I hear a knock at the door. I quickly apply some more makeup, yet another knock lands on my door.
I walk over to it and pull it open "we're late" Leo walks into the dorm and sits on my bed, not sparing a glance at me.
"I'm getting ready" I turn away from him and look in the mirror to check if I need to touch up anything.
"God, can we just go" he groans out. His voice is much louder than usual, more aggravating than usual if that's even possible.
I set my mascara on my desk and grab my stuff. "fine," I turn around and stare him dead in the eyes.
"fucking finally" He looks up. His eyes stare into mine before looking over me and my dress.
I'm wearing a white satin slip dress, it has an inch of lace trimmings near my chest, and thanks to my 5'10 self, it reaches mid thigh.
It almost looks like a nightgown, believe it or not, I think it is, but I couldn't care less. If it looks good, it looks good.
"what?" I question.
He shakes his head and stands up "nothing, don't worry" his voice sounds persuasive.
He walks towards the doors and opens them. I walk out, and he follows.
He moves beside me, and we walk alongside each other.
We walk out the school doors "are we driving" I question.
"Nope, we're walking."
My eyes widen, "what, why"? Where are we even going? It better not be an hour's walk.
"calm down. It's a 10-minute walk" Leo
Exclaims. We turn down and street a couple of minutes later. Leo looks at me, his face having no emotion. What's so ever "are you excited?"
I keep my glancing forward, avoiding eye contact "excited but kinda scared."
his eyebrows furrow "why?"
I look at Leo. "I've never had my own birthday party," I say honestly.
Why did I say that?
"wait, what" his voice grows louder.
"I mean, I did, but they were always just excuses for my parents to invite their dumb friends and drink champagne" I look away, attempting to look anywhere else.
"I remember having those. They stopped once I came to Paramount, though. Thank god," he laughs, pressing his lips together.
I look down at them and then back at his face. He doesn't notice and keeps on looking straight ahead.
I look down and notice Leo wearing three rings. 2 on his left and one on his right. "I like your rings" I glance back up at him
He looks at me, a confused expression lingering on his face. He looks down at his hands and realizes what I'm talking about.
"oh, thanks," he laughs, and a cute smile appears on his face. He has a dimple. one singular dimple on the right side of his face.

I want dimples now.
"we're here," Leo coughs while looking away.
I look away from him and look at the building. We're in front of a big house with gates in front of it.
It wasn't too far from the school, maybe a 10-15 minute walk.
Leo walks up to the keypad and presses in some numbers "before we go, I have to tell you to make sure to act surprised."
I furrow my eyebrows "why."
He shakes his head. "Rowan told me to say that"
I smile "now it makes sense."
We walk up the driveway and towards the house. Leo knocks and opens the door.
the second we walk in, the lights turn on, and about 100 pop out from behind the corners
Rowan walks up to us and smiles "happy birthday Blair!"
he pulls me into a tight hug, basically suffocating me. "thank you" is all I manage to get out
He abruptly pulls away "go enjoy the party!" he says. No yells.
So that's exactly what I do.
I grab my 5th shot of the night and down it all in one sitting.
I'm not drunk. Yet.
I feel someone come up from behind me and tap my shoulder. I turn around and see the guy from art class. Lewis.
"Blair, hey," he smiles while bringing his red solo cup to his lips, taking a tiny sip.
"oh hey," I respond.
"I just wanted to say happy birthday" he smiles.
"thank you, lewis," I say, smiling
He smiles back and walks away. I grab another drink from the table. This time being beer and slowly sip it.
"you know lewis hart?" Blake questions while Rowan stands beside her.
"kind of, he's in my art class," I respond, taking another sip.
Blake looks directly at me "just be careful with him" her voice sounds genuine.
"what, why" i question. What the fuck?
"it's lewis hart. You always have to be careful with him" she grabs Rowan's drink from his hand and Drinks it.
"hey! What was that for" he exclaims?
"I needed to make it more dramatic," she shrugs.
Rowan smiles "okay, that makes sense" he pours himself a cup of apple juice from the table, and then he walks away, leaving Blake and me.
"wanna go dance" she questions, putting her hand out.
"of course" I put my hand in hers.
"Blair, get in the kitchen," I hear rowan yell.
I look at Blake, and she shrugs. We walk into the kitchen and see a bunch of people gathered there. Lewis, Vivienne, Luca, Rowan Blake, and a group of people I don't know.
"We got you a cake," He exclaims.
"Also, we are not going to sing you happy birthday because Luca," he points to Luca standing beside him, " said it was embarrassing."

I smile "it's fine rowan, Thank you for the cake."
He walks to the fridge and takes out the cake. He sets it down on the table and sticks 17 candles in it.
he lights them and then pushes them towards me "make a wish"
I slowly pull the cake towards me and blow out the candles.
Rowan smiles and pulls me into a hug "happy birthday Blair, I know I already said it, but I wanted to do it again."
I chuckle "thank you, Rowan."
Vivienne blake and Luca all wish me a happy birthday.
After all the people are done wishing me a happy birthday, I go back to the table to grab my 7th shot of the night.
I'm drunk.
Super drunk.
I honestly don't think I've ever been this drunk.
I walk into a different room and see lewis sitting on the couch.
It's very loud in this room. I'm not too fond of it.
I walk over to him "hey, Lewis," I smile.
he looks up at me "oh, hey Blair."
"I'm drunk," I laugh.
"i can tell"
"it's loud in here," I say
"It is," he smiles.
"Have a good night, lewis," I reply, walking away from him.
That was a weird conversation.
I brush it off and walk over to Vivienne "hey V!"
"are you drunk" Vivienne, or as I say, V laughs.
"a tiny bit," I laugh and bring out my hand to show her with my fingers.
"I'll be back in gonna go get another drink," I add.
"wait, no, Blair, don't," she says and try's to follow me but gets blocked by the crowd of people.
I don't listen and walk away from her.
I absolutely love this party. The people are great, everything about it is just great!
I push past the crowd of people and go to the drink table.
Half of the drinks are gone as I said, fabulous party!
I grab one of the non-alcoholic beverages, more specifically apple juice, and pour it into a cup.
I see Blair push through the crows of people and come up to the table. She looks drunk.
Very drunk.
"oh, Leo, there you are" she slurs her words and grabs a glass, and pours herself a shot.
I don't respond to her comment and quickly walk up to her to take the shot away. "What the fuck are you doing?"
"you're drunk," I say, my voice sounding low.
"I know."
"you're not drinking anymore" I shake my head.
"says who" she slurs her words again:
"says me."
"you can't tell me what to do," she says, trying to argue.
"you're drunk; you aren't thinking clearly right now," I say in pure honesty.
"yes, I am," she argues yet again and stumbles forward.
"I'm taking you back to the school," I say and walk towards her.
"no, you're not," she almost yells.
"Blair, you're drunk. Just let me take you back."
she stumpers forward yet again, "fine."
fucking finally.
I walk alongside Blair as we walk back to the school, ensuring she doesn't fall or stumble over.
She's holding the bottle of water I gave her, occasionally drinking it.
"you okay" I question sincerely.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she replies faintly
I look at Blair and see her looking forward. Her brown hair is cascading down her back. The moonlight shines onto her face showing the multiple tiny beauty marks around her face.
I've noticed those a lot.
She turns and looks at me, which makes me quickly look away.
We reached the school a few minutes later, yet it felt like hours.
We walk up to her dorm, and I wait for her to unlock it.
she looks at me, and I look at her "unlock it."
"I don't have the key," she laughs.
She's still drunk.
She also doesn't have her key.
That's just great!
"I guess we're going to my dorm," I bring out.
She doesn't respond. She just stares at me, dead in the eyes.
I shake my head and gently grab her hand to follow me.
We get to my dorm, I unlock it, and we walk in.
Blair sits on the bed and doesn't say a word while I walk to my closet to get her a shirt and a pair of sweat pants.
I turn back around and see Blair staring at her phone. a blank expression on her face "are you okay?" I ask
she looks up at me, her eyes wide "yeah."
I brush it off and hand her the clothes "uh, that's for you to change."
"thank you" she stands up, almost falls over in the process but Manages to catch herself.
She starts pulling the straps of her dress down, and I quickly turn around.
A couple of minutes later, I hear her get into the bed, and I know that it's okay to turn around.
She sits in the bed and watches me while I lay out a blanket on the floor with some pillows.
I shut off the lamp and lie on the floor.
"Goodnight," I whisper faintly.
"goodnight," she whispers.
