"Hey! I guess we should take a break. There are no customers right now." Alec said.

"Yeah Sure!" I replied and started making some coffee for both of us.

When I was making coffee,the bell of our cafe made a 'ding' sound,letting us know that someone had arrived .As I turned to greet the customer, my throat dried up and my heart beat became faster .

Standing in front of me was a beautiful girl, wearing a yellow summer dress,brown wavy hair falling on her shoulders and a stack of books in one hand.Her eyes were focused at one of the books. She looked so incredibly mesmerizing.

Then,at that moment,she looked up at me. I was confused. She had blue eyes,but that was not the thing that confused me. Her eyes looked familiar,like home.

I didn't speak, neither did she.No words came out of my mouth. I was too lost looking into her eyes,and as I looked properly I saw that her eyes looked like an ocean,radiating a cool warmth from her eyes.I don't know how long we stood there. It was like time froze around us and the only voice audible was the soft music playing in the background,like a music of two heartbeats together.

Alec cleared his throat behind us and we were sent back to reality. We both looked away from each other,but I did not miss the tiny of red in her cheeks, and I don't know why,but it made me happy.

I heard some soft laughs and when I looked back I saw Alec was talking with her.

"So what can I get for this beautiful girl?" Alec asked and she let out a small giggle and I felt something turn and tighten in my stomach.

She looked at the menu and said,"A caffé Mocha,please. And" she looked at the menu and said,"Chocolate Doughnuts" she said with sparkling eyes and it made my heart warmer .

"A caffé Mocha and a doughnut coming right your way" Alec said while typing the order.

She looked down and almost in an inaudible voice said,"Actually,make the Doughnuts five."

"Sure." He said and gave her a toothy grin.What is he upto?

I started making the order,when someone, known as Alec,nudged my shoulder. Why is he so irritating? I ignored him and he did it again.

"What?" I said.

"Were you J-E-A-L-O-U-S?" Alec said ,wiggling his eyebrows,and yes! He actually said every letter of the word.

"Ye..No" I said immediately. Was I going to say yes? No.Why would I be jealous?

I placed the Doughnuts and looked at her.

She was sitting in the corner table,writing something on a copy.The sun rays were falling on her and

God!She looked so beautiful and it made me feel something I have never felt before.

And I knew, I was falling for this girl —hard with no u-turn.

I did not know her name,but I knew that there was safety in her eyes,a warmth which I have not felt since many years.

It was short I know(just around 550 words),but I am proud of how this chapter turned out. My emotions were speaking so much while writing this chapter.Hope you feel the same way at least a bit
