We sit there in silence while watching the firework, I can't believe it I spoke for the first time in so many years...

And the reason?

I never thought that the reason would be a boy, I always thought it was going to be uncle Sukuna, or my brother even...

I knew I had feelings for him, I used to always deny them but now, I'm ready to accept the fact that I can't control all my feelings.

For the first time in years, I felt genuinely happy, without a care in the world...

I turn in his direction only to see him already looking at me, I blush at the small space that was in between us.

We slowly lean closer, and closer, close enough that I could feel his breath on my lips,

"Y/N-CHAN! INUMAKI-SENPAI WE FINALLY FOUND YOU!" yelled Yuuji as he approached us.

We quickly backed away from each other while our faces turned as bright as the hearts that decorated the festival.

We faced them and waved, "sup?" Toge-senpaiwkwardly asks.

"Itadori! Are they up there?" people shout from the bottom of the hill, probably my brothers.

Yuuji nods then we hear footsteps coming closer, "Y/n! Oh thank god you're ok!" Akito dramatically exclaims.

I smile and wave at them as I stand up while dusting myself and so does Toge-senpai.

We all climb down the hill and meet up with everyone at the food stands.

They greet us bluntly while we sit down at the table beside them.

"Okay, so what are ya'll getting I'm going to bring them," asked Panda-senpai.

We all discuss among ourselves and decide to get,

"3 corndogs Megumi Maki and Kugisaki, 1 pretzel for me, 1 deep-fried Oreo for Itadori, and 2 Takoyakis for Y/n and Inumaki." Panda-senpai summarizes.

We all nod while we walk awa from our table to order our food.

"So, what were you both doing up there?" Maki smirks, while me and Toge both blush red.

"N-nothing!" Toge-senpai tried to cover it up, and I just nod.

"You better have done nothing, Inumaki-senpai you may be older than me but if you do something I will not hesitate to harm you" Megumi warns, while Akito glares at him for putting on a protective brother act before him.

"Protective much Megumi?" Nobara teases as Megumi just rolls his eyes.

"I swear I didn't do anything!" Toge-senpai stated and put his hands in front of him.

"Stop teasing the poor kid," we hear Gojo-sensei say from behind us.

"Stop teasing the poor kid," we all hear Gojo-sensei from behind me,

"But if you actually do something, I will also not hesitate to hurt you~" Gojo-sensei whispers in my ear which sent shivers down my spine while I just slightly nod.

And at that moment, Panda finally came back with our food, I have to thank him later...

"Alright! Dig in everyone!" he announces.

"uhh Panda-senpai, it was supposed to be 1 deep-fried Oreo and 2 Takoyakis, not the other way around," Itadori informs.

"Oh, sorry hehe," Panda says while giving me a lok.

"It's ok, Y/n can have it." I offer as I push the dish towards her but she just shakes her head no.

"No, you can have it" she signs.

"No no, ladies first" I argue back.

"Why don't you guys just share it or buy another one?" Maki suggests.

But of course, Panda had that covered up, "They ran out of Takoyaki at the Takoyaki stand."

"....fine." I sigh and pass Y/n a spork, which she gladly accepts.

After eating everyone was doing their own thing until Nishimiya decided to speak up.

"Can you all hear that?" she points at some event happening across the festival.

We all stand up and move closer to where the music was coming from, it was a guy proposing to his significant other.

"Wow..." I hear Y/n mutter from beside me.

I smile down at her then I face the couple again, this time they were kissing, I quickly put a hand in front of Y/n's eyes.

She tried to push it off but I wouldn't take it off, "No no no, you're too innocent for this" I tease.

The couple pulled apart and hugged each other while I gently retracted my hand from Y/n's eyes.

She pouts and turns away from me like a child that did't get what she wanted,

I honestly felt bad even though I knew she was just joking around, so to 'make it up to her' I picked her up bridal style and carried her away from the group that had their attention on something.

I ran towards a less crowded place and propped her down on the ground, "Toge-senpai... why did you bring me here?" she signs sheepishly, I see she isn't that comfortable with me yet...

"Well," I started to doubt if now was the right time to finally come clean about well... my feelings, Panda once said in these exact words, 'You can never call yourself a man unless you confess your love to the woman you love.' I didn't want to accept his advice since... he never even had a relationship before.

But good advice or not it's worth a shot, "I wanted to tell you something..."

She hums indicting she wanted me to goon

I stood there anticipatedly waiting for him to say something

"I-" he starts

"I like- no love you... I love you." he stutters as he tried to cover his face with his hands.

It's mutual...THE FEELINGS ARE MUTUAL!

I stood thee in shock,

"uhh sorry, forget I said anything, let's go back to the others" he sighs, disappointment evident in his voice while he walks past me,

I snap back to reality and quickly grab his wrist so he would face me, and without thinking I place my lips on his

His body tenses up but he quickly composed himself and started kissing back.

This kept up until we finally had to pull away to take a breath, he looks at me and asks "So does that mea-" I cut him off by placing a soft peck on his lips "I love you too."

And I started walking back to my brothers leaving my poor senpi standing there flustered.
