Simon's Pov
I was waiting for her to arrive, like always. Violet — she had something that drew me towards her(well maybe because she like the same drink-Caffé Mocha-as me,yeah Probably!!).She comes to my cafe every Sunday and sits in table no.8,the one in the corner, near the window and brings a book with her—every Sunday.
The day when my heart beats fast (Yup!Every Sunday)
Today is a Sunday.
The day when I am able to see the beautiful smile and hear the beautiful voice that glazes my heart like doughnuts!(A/n:I am too cheesy!)
Someone cleared his throat behind me and I was brought out of my day dreaming, and I immediately knew who it was. I turned towards him,my bestfriend,Alec.
"Hey Simon! Busy thinking about your Violet again?" He asked,or probably stated, wiggling his eyebrows.I was about to say something when he cut me off saying,"I know right!Simon is so whipped!!" staring towards nothing – but to be specific, nothing means our store's door.
"I am NOT!Stop overthinking!"
"Keep on lying"he replied, rolling his eyes.
He rolled his eyes again when I said ,"I am not lying"
"Don't roll your eyes at me!"
He was going to say something, when the front door's bell rang and someone entered.I looked at the door hoping it was her,but it was a lady with a small girl.
"What can I get for you ma'am?" I asked politely.
"A cappuccino and a hot chocolate please!"
"Your order will be ready in 10 mins. Please take a seat."

She smiled at me and took a seat.
I told Alec to take care of the cashier section and stared making the hot chocolate when I heard someone saying ,"Mommy, can I take a lolly?".I turned towards the voice and saw the little girl staring at her mother with puppy eyes.
"Come here!" I told the girl and she looked at me and then her mother, and when her mother nodded, she rushed towards me.
"Will you gimme a lolly?" she asked me and I couldn't control the smile that was taking over my face.
"Sure I would give you a lolly, but you have to tell me your name first."
"My name is Rose."she said, smiling at me.
I smiled back and stood up and gave her two lollipops and the way her eyes stared shining made my heart warm.
"Thank you" the lady said and I smiled at her"No problem ,ma'am!".
Soon there were more customers but Violet was nowhere to be seen.
Maybe she was busy?or did she saw me staring at her and won't come here again because I am creepy?
"Hey! It's five already" Alec said. When I did not reply, he said,"She must be busy today! Don't worry." I nodded at him and did not say anything.
"How about you come with me?"
I glanced at him and saw that he was not joking.
"Are you serious? You are going for a date Alec.I don't want to be a third wheel"
He just shrugged and said,"You won't be a third wheel. Her friend is also coming with her. Maybe you will like her."And he was seriously wiggling his eyebrows?!Why am I his friend?
"No Alec,I don't want to"I said glaring at him,"But you should leave now,or else you will be late."

"Are you sure? I can cancel it if you want,I am sure she will be okay with it,and we could play some games."
"No,you should go.I am sure."I smiled at him.
Yeah! This is why we are friends.
Alec was a bit wierd(or very wierd),but he cared about everyone around him.We were neighbours since we were around two years old and I knew he was not kidding when he said that, but I had no want to ruin his date.
"Hey!I am leaving. Call me if you need me."Alec said."Okay!" I replied and he left.
After some time,I was about the close the shop and that was when I received a call from an unknown number.

Artemis
"Let them go, Dante." I whip my head to see a small boy standing the clearing with blonde hair and a green cloak hanging from shoulders. He isn't very tall however he holds his stance well. He doesn't seem to be more than Cassandra's age. Maybe 12 at most. I abruptly turn my head back hearing the man holding a sword to my throat chuckling with a sinister grin. "Oh, poor boy, what are you go to do about it?" The yellow teeth gleam as he begins stalking towards the boy who does not look the least bit fazed. I look around at the other men who are following the leader. I pull Cassandra tighter to my back as I take small steps back. I keep my eye trained on the men but also fear for the naive boy. "Do you really want to test me Dante?" He asks raising a single eyebrow. For a minute the men stop their movements. I see their hesitation for fear... Fear of what? I take the moment to stick Cassandra behind a nearby tree. She crouches down while I pull my sword out from its place. "How do you know my name?" The scoundrel raises his sword challenging towards the boy before taking a final step towards him. Then the unexpected happens. The young boy chuckles so darkly. It sounded almost... demonic. All the men instinctively raise their swords. "Oh Dante, I didn't know your name... but you know someone dear to me." "Spit it out boy!" The once grinning man is now looking around frantically. I continue my eyes scanning the small boy. He looks directly me and gives me a small nod before saying one word that caused all hell to breaks loose. "Artemis." Artemis is not an ordinary girl. She grew up in the wilderness after being shunned due to unique abilities and her different physical attributes. Blessed with an ability that scared others, she roams the wild with only her guarded one. That is until she stumbles into a situation that brings her in front of a prince.
