《Cellphone Swap》Chapter Seven

Emma and I were getting ready for the party. I was in a white low v-neck crop top and a black skin tight skirt. I slipped on a pair of black heels and checked myself in the mirror one last time. I kept my hair down straight and did a natural makeup look. "Ready?" Emma asked and I nodded.
We walked downstairs and met up with Gabe. We all walked to the car and got in. Gabe drove us to the party and we were there in no time. We parked a couple blocks away since there was a lot of cars already.
We walked up to the house and went inside.
I went straight to the kitchen to make myself a drink. I put some vodka and pink lemonade into a red solo cup and took a sip.
----
I was probably six drinks in now and you could probably say I was drunk. I was on the dance floor dancing with everyone. I was having a dance off with another girl, I could say I was definitely winning. Everyone was cheering my name.
"Alright everyone, I gotta take a quick break." I yelled as I walked through the crowd of people. I went towards the kitchen to make myself another drink.
"Natalie!" I heard someone say. I turned around and looked at Nate who had two guys with them.
"Nate!" I squealed and ran over to him. We hugged and butterflies started to blow up in my stomach. "I thought you couldn't come." I said, my words all slurred together.
"I convinced Matthew to come." Nate said as he smiled down at me. I smiled back and grabbed his hand in mine.
"Let's go dance!" I said excitedly as I dragged him towards the living room where everyone was dancing. I started to shake my hips and grabbed Nate's other hand in my hand. I started to make him dance with me, the smile on my lips never disappearing. "I wanna go get a tattoo!"

"I don't think you should do that till tomorrow when you're sober." Nate said.
"Why?" I whined, "I already have one." I pulled down my bottom lip and showed him my lip tattoo that said 'bo$$.'
"Natalie!" Nate said well laughing, "When did you get that?"
"Um... 4ish months ago." I said, "My parents were pissed..."
"Yeah my mom would kill me if she saw mine." Nate pulled down his lip and it said 'grind.' "So don't tell her about that." I giggled and used my thumb to pull his lip down.
"I like it." I said well smiling.
"I like yours too." Nate said as he ran his hand through my hair. My eyes were stuck on his lips, all I wanted to do was kiss him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him down closer to me.
Our lips were inches from each other and as Nate started to break the distance I heard Gabe yell my name. I quickly jumped away from Nate and turned to see Gabe. "What are you doing?" He yelled as he grabbed my arm and pulled me over to him.
"Gabe I'm so sorry." I said quietly.
Gabe ignored me and pushed me behind him. "Anderson fuck off." Gabe said through clenched teeth. Nate shook his head and stood his ground. Gabe threw a punch, hitting Nate in the eye. Nate threw a punch at Gabe, hitting him in the nose.
"Stop!" I screamed as I grabbed onto Gabe's hand. I tried pulling him away from Nate, but was unsuccessful. He pulled his arm away from me and continued to fight Nate. "Gabe stop!" I screamed louder this time. "Gabe!"
Aidan and Lucas slipped through the crowd and pulled them away from each other. There was blood on Nate's lip and I quickly ran over to him, tears rolling down my cheeks. "I'm so sorry Nate..." I said.

"Natalie it's fine." Nate said as he wiped away the tears on my cheeks. Gabe was cussing at Aidan and Lucas. "I play football every weekend and I've been in worse fights."
"But you're hurt... because of me." I said as more tears rolled down my cheeks.
"It's not because of you." Nate said as he continued to wipe the tears on my cheeks away. "I promise."
"I'm so sorry..." I said again as I hugged him.
"Natalie it's fine, I promise." Nate said as he kissed the top of my head. Someone grabbed my arm and pulled me away from Nate. I looked at Gabe who didn't meet my eyes.
"Find Emma. We're leaving." Gabe said through gritted teeth.
"Okay..." I said quietly as I started to walk around, trying to find Emma. I saw here standing with a girl talking. I walked over, "Emma we have to go."
She turned and looked at me. "What happened?" She asked quickly as we started walking towards the door.
"I tried to kiss Nate and Gabe saw and got really pissed. They got in a fight... he hurt Nate because of me." I said as another tear rolled down my cheek. We walked outside and started walking to where Gabe parked.
"Natalie that isn't your fault. Gabe is just protective over you and he hates Nate, so it was probably pent up anger." Emma said as we rounded a corner. We saw Gabe and Aidan standing next to the car talking, which I wasn't surprised about since Aidan was the only one that could calm him down.
"Get in the car." Gabe said as he glared at me. I sighed and got into the back seat with Emma. Gabe and Aidan got into the front seat making me roll my eyes. "What the fuck is wrong with you?! Out of at least 100 guys there you chose Nate Anderson!"
"Gabe chill out on her!" Emma said, "Don't you think you did enough by fighting Nate?!"
"You knew about this didn't you?!" Gabe yelled, "Emma! Why wouldn't you fucking tell me?!"
"Because that wasn't any of your business." Emma said as she rubbed my arm. "Just because you're her older brother, doesn't give you the right to know everything and boss her around. Gabe she didn't do this to upset you, she did it because she likes him."
"Emma I fucking hate him!" Gabe yelled as he started to speed up.
"Slow down!" Emma yelled, "And I get that you hate him, but this isn't about you."
"He doesn't deserve a second of her time." Gabe said, "Natalie deserves to be treated like a queen and he isn't going to do that for her. And as her older brother I think it's my job to help with that."
"But it's not." Emma said making Gabe sigh. "And how are you the judge if he treats her right or not?"
"Because I know who he is." Gabe said, "He's a douche bag."
"No he isn't!" I yelled as Gabe pulled into a driveway. "And don't talk anymore." I got out of the car and ran inside and up to my room. I closed my door behind me and locked it before jumping on my bed. Tears started to fall down my cheek, messing up m makeup even more.

I was Reborn as the Villainess but I will become a Great Sage
Nova Allandis, formerly known as Suna Lee, remembers her previous life and realizes her current life is as the villainess in a fantasy novel she once read. However, as Suna, she was the laziest person with no motivation, possibly attributed to the fact that she didn't go into a major that was her strongest suit. Now that she has a high affinity towards magic and wishes to go into it, will she be able to change her lazy self for the better, or will she go back to being lazy like the villainess in the novel? Can she become a Great Sage and live life happily this time? Note: This is not a "revenge of the villainess" novel, but rather a "rise to fame" novel. A/N: This is just an experimental novel and criticisms are much appreciated, but I'm extremely defensive of my own work and characters. If you are here to put down a novel, please remember, first of all, you are not paying anything to read this, and second of all, authors are humans too.
