Getting out of the bathroom, I changed into fresh sweats and oversized hoodie,

before going downstairs, I ordered some food for both me and Noah, and sat comfortably on the couch before looking for a good movie on Netflix. I watched the movie through halfway, it's titanic, but all I can feel right now is the volcano erupting anger for certain someone, glaring at Jack, I turned off the T.V..

I also need to search for an apartment, since I'm going to be here for a while. Making a mind note for informing Noah to search for the apartment I decided to call Diya, I need to pass my worry and frustration to someone else,

On the third ring, she received her phone and answered sarcastically,

"Oh! You finally remembered me!!"

"Hello to you too Diya." I said rolling my eyes.

"Don't you dare roll your eyes at me." She said, Ignoring her tantrums I said indifferently,"I got the job."

"Oh!Oh! I got a good one, I became the president of India!" She said squealing, ugh! Not again with her childishness. I face palmed myself in annoyance.

"Diya I'm not playing the sarcastic game with you." I said irritated.

"Yeah, and I'm penguin!! Haa! Take that!" She squealed again, seriously? Is this the best she could come up with?

Sighing I replied,"Diya the one night stand in Maldives was Xavier Damon King. "

"Yeah, and I slept with Donald Tr—wait. What!?!?!" Finally this crackhead understood, I waited patiently for another babbling episode of hers.

"Wait a second!! You slept with f*cking Xavier King, what the f*ck!?! HE WAS YOUR ONE NIGHT STAND IN MALDIVES!??! Is this a joke?? Cause if this is, then I'm gonna beat your ass up!?!!" She yelled through the phone.

"I'm not jo—" she cut me off,

"Oh it all makes sense, you said the man was V.V.I.P. right?? Did you get that D again!! please tell me he's huge!!?" She squealed making her own theory.

"Diya what the f*ck!!" I yelled back.

A sulking Noah came outside of his room and yelled, "Sis you're screaming like it's the end of the world!?!" I turned and glared at him before focusing back on the call.

Why are we surrounded by a bunch of idiots?? My inner voice said sarcastically.

Yeah why am I surrounded by all the idiots in the world!!

I stood up from the couch and went into kitchen to warm the food once again in microwave, Diya is still screaming from other side. Keeping the food in microwave I said,

"Diya you're supposed to be listening to me!! I'm telling you he's a sly fox!! He tricked me into thinking that he doesn't remember anything and signing the two year contract!!" I said angrily while setting the timer on microwave.

"Oh I won't define him as a fox, he's more like a werewolf, a sexy one!!" She squealed again, this girl is going crazy.

"Ok are you done??" I asked irritatedly.

I heard a coughing voice, before her more stable voice came."Yes I'm done. So you seriously got the job??" She asked trying not to squeal.

"No, he tricked me into getting the job!!" I hissed into the phone, frustrated just thinking about what happened.

"What's the problem in that??" She asked confusedly.

"Don't you understand Diya!?!? He have ulterior motives to trap me like this!! He f*cking harrassed me today. " I replied fuming.

"Phh...Don't play with me girl!! You're not the girl that can be harrassed easily, do you think he wants a cracked head or fractured bone?" She said thoughtfully. " "You didn't stopped him. Did you?" BUSTED!! I can literally see her slitting her eyes in accusation.

"I didn't do anything because I was so shocked, till when I wrapped everything around my head, that was already happened!!" I defended myself.

"So he really harrassed you??" She asked for clarification.

"Yes."

"That's it. I'm coming!! He don't get to harrass my bestie like that!! " her angry voice boomed.

"Wait!! You don't need to come."

"No. I'm definitely coming!! I'll make sure to feed his d*ck to pigs!?? How dare he!!." She's mad. Talk about being bipolar.

"No. I don't need reinforcement till now, I'll call you when I'll need one. Okay?" I said smirking.

"You sure??" She asked hesitantly.

"Yes. If he wants to play then I'll make sure to give him a f*cking war." I said smirking.

"Oh he's in big trouble."

"No. Pray for him Diya, he's going to be guillotined. " I said smirking, I'm so ready for this.

"Well. Just call me when the climax scene arrive. Alright?" She said worriedly.

"Don't worry Diya. I'll be fine."

"I trust you Shana, but if he did it again you have to call me first okay??"

"Yes ma'am."

"Ok. Then I'll go and tell Uncle and auntie about your job" she said proudly this time.

"Ok. You do that." I said smiling.

"Yeah bye. Gotta go, Aunt is calling." She said before hanging the call.

I smiled before I heard a dinged sound, seeing that food is all warmed up, I went back into the living room with the food and placed it on the table. Noah was already drooling all over the food. He's always like that.

"Did you order this??" He asked with twinkles in his eyes. Mr. miser.

"Yes I did." I said smiling.

"Sis....thank you."he said smiling, I think I even saw a tint of tear in his eyes. M.I.S.E.R. I'm telling you he's such a miser.

I smirked in return. His genuine expression just wiped away at once, he frowned,

"Why do I feel like I'm taking bribe without realizing that I'm taking bribe." He asked unsurely.

"Oh no. I just wanted to treat you." I said faking a smile.

He stared at me for sometime before shrugging it off and happily devoring his free meal. He said with food still in his mouth, "Oh! For a second I thought y—" I cut him off,

"I got the job."

He instantly chocked on his food before coughing furiously, he looked at me with water in eyes due to all the coughing.

"Are you serious!??"

"Yep."

"Like in King inc.??"

"Yep."

Suddenly he lifted me up making me squeal in fear, he twirled me around, laughing at him and his happy face, I told him to put me down,

"Sis. I'm so happy. " he said squealing. He's the most supportive brother any sister could ask for.

"Yes, so am I. But I want you to go look for an apartment and furniture with me today. Then you have to book a car for me cause I've to join tomorrow so I won't have time. As for all this I'll pay, but I want a bike that........you. are. going. to. buy. for. me." I said smirking.

"Okay." He said smiling, my expressions changed at once

"What!? Seriously!?! No sulking. " I asked flabbergasted, why isn't he sulking like usual.

He opened his wallet before showing me a card and smirked. I frowned,

"Whose card is this??" I asked confusedly.

He flipped it over and it was papa's card. I looked at him shocked, what the hell!?!?

"How did you get papa's card!??" I yelled.

"Oh, he gave me his card because he knew you'll try to make me a homeless man and because I'll use it wisely. " he said smirking.

"Now let's go for your apartment hunting, I'll make sure all your savings get consumed. Sis." He said smirking before going into his room to change and I went to mine stomping.

Why didn't he gave ME his card!?

I changed into casual clothes before calling the properly dealer whose number I got from Samantha,

"Hello?" The lady said.

"Am I talking to Ms. Daniels? " I asked.

"Yes. You're Ms. Rajput right??" She asked.

"Yes." Why everyone knows who I am?

"Oh. Ms. Smith ( samantha) told me about you, you can come right now to look at the properties if you want." She asked.

"Yes. I'd like that. " I said.

She gave the address where we will be meeting before going to look at the properties together.

Descending the stairs, I saw Noah sitting on the couch waiting for me, I passed him to the main door, he smirked at my behavior before following me silently.

"How about this one Ms. Rajput?" Ms. Daniels asked showing me new apartment for the millionth time, I must say she's very patient with her customers, Noah is constantly groaning beside me everytime I reject another apartment, currently it's 7 PM and after this we still have to shop for furniture. I'm beyond exhausted with constant walking from one apartment to another.

We went inside the apartment that

Ms. Daniels is showing us now,

"It has everything you'll need and It is of reasonable price, I'll surely recommend this apartment to you Ms. Rajput " she said as she turned to look back at us.

I stared at the apartment happily, it's not that extravagant but it has a homie feeling to it. And I absolutely love the living room because of all the floor to ceiling windows that provide so much sunlight, it's really beautiful, I loved it.

Turning to Ms. Daniels I smiled vibrantly, Noah interjected squealing,

"I know that look,.....Ms. Daniels please final this apartment and payment will be done by her" he said pointing his finger at me before going to explore the apartment.

Signing the apartment under mine name, I shook hands with Ms. Daniels before thanking her for helping me.

I got out of my apartment and went downstairs to see Noah already hailing the cab.

Finally with the help of interior designer, we're able to arrange and get everything for my apartment, all the furniture will be arriving tomorrow, so Noah will be arranging everything, of course he sulked as usual, but I made him agree at last.

Noah is walking in front of me like a living zombie, just as he we reached the hotel room, he leaned against the door and just looking at me, rolling my eyes at his extradramatic act, I opened the door with the key card.

Just as the door opened, he fell down on the floor, ignoring him, I walked over his body to jump on the couch, after 2 minutes he came inside the living room himself,

He said pouting,

"I thought you'd come back to help me!"

I stared at him before going back on my phone, not paying attention to him I said,

"I want the car and bike at my apartment on Monday, and as for all my clothes including ethnic ones, bags and heels that you didn't let me bring, should be here as well till Monday. All the furniture will arrive tomorrow so arrange all of them till Sunday. Okay?"

"What is all this sis. I'm human too." He said groaning with his face on the couch.

"Let's recap a little, shall we??

According to me, you were very keen on coming new York even if you have to be my butler, you agreed on that yourself. " I said sarcastically.

"Okay. I'll do it......just spare me of the lecture."

"That I can do." I said nonchalantly before jumping back happily to my room.

It's 10PM, maybe I should just take a bath to relax and pamper myself.

I went inside the bathroom with everything needed, first shaved all of my body, shampooing my hair, bathing in bath bombs. I did everything.

Now brushing my teeth and afterwards applying cream, I stared at my reflection determinedly.

If that Xavier f*cking King thinks that I'll submit myself to him just like any of his other whores, then he has other thing coming to him!! I'll show him who is the boss here.
