《Farmer's Pampered Wife: Farming Crops To Raise A Bun》Chapter 47: You Liar!

"What's the matter? It was Auntie who asked me to wash them. Now that I'm saying I'll help you wash them, you're no longer happy. Just what do you want me to do?"
After speaking, Lin Xiaoye let out a helpless sigh.
"Come on, let's not fiddle around anymore and let Grandma wait anxiously."
Lin Xiaoye spoke again and then took the plate of sour beans on the stove and left.
A'Lan immediately went forward to stop her. "Wait! Is that what you're going to use to send to your Grandma and me?"
Lin Xiaoye was momentarily taken aback: "Auntie, what's wrong with this? This is good stuff. You don't know, Huo Li and I liked to eat this. I'm only giving this to you and Grandma, and I can't even bear to give this to others."
Lin Xiaoye directly bypassed A'Lan and went out after she spoke.
Facing Lin Xiaoye, A'Lan was actually speechless.
When she arrived in the courtyard, she saw Sun-shi sitting there holding a piece of corn pancake in her hands and eating it until her mouth was full of oil.
Seeing that Lin Xiaoye had come out, she immediately said, "Why are you so good at messing around? Quickly put it down, I'm so hungry!"
With that said, Sun-shi quickly stretched her neck and looked at Lin Xiaoye's hand. She had thought that it must be some good stuff, but when Lin Xiaoye placed the sour beans on the table, Sun-shi was instantly stunned.
Immediately, she looked up at Lin Xiaoye: "Bitch, you really have the guts, huh? You actually used this thing to trick this old lady?"
Lin Xiaoye immediately pouted: "Grandma, didn't you tell me to take out all of my family's good things? I just gave it to you now, why are you still saying that about me?"
Sun-shi immediately threw her chopsticks on the table, "I say, you really want to overturn the sky, right? Don't think that just because this old lady doesn't usually teach you a lesson that you dare talk back to this old lady here. This is a good thing? Do you really think I'm stupid?"

Lin Xiaoye glanced at her.
Wasn't she just an idiot?
Then she raised her eyes and said, "Grandma, this is my husband's house. Huo Li is a well-known hunter in the village. If you lose your temper here and scare Little Mochi, then I'm afraid that Huo Li will fight you to death later!"
At the end of her sentence, Lin Xiaoye purposefully lowered her voice.
Sun-shi suddenly thought of Huo Li's tall and strong body. She could not help but feel weak in her heart, but she didn't show it on her face.
"Humph. No matter what, I am still his elder. Would he still do that?"
Lin Xiaoye hurriedly shook her head and went up to Sun-shi to whisper: "Grandma, don't say that. Don't even talk about you, he would even do that to me. Didn't you see that I used to give you delicious foods in the past, but why haven't I been sending you anything these days? Wasn't it because he found out about it and taught me a lesson?"
After she finished speaking, Lin Xiaoye secretly pinched herself intentionally and the pain almost made her cry.
She then pulled back her sleeves and looked at Sun-shi with a wronged expression.
"Grandma, take a look at this. My injury is not even completely healed yet."
When Sun-shi saw the red and purple handprints, she became a little nervous.
"What's wrong with that? I didn't ask him to feed me. You were the one who brought those things to me in the past, so you deserve to be beaten!"
Hearing her words, Lin Xiaoye immediately scolded Sun-shi in her heart.
She deserved it? Humph, damned old woman. Didn't the original owner send all the good things to this damned old woman? Otherwise, how could this old woman be the only fat person in the Lin Family while the rest of the members were so thin!
Just as she was in deep thought, Sun-shi said: "Hurry up and cook all the prey that that guy had hunted these past few days for this old lady to eat. I will be staying for dinner and eat here."

Lin Xiaoye's heart tightened.
This old woman is still not leaving? This won't do. Those good things of hers couldn't be just taken away by this old woman. She had to think of a way to chase her away.
Thinking about it, Lin Xiaoye immediately said: "Grandma, what are you doing? I told you I have already given you everything that could be eaten at home, why can't you believe me?"
Maybe Sun-shi would never have thought that Lin Xiaoye, who only knew how to cater, compliment and curry favor to her, would act like a little kid at this moment.
Seeing Lin Xiaoye pouting at the side with a face full of anger, Sun-shi did not know why but she felt like she could not vent her anger at all.
"You, you little bitch. When have I not believed you? But look at what you're giving me! You want me to eat this sour thing! You just want this old lady to have an upset stomach, isn't it?"
Even the arrogance in her scolding had lessened.
"Grandma, my family only has this kind of thing. Recently, the weather has been too cold, there's no game to catched in the mountains and it's already good enough that my family has these sour beans. After a while, I probably won't even have them and I'm also hoping to spend the winter at Grandma's place."
Lin Xiaoye said with a wronged expression.
Sun-shi immediately became unhappy when she heard that, then stood up and glared at Lin Xiaoye.
"Humph, I knew you were a bitch, but you actually dared to have ideas on this old lady? You're afraid of dying, so you want to come to this old lady to spend the winter? Even if you starve to death here, it has nothing to do with this old lady, so don't go looking for me!"
When she was done speaking, Sun-shi glanced at A'Lan and said, "Let's go back. Just these few things aren't even enough to fill the gaps between this old lady's teeth."
Sun-shi immediately took the remaining corn pancakes and only left her half-eaten corn pancake on the plate.
A'Lan reluctantly looked at Huo Li, but his back was facing outside, so she couldn't see his face.
But if she were to call Huo Li when she is still an unmarried woman, it wouldn't be good if this news spread out, right?
Thinking about this, she could only leave with Sun-shi.
After seeing them leave, Lin Xiaoye stood up and dusted off the dust on her hands. She then took the half-eaten corn pancake and looked at it.
Did they think that she was still the old Lin Xiaoye? Still want to come here to eat and drink? No way! However, she felt sorry about this tortilla. Forget it, she would just treat it as feeding it to a pig.
However, Lin Xiaoye has remembered this matter today in her heart. Initially, she had acted out a play with Hu Sister-in-Law in the village in front of A'Lan and Luo-shi, thinking that A'Lan would forget about it, but she didn't expect her to come back with Sun-shi.
It seemed that this A'Lan was more powerful than she had imagined. Moreover, it was because A'Lan wanted to see Huo Li that she followed Sun-shi here to grab food.
Thinking about it in this way, Lin Xiaoye felt that she had to be more careful about this sort of thing in the future. It wasn't like she would always have such good luck to fool Sun-shi.
While she was thinking, Xiaoya walked over.
"Lin Xiaoye, you liar!"
Lin Xiaoye was stunned, then she looked at Xiaoya.
"When did I lie?"

Because KU requires exclusivity as part of their terms of service, I have had to pull the majority of the content from this site. I left the full novel up for as long as possible, so I hope everyone got a chance to read it. If you haven't had a chance to read it in its entirety (sorry!) you can pick it up on Amazon. Thanks again for coming on this journey with me, and I so hope you enjoyed it. The book will be out on Tuesday July 24th. Best, James Hunter

Shadowrun: Blake Island School of Magic
It's a high tech, low life. It's the Seattle Metroplex in 2074. It rises like a steel and concrete cancer out of the earth. Poverty is rampant, corruption is everywhere, crime is out of control, corporations basically control everything, the old United States is fractured, magic has come back and now it turns out that humanity has been joined by elves, dwarves, orks and trolls. The old world ended but the rent is still due. Life goes on. You'd be surprised what people can adapt to, especially if they don't have a choice. One of the places where life goes on is just west of Seattle. Surrounded by the waters of the Puget Sound is an island. On that island is the Blake Island School of Magic. A decade ago it was known for producing some of the most talented awakened in the world. That reputation was hijacked by the wealthy corporate elite who now park their teenage children there. And since it's a boarding school, their parents mostly forget about them. Three young people, who are certainly not wealthy or elite, are chosen this year to attend this school of magic in hopes of revitalizing their reputation for talent. One from the ash drifts of the Puyallup Barrens, one from the most densely populated slum hive in the world and one from prison. This is their story. -- This story is set in the Shadowrun universe. If you're not familiar with Shadowrun, it mostly tells the stories of deniable mercenaries called shadowrunners in a cyberpunk dystopia. Instead of telling another story solely about shadowrunners, this story will tell the tale of young people navigating a world that is indifferent to them at best and actively hostile at worst. Shadowrunners will be in the story and we'll see them operate, but they won't be its main focus. This story originally began in 2017 as a passion project and continues to this day on the Somethingawful.com forums. The unedited version is over a million words strong. There are currently seven books in this series and I am currently in the process of editing them. If you read this story then you won't lack for content. -- The Topps Company, Inc. has sole ownership of the names, logo, artwork, marks, photographs, sounds, audio, video and/or any proprietary material used in connection with the game Shadowrun.
