, you guys, there's a party tonight at 8, you all wanna go," Vivienne says
"I don't know," Me and Blake reply at the same time
We both look at each other, then turn away
"Okay, just let me know if you guys have an answer," Vivienne reply's
Thinking about it a little, I realize It might be fun, so why not
"Okay, I'll go."
"I'll go too since Blair is, " Blake says, looking up at us from her phone
Vivienne smiles and screeches, At full volume.

"Where even is this party," I ask
"Oakwood house"

I get cut off by Blake

I nod yes
"Yeah, it is; Chase miller he lives there too, and he throws parties like every week."
"Oh, okay"
"Don't worry, it'll be fun" Vivienne cuts in
Blake and Vivienne go back to doing whatever they were doing before I walked in.
I'm now lost in my thoughts
What are we going to do at the party
Who's going to be there
Am I even invited
No, I need to stop overthinking, nothing will happen and plus it's only three, and the party starts at eight.
It's all going to be fine, I think.
