《Farmer's Pampered Wife: Farming Crops To Raise A Bun》Chapter 43: The Money Was All Spent?

After she finished speaking, Luo-shi ran off without a second word, but she didn't forget to take the basin even when she was about to leave. As for A'Lan's life or death, she doesn't give a damn.
Seeing this, A'Lan was about to call her, but it was obvious at a glance that Luo-shi would never look back.
A'Lan could only roll her eyes at Luo-shi, she then glanced at Lin Xiaoye and Sister Hu.
"You saw what happened, it wasn't me who ate the bun and I don't have money."
After her speech, A'Lan turned around and walked back.
However, contrary to their thoughts, just after they left, Lin Xiaoye and Sister Hu leaned back and forth while laughing until their stomachs hurt.
Sister Hu said: "Old Huo's wife, so you have your ways, but I still feel sorry for that big bun."
Lin Xiaoye smiled, "What are you sorry for? Just treat it as giving food to a beggar and doing good deeds. But it's all thanks to you today, Sister-in-Law."
"Don't be so polite with me, just come and find me for this kind of thing in the future. Out of all the members of the Lin Family, I only like you. I hope you won't mind my words." Sister Hu said.
"How could that be? I naturally know what kind of person Sister Hu is."
After they finished talking, they sat inside the ox-cart and went back. Originally, Lin Xiaoye had planned to unpack her things when the ox-cart arrived at the Hu Family's courtyard so that no one would see her.
But now that she had met the Lin Family halfway through, she had nothing to worry about. Furthermore, there weren't many people in the village right now, the rest either went to town to do business or were working in the fields. Thus, nobody saw them, so she directly brought them home.
"Thank you so much, Sister-in-Law. Later at noon, bring Big Brother Hu over for lunch and eat at my place. I have bought a lot of things." Lin Xiaoye said.

Sister-in-Law Hu quickly waved her hand: "That's so embarrassing, those things are for the New Year. My son really likes to eat. If he comes as well, maybe he will eat all your food reserved for the New Year later."
After saying that, Sister Hu laughed happily.
Lin Xiaoye smiled, "What's wrong with that? I'm just worried that your son won't like the taste of my cooking, so it's a deal then. In a while, come over and bring your family along. If it's inconvenient for your Mother-in-Law to come over, then you guys can bring some back after you finish eating."
Sister Hu had tried to shied away for a while, but seeing that Lin Lil Xiaoye was really insistent, she was unable to refuse. In the end, she was actually worried that Lin Xiaoye would feel that she was being stingy, so she agreed.
Lin Xiaoye walked in front of the door and took a look at the courtyard.
"Huo Li went to the mountain and still hasn't come back?"
She muttered to herself, then started to move the things in one at a time.
She did not expect to see a pair of heads peeking out just as she reached the door and she was momentarily stunned.
"So you're at home. Hurry up and help me carry these things."
After that, Lin Xiaoye placed the food she bought into the kitchen, while Huo Li took the rest of the fabrics into the house.
Huo Li couldn't help but furrow his brows when he saw so many things.
She spent all the money?
Lin Xiaoye patted the dust off her hands, then let out a sigh of relief with her hands on her hips.
"Well, I've solved a big problem today. It almost exhausted my waist."
With that, Lin Xiaoye twisted her neck and waist.
However, Huo Li didn't say anything. He just stood there with a frown.
Lin Xiaoye thought about how she earned some money today and decided to settle this matter. She should tell Huo Li now, so she walked up and hit Huo Li with her shoulder.

"There's good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear first?"
Huo Li glanced at her, then looked around coldly as if he had no interest at all.
However, she had been here for so long, hence how could she not be used to this iceberg's temperament?
Don't wanna know? Well, she insisted on saying it.
Thinking of this, Lin Xiaoye smiled, then said, "Then I'll tell you the bad news first."
With his straight face, let's see how stinky his face would be later.
Lin Xiaoye poured a glass of water and took a sip.
"The bad news is, I think I spent a lot of money today."
Then Lin Xiaoye intentionally glanced at him.
Huo Li's frown deepened.
Huo Li suddenly glanced at her.
She still have the nerve to say that? He originally thought that she would be able to live a good life, but who could have thought that...
Forget it, if it was for the family, then let her be.
Huo Li let out a deep breath as he thought about it and then let out a faint, "En."
Seeing him, Lin Xiaoye was taken aback.
He wasn't angry? Could it be that what she just said wasn't obvious enough? Does he feel that she didn't spend enough?
While thinking, Lin Xiaoye suddenly said, "I've used up all the two taels of silver you gave me."
After saying that, a hint of pride appeared on her face.
He should be angry now, right? Wait, why does she want to make this iceberg angry?
While she was thinking, she suddenly felt a gust of cold air drifting over from the side. She was immediately scared stiff.
Dead, she's dead, wasn't she plucking hair from a tiger's back?
Lin Xiaoye quickly smiled as she thought of this.
"It was a joke. I didn't use it all up, but it's pretty much used up."
Huo Li glanced at her but didn't say anything.
Lin Xiaoye immediately shut up and didn't intend to tease this young master anymore.
She said afterwards, "There's another good news. It's the thing I told you yesterday. Today was the opening day and business is good."
A hint of glee appeared on Lin Xiaoye's face while she was saying that.
Just as Lin Xiaoye was immersed in her own happiness, she did not know that Huo Li was looking at her.
Looking at the woman in front of him, smiling so happily with a hint of pride on her face. This was the first time he had seen Lin Xiaoye have such an expression.
Compared to Lin Xiaoye, who had just gotten married and could only eat and do nothing else but throw a tantrum at him and Little Mochi and never smile, she was definitely different.
However, he now knew that the Lin Xiaoye, who was in front of him, was the woman he had married and also the mother of Little Mochi. However, there seemed to be a slight change in Lin Xiaoye's heart.
She even seemed quite pretty, if one didn't pay attention to the birthmark on her face.
As he thought of that, Huo Li's lips unconsciously curled up into a smile.
Meanwhile, Lin Xiaoye didn't know what had happened on the other side.
A'Lan and Luo-shi returned home and when Luo-shi saw that Lin Xiaoye and the others didn't chase after her to ask for money, she heaved a sigh of relief, but upon seeing A'Lan's expression, she immediately felt guilty.
Damn it, A'Lan wouldn't tell that damned old woman what had happened earlier, right?
She immediately smiled brightly and stepped forward. "Oh, that A'Lan. You mustn't let your aunt know about what just happened. Otherwise, she will teach me a lesson."
