I hope everyone has had a good weekend. I'm sorry this didn't get updated on Friday like planned, but I have been reading a book series which I am falling in love with. I can't remember the last book I read that made me feel such a pull to it!
Anyways I have found a new idea for this story to take and I actually have shocked myself as I was writing some of it because I don't want to do certain things but I know I have to....
I am so glad I decided to continue with this story!! It is so easy to write!
Also I got an update for this and my other story In the Heat of the Moment done in one day so that made my day easy!!
Enjoy this read!!

(Also I put the song Never Say Never by The Fray on the side because at a certain part with Emma and Tyler I thought it fit the part!!!)

Previously:
'Hey Tyler, I have a quick question. Why didn't your mom tell me she was going to pick up Arabella?'
There was a pause on the other line. 'Emma, my mom is here at the house playing with Jacob. What are you talking about?'
My face drained of color after that. 'Oh my god.'
'Emma what's going on?'
I wanted to answer but I couldn't I felt dead. Where the hell is Arabella?
~~~~~~>
I barely stopped the car before I was out. I rushed into the house where Tyler was waiting. As tears ran down my face I darted right into his arms. I felt sick to my stomach but nothing would come up. Tyler's wrapped his arms around me as he pulled me into a tight embrace and allowed me to cry.
"Baby don't worry I already have the pack out looking for her. We will find her I promise you." He pulled my chin up to meet his eyes.
"Tyler where is she? She could be hurt or hungry or worried or..." I lost it I began sobbing even harder.
I watched out of the corner of my eye Lisa pick up Jacob and take him upstairs which I was thankful for. I tried my best to calm down but I kept remembering my baby was missing. Tyler had gone into the kitchen to make me tea.
The couch was the only place I would sit. I couldn't force myself go upstairs where all of here stuff is. The door opened and I looked up to see Caitlyn coming my way. Taking no time at all she was beside me trying to comfort me.
"Emma, we will find her! Kyle is out looking for her as we speak as well as the entire pack." I knew she was trying to help but all I kept hearing was Arabella's voice or her laugh. I found myself crying into Caitlyn's shoulder as she patted my back.
It was going 8 o'clock in the evening and still we heard nothing. Tyler looked troubled as he sat quietly staring blankly into the fire.
"Tyler go help find her." My voice came out scratchy.
He appeared in front of me. "What about you, how can I leave you like this?" Gripping my hands in his, he placed kisses on them.
"I have the situation here Tyler go find your little girl." Caitlyn had instructed.
Tyler stood up and pulled me up to stand in front of him. He wrapped his arms tightly around me and kissed me as if it would be our last. "I love you so much Emma. I will be back with our baby girl."
I pecked him back one last time before pulling away. "Be safe."
I wanted to go out myself and find my baby, my chest ached too much to just sit and do nothing. Silence surrounded us and I hated it. I kept hearing her laugh; suddenly I jumped off the couch and stared to pace myself in the living room.
"Emma calm down this isn't going to help." Caitlyn looked carefully at me.
I froze for a minute running my hands in my hair. "I can't do this. I need to go help." I took off running towards the door.
Caitlyn blocked my way. "Don't do this. Emma look at me." Hesitating for a moment I slowly took a glimpse at her "if someone took her then who is to say that they're not waiting for you too!"
"I would let them have me in exchange for her. Please let me go!" I pleaded with her.
"I can't let you Emma and you know I am only doing what's best for you." She replied as she turned to lock the door.
I opened my mouth to say more when I heard footsteps running down the stairs. Whipping my head around, I saw Lisa coming down two steps at a time. She seemed out of breath when she reached us. "They have a lead." She said with hope.
I could have sworn Caitlyn was about to kill her mom if that's all she had to tell us. "Mom now is not the time to give us information like that which could bring false hope."
Lisa shook her head as if Caitlyn miss understood. "I meant to also say Kyle needs you to run home and take him his laptop with the file on his desk in the study at your house, he has something on it which he belives will help."
Caitlyn hesitated at first as she looked at me. "I can't keep an eye on her if I'm gone."
"She will be fine, I'll watch her." Lisa had informed her.
Caitlyn nodded and made her way out the door to her car. "Do you need anything sweetie? I can make you something to eat?" Lisa offered.
I shook my head "I'll be fine. You can go back to the kids I'll be fine down here."
"Why don't you come up here with me? I'm sure Jacob would love to see his mom." I knew she was right. I had to take care of my other child.
The kids were all in Jacob's room. Drew had managed to fall asleep on the huge stuff teddy bear in the corner, while Ryan was asleep beside him. I saw Jacob sitting in his crib with his blanket. His face lit up the moment he saw me.
I smiled the best I could back to him. I grabbed him and picked him up. This was what I needed, to hold him. Turning to see Lisa smiling at me I mouth 'thank you' to her as I cradle Jacob in my arms.
Since Jacob had fallen asleep in my arms I wanted to take him into my room and lay down with him. Lisa was now occupied in the rocking chair that was in the corner right beside Drew and Ryan. "I'm going to my room with him for a while."
"That's fine. If you need anything just yell and I'll be there." Lisa smiled sweetly to me.
When I got into my room I laid Jacob in my bed and sat beside him, not for a moment did I want to take my eyes off of him. I felt the tears roll down my face thinking about Arabella. What if they never find her?
It was if time froze while I watch my little boy sleep peacefully. Looking at the clock on the nightstand informed me it was a little after midnight. Feeling my throat parched I decided to go get water. Picking up Jacob I gently placed him in the baby pin we had in our room.
Walking by Jacob's room I no longer saw Drew or Ryan there. Passing the guest room I saw Lisa asleep on the bed. I was happy she took the time to rest. Creeping down the stairs I tried to be as quiet as I could.
I realized Tyler wasn't back and Caitlyn had taken the boys home. Making my way into the kitchen I slid my hand along the wall to find the light switch. When I had it on I walked to the fridge to retrieve a water bottle.
Closing the refrigerator I saw the picture Arabella had drawn me yesterday. This just brought everything crashing down. The thought alone wanted to make me scream. Instead I found myself on the kitchen floor crying my eyes out.
My chest ached as the sobs continued to keep coming. I had no idea how long I was there for. The sound of the front door opening scarred the crap out of me but then I thought what is the point in being scarred anymore?
I didn't even take the time to look up and see who it was, but soon I knew. I could feel him standing in front of me before he bent down and sat on the floor with me. He wrapped his arms around my waist as he pulled me into his lap.
I wrapped my arms around his neck as I continued to sob into his chest. "Where is she?" I whispered against him over and over again.
He rubbed the back of my hair with his hand trying to calm me down. "We believe they have her near the River up north." He said softly, almost to softy for my ears to hear.
"You don't have her yet?"
Tyler struggled to hold his composure before he spoke. "We are doing everything in our power to get her." He explained to me as he continued to rock me.
"No!" I screamed as sobs began to take over again. "You promised you would find her. You promised!" I yelled at him.
Tyler let me take my anger out on him. I hit his chest over and over again until I started to feel too weak to do anything. "Baby listen to me. I will find her, maybe not at this very moment but I will find her and this is a promise I am making to you." I held him even tighter.
After what seemed like an eternity the sky started to lighten up. I knew we had been her on the floor for some time, just enjoying each other's embrace. I was so tired but I couldn't get myself to get to sleep. Every time I would see her and began to cry again.
"What if she is scarred Tyler?" I whispered unaware if he was even awake.
There was a moment of silent before he answered. "I don't know baby, but whoever did this will pay."
I felt Tyler's phone vibrate in his pants pocket. He quickly pulled it out and read the text he had received.
"Babe I need to get going."
I nodded as he pushed the both of us off the floor. We stood for a moment staring at each other. He slipped his arms around my waist pulling me to him. "I love you so much Emma."
Before I could respond Tyler's lips came crashing down onto mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck deepening the kiss. I never wanted him to pull away, but I knew he was going to find our daughter. "Stay in the house, and try to get some rest." He instructed to me as he rested his forehead to mine.
Nodding my head I stared into his eyes. "I love you Tyler."
He pulled away and ran upstairs to change and check on Jacob for me. I held back the tears as I watched him leave. I hated to have to let him go like this but I knew it was for the best. Turning around I wonder if I should go ahead and make breakfast.
It was 6:00 o'clock in the morning so putting on coffee for Lisa and I seemed like the way to go. I stared to pull out the bacon when the house phone went off. I prayed it was Tyler giving me good new even though he left a little under 30 minutes ago.
'Hey Tyler did you find anything? Please tell me you found something?' I practically begged into the phone.
At that very moment my heart stopped I knew the laugh from the other end of the phone. 'Sorry Emma if it's disappointed to hear from me and not Tyler.'
'What do you want Stacy? You should be dead with Caysea.' I sneered into the phone.
'Now why do you have to go and be a bitch like that? After all I believe I have something you want.' My mouth fell open as I fought to breath.
'By your silence I'm sure I can conclude you know what I'm talking about?' She laughed into the phone.
'How do I know you're not lying? For all I know you found out she was missing and wanted to use this as an advantage point for you.' I pointed out prayer this was the case.
'Point well made, however you could always take my word or how about I try this.' There was a pause on the other end. Then it sounded like the phone was being passed around.
'Say Hi to your mommy Arabella.'
'Mommy where are you?' She began crying into the phone.
'Sweetie listen to mommy I will be there too...' I was suddenly cut off.
'Let's not put false hope into the child's head.' Stacy barked at me as if I was the one doing wrong.
'Stacy tell me anything you want. I will get it for you. Please just give me back my daughter.'
'What do I want? Let's see I want you to disappear. I want Tyler back; he was mine first way before he was yours. I wanted your children to be gone with you. I can't stand to think he would be intimate with someone like the likes of you. I wanted my dad back, I want my sister back. Tell me precious Emma how much of that can you give me?'
I knew my answer and started to break my heart into two. 'You can have Tyler, I will take the kids and leave please just don't hurt my baby.' Tears fell as I spoke.
'Good choice Emma. I will call you in about one hour for farther instructions in the mean time I suggest you pack up everything you need because when I say move you are to leave the house with your belongings and Jacob and meet me where I say. No tricks, because I have you being watched as we speak, so one wrong move and Arabella is no more.'
'Stacy you have my word!'
'Don't mess this up Emma. Arabella is counting on you.'
