Me: Weeee, 600 (update: well 800 by the time this is published! We're slowly making progress!
Also me: Sees other "stories" with thousands of views and hundreds of comments and votes, "well shit".
Anyways I'm still grateful I made it anywhere past 100 views. Once again thanks to the people who view my story (it's nice that you take the time to read at least one chapter.), those who vote (helps with my motivation as well as shows other that this might be worth an actual read), comment (I just enjoy reading comments in general, plus it helps me get an idea of your opinions), and to those who add it to their library and reading lists (I'm glad you enjoy it enough to mark it as something you want to keep up with and for those who add it to their lists, it helps my story spread more), so thanks to all who do that.
Mikey's POV
I sat there. Staring at a wall. Planning my escape. Well what else could I do? I was tied up and so was everyone else. They had me, Eli, Amy, that random girl, Kane, and Bella. I could only hope that they didn't have Kiara, but that hope was not as strong as it used to be.
We were somewhere different. We were no longer at that cabin near camp but somewhere else. In another cabin, who knows how far from camp. I struggled more against my bonds hoping to loosen them. I stoped when I heard the door to what I assumed to be the basement open. It was the older man of the four. The father I had assumed as they all looked similar to a family. He walked past me and the rest of my friends until got to Bella, he stopped. Grabbing a knife he sliced the bonds off Bella, threw her over his shoulder and headed back up. I could only imagine what was going to happen to her.
Kiara's POV
I sat on the couch, my head on Simon's shoulder. I didn't want to be near the bastard but whatever drug they had been using really took effect on me this time. I had a terrible headache when I had woken up, I could barely even open my eyes. Luckily, the headache seemed to be fading by now. But my body and mind were still weak. From wha I could remember, after they had drugged me again, they took me, my friends, and Bella to another cabin further from camp. It made sense since the police were snooping about and being that close to camp could've been risky.

They took my friends down to the basement. Simon and his mother stayed up here with me while his sister and father went down to get my friends and Bella "settled", as they had put it. Not long after they came up, they had some kind of family meeting talking among one another. Deciding what to do with their "guests". Unfortunately, I wasn't able to catch the whole conversation.
After that, the father went back down to get something and the sister wandered off somewhere. So I was left with my head leaning on Simon who seemed quite invested in whatever he was doing on the laptop he held in his lap while him mother fussed over me and the wound on me cheek.
"My poor baby, did that mean girl hurt you? It's alright, we'll make sure to get that cut healed up soon"
It unnerved me that she referred to me as "her baby" as if I were her child. But I really didn't have the strength or courage to say anything about it.
I let out a bit of a yelp when I suddenly heard the sound of a door slam shut followed by loud screams and curses. It was Bella. She was screaming and fighting against the man's grasp as he carried her over to the living room. To my amazement as well as horror, the man walked like it was nothing. He held no emotions of anger or annoyance and he easily dodged all of her attempted attacks while carrying her with one arm. The only emotion I could really find was a hint of tiredness. It amazed me how he seemed to do this with so little effort, yet horrified me knowing that this was probably something he was used to, something he probably did a lot.
Without a word, Simon closed the laptop and stood up to go help his father tie down the girl. As much as I hated Bella the sight was disturbing. Seeing her in so much distress, switching from yelling profanities at the men to begging them for mercy. It especially hurt when she looked at me with pleading eyes. I hated her yes, but I couldn't stand to see her or anyone for that matter like this.
I felt a hand on my shoulder and back. The one on my back rubbed soothing circles as if to try to comfort me. The one on my shoulder held me with a soft yet firm grasp, pulling me slightly back into the couch, a silent warning telling me not to interfere.

As his father finished some final adjustments, Simon flopped back onto the couch. He wrapped his arm around me and gave me a sort of creepy smile. He knew what was coming. I knew what was coming. He would enjoy it, but I wouldn't.
My eyes widened and my heartbeat quickened when I saw what his sister had brought back. Some were recognizable, scissors, knives, pliers.... and some looked like medieval torture weapons. I attempted to force myself off the couch and run but Simon pulled me back.
"Don't you want to watch the show my love?", he purred sadistically.
"N-no, please-please, no.", I stammered
"Well too ba-"
"Simon, take her upstairs, your sister has agreed to watch her.", his father spoke.
Simon stood there with a shocked face.
"But dad-"
"Simon, it's not her time yet and I don't want her to see this. She's been traumatized enough for now.", his mother added.
"But mom, she's already seen what we do, she can han-"
"Enough! You know well that you were not supposed to kill that other girl especially not in front of Kiara. Let your sister take her upstairs.", his father demanded.
"....."
"Now!"
"Whatever." You heard Simon hiss under his breath as he stormed out of the living room. Delilah took you by the arm and guided you up the stairs and into one of the bedrooms.
"What are we going to do with that boy?", I heard his father sigh as we left the room.
Author's POV
Delilah dragged Kiara upstairs, rolling her eyes at her brother's behavior. She knew she was messed up, she knew her whole family was messed up but Simon... he was on a completely different level.
For whatever reason he had always been extremely possessive. However, that wasn't the worst of it. Even though they were killers they still acted like a normal family. They cared for and loved on another, even if it wasn't always visibly shown. She knew it bothered her parents the way Simon had treated this girl so far. Yes, they were sadistic, cruel, and unfeeling but typically not towards each other.
"Why- why do you kill people?"
Delilah tilted her head to look at the other girl, somewhat surprised that she decided to speak up. She shrugged her shoulders. She didn't really know, it was just something they did. She decided to change the subject a bit.
"So how's my brother treating you?"
Kiara tensed up. Should she answer the question? What would happen if his sister didn't like what she said?
"Relax, I know my brother can be a brat at times. I'm not going to rat you out or anything, not that he would listen to me."
"He's um well...."
"Possessive? Sadistic? A creep? Has anger issues?"
"Uh- kind of I guess.", Kiara murmured.
"That's not surprising. He's definitely got something wrong with him, well we all do but he's worse. We maybe be psychotic murders, but you're family too now, or well will be soon, he really shouldn't be treating you like that."
Kiara was surprised at Delilah's words. She really hadn't expected that kind of response.
"Anyways I should probably go find him. Make sure he hasn't done something stupid. You should be fine up here on your own, I don't think you would try to escape. Not that you could." Delilah said heading towards the door of the bedroom the two were currently in.
"Oh and Kiara. It would really be in yours and everyone else's best interests to keep him happy. Or at least don't piss him off. He may be like a baby throwing a tantrum, but remember he's still a killer capable of slitting your throat in a mere second. Just some advice."
A/N (again):
Yeah so here's the 12th chapter. I tried. I had writers black for so long but I'm at least somewhat content with how this chapter turned out. I feel a bit more confident with writing for the family. Didn't cringe as much here. Anyways yay! Almost to 1000 views and we have 30+ favorites already! So thank you to all her support this story, it means a lot to me!'
