I jump through the window and walk into the living room. (Ironic for a bunch of dead people)
"You haven't been at school?" Alice gives me a concerned look.
"Haven't felt like going." I shrug.
"I think something's going on, you didn't go to school and Emmett left in a hurry." Rosalie says.
"Nothing's going on." Emmett states. I get a sharp pain in my throat and glance outside. Bella.
"We've got a problem." Edward says. "Somebody got into Bella's house. Someone like us."
"There's no others around for miles." Carlisle says. Miles...
"What about everything going on in Seattle? That's not the work of regular people." I chime in.
"No vampire would do that either."
"Newborns." Jasper says. "Only newborns would do something like that."
"Who the hell needs that many newborns?"
"Someone creating an army."
"Police are still on the search for 19 year-old Riley Biers."
"Riley." I whisper.
"What?" Edward looks at me strangely.
"Nothing, I'll be back." I shake my head and jump out the window. I walk into an all too familiar house and into the kitchen.
"Hello sister." A voice sounds from behind me. I slowly turn to face him. "Long time no see."
"What the hell are you planning?" I growl.
"Oh, I'm not planning anything, I'm just the one who makes it happen." He smirks.
"Then who's behind all this Riley?"
"That's for me to know." He shrugs. I pin him against the wall and let my eyes change.
"Well, why don't you just share that information with me then?" I smile showing off my fangs. He tries to push my away and I don't budge. "You're not strong enough to do that."

"I'm not going to tell you." He says.
"Oh, I think you will, especially after a trip downstairs." I throw him through the basement door and kick him down the stairs. "So pick a number between 1 and 10, or I'll choose for you."
"You won't do anything. You don't have the balls!"
"Whatever you say brother." I grab him by the neck and drag him to the back room. I lock the door behind me. "Do you remember all the fun times in here with Dad? Like playing hide and seek, or the guessing game, or an all time classic," I grab the whip, "getting beat like a slave." I smack him with the whip and he growls, climbing to his feet.
"I'm gonna fucking kill you you little bitch." He spits.
"Go ahead and try." I sneer dropping the whip. "I'll even go easy on you." He runs at me and tackles me, both of us falling through the door. I flip us over and pin his arms behind his back. He kicks me in the stomach and I fly backward. I get up and punch him in the head, his neck snaps loudly. He fixes his head then kicks me in the side. I grab his legs and throw him against the freezer. I grab thick chains off of the wall and drop them on him. "Sorry Riles." I wrap him in them and put a heavy duty lock on them. "Have fun getting out of these." One link was almost the size of my hand. "It took all the strength I had to get loose from these, and well we all know who the stronger one is." I pick him up and drop him the freezer. "Nighty night Riles."

"What did I ever do to you Allison?" He coughs.
"You left me for dead and now you're putting an innocent in death's grasp." I make my eyes change and sigh. "Sweet dreams sweetheart." I slam the door shut and put cinder blocks ontop. "You should've just told me who is behind this, but you always have to learn the hard way don't you?"

The Forgotten Hero
Long ago, in the world of Thyne, the Alliance of the Free Races, a name they had given themselves, summoned a hundred humans from another dimension. Praised as heroes by the people, they rejoiced that they had been able to acquire pure, mana deficient humans that wanted to aid them in their time of need, ignoring the black, archaic slave collars around their necks or the depressed, almost hate-filled expressions that they received when interacting with them. After Ten years of bloody war, the dark races were pushed back deep into their territories. Both sides were near breaking point and desperate to end the war once and for all. In a bargain, the twelve surviving heroes launched a high-risk mission, utilising advanced tactics from their home world to kill the Demon Lord. In exchange, they would be sent home, along with the magically preserved corpses of their comrades, though in truth, they knew that even if they returned, they would never be the same. Legends say that, upon ambushing the Demon Lord in his castle, they finally understood the plight of the world, and in the last act of heroism, sacrificed their lives, sealing him in an eternal prison so his essence would not be able to create another. With the loss of the Demon Lord, and no chance for another to be born, the dark races quickly surrendered and the free races celebrated, honouring the noble sacrifice of the heroes before quickly forgetting about them as they returned to their everyday lives. However, legends are rarely truthful, embellished by the victors in order to earn praise as well as hide the less desirable aspects of their deeds. Trapped in the Demon Lord's throne room inside the Demonic Palace, which even taking a single step on its desecrated grounds is punished by death, two figures remain motionless. They had long run out of insults and threats to trade and now they waited. For what, not even the Gods knew.
