Have you ever had that feeling?

That out of body experience

It's dizziness, not vertigo,

It's giddiness,

Not really

It's the feeling of being separated,

Watching an instance of your existence, from a distance, yet being part of that occurrence

I know that's quite confusing,

But that's depersonalization

and it's mind-boggling.

Have you ever had that feeling?

Where you're trapped in your own body.

Sunken,

Cold and losing emotions

fighting,

You fight to regain control

The jadedness,

You catch yourself questioning,

The universe, eternity, consciousness.

Maybe you'll wake to find you're not yourself

Not the same person

But cursed with the same unhappiness

Have you ever had that feeling?

That lunacy is creeping up,

It's fading vivacity, unhinging sanity,

It's clarity

Not really

It's the feeling of being confused,

Crippling lucidity brewing consternation that the ridicule in the theories of apocalypse is coming through
