《The Cellphone Swap》Chapter 1

I can't believe it. My boyfriend is cheating on me. I couldn't believe it. This is so stupid. Today was the worst day of my life. All of my friends and I were sitting at our usual table and as usual their boyfriends cane up before fourth hour began to kiss them, except me. Now I don't have anyone. I. Am. A. Loner. I feel awful and I feel like I could barf. My friends and I have planned to hang out after school today, to cheer me up. Hopefully I'll find someone new. "Hey have you seen the new guy in town," Maddie asks. "No,"
"He's really hot."
"And he's going to our school."
"I don't care!" I blurt out and storm out of the cafeteria grabbing my binders and loose papers. I turn the corner and ram into somebody. "Ow." I say and look up to see a boy about my age standing there. "Er uh sorry," he says and kneels down picking up my papers. He reminds me of someone I know but I can't pinpoint it. "Yeah it's uh fine," I say. "Hey uh maybe I can make it up to you or something. Maybe like by you a coffee," he asks. "I'm good," I say and start to walk away. "Wait, I'm Matthew," he says. "That's nice," I respond and walk away. Was he the new guy? And who does he look like?
The last bell goes off and schools out. "Hey you!" A voice calls. I turn around and it's Matthew. "Tell me your name." He says. "Why?" I ask. He shrugs and I tell him, Bridget. "Bridget? I used to know a Bridget. She used to live near my when I was in San Francisco. I used to torture her. ALOT." He rants. "Mashew Cashew?" All the memories come back. "Bridget?" He asked. "Oh my god I don't now how this is happening." I inhale slowly. "From this point on leave me the hell alone." I say and storm off.

Matthew cashew was a name me and my friend gave Matthew when we were young. He's always torment us and throw cashews at us. That stopped when my friend died in a tragic car accident. He and his family were on life support for about a month until his uncle took him off. We were only thirteen then and it was the worst day of my life.
I walk to the parking lot and drive back home. A couple of tears file down my cheek thinking of my friend. How many laughs we had together. I push away the memories and drive home.
Rain started to come down and I hear thunder in the distance. The wind picks up and I can barely see out the window. I remember after rain had fallen and me and my friend would go out and slide down the old hill. Then we'd come back home and our moms would scream at us. They new we would never stop doing that. We'd usually get strep throat and we'd sit on his couch and watch t.v and drink hot cocoa.
I pull up to my driveway and head inside. I put my keys on the table and look around the house. This whole house I had for the next two days. My parents were gone on a vacation.
I go to the living room and plop on the couch. My pretzels are always sitting on the table and I grab a few and turn the t.v on. "Romeo,Romeo, take me away," I lady says on the t.v. I press a few channels until I find an episode of Pretty Little Liars. I love that show.

The Choice of Twilight
Growing up has always been difficult. It's even worse when you have to do it all in one night. On the eve of his thirteenth birthday, Ty awakes to find himself in a dreamworld, one-so he is told-that exists to pit him against his greatest fears and insecurities. And to ready him for a final choice. Luckily, Ty is not without friends. He soon meets Gentry, a wooden puppet his grandfather made for him years ago, walking and talking, ready to help Ty learn what he needs to return home in one piece. But that won't be easy when a cruel and abnormally tall skeleton dressed in mockery of Santa Claus and his suit hates Ty's guts. San wants nothing more than to best Ty and do what none of his kind has ever done before: defeat a child that has made "the choice." But Ty will stop at nothing to fight back against everything San's got in order to face his fears and grow up. Because, if he doesn't, he will end up a kid forever. Or, worse...never wake up again. This story is perfect for you if you are a fan of Coraline and Kingdom Hearts, both of those stories greatly inspired this one. I have recently added the Isekai tag after being unsure if it counts or not. I've decided it fits the description of what it is but not the current trends in the genre. If you go in with Coraline in mind I think you will have a better idea of the kind of Isekai this is. And I've also added the Slice of Life tag, that is only for the first five or six chapters though, then Ty enters the dream world and it pretty quickly becoms a progression fantasy, a mix of more traditional fairy tale like trappings alongside more anime action and acquisition of slowly increasing powers. With all that out of the way, please enjoy! Updates every Tuesday and Thursday! What time of day? It's a mystery! (For now)

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
