《Kink // Luke Hemmings [COMPLETED]》-Chapter 33-

I could feel my heart rate increase as we inched closer to the arrivals gate. I began to receive the endless tweets from Luke once I got to the airport, stealing their wifi to see them. They were being retweeted, favourited and even quoted thousands of times which already made me panic.

I grinned at my phone, looking like a lunatic in the middle of the airport. Amy's eyes latched onto me, Robert dragging behind her with two suitcases. Amy had gotten my suitcase from the belt while I was too busy staring at my boyfriend's beautiful profile photo.

"You know if you got off your phone you could see him. He's on the other side of those doors." Amy sarcastically laughed at me, pressing the power button on my phone. I could feel my heart skip a beat as she addressed luke as 'him'. She was right, he was there. I just needed to move those goddamn legs that felt like they would collapse at any second. "Are you coming?" She asked me, arm linked with Robert a few steps in front of me. I took in a deep breath and nodded my head. Here we go.

I grabbed the handle of the suitcase Amy had left in front of me and followed them into the arrivals area. The automatic doors quickly parted with a squeak. Suddenly, a thousand flashes blinding me almost making me trip over my own feet. I was greeted with paparazzi taking photos and screaming questions at me. Why did they wait for me? I wasn't famous.

Amy rushed out of the way of the cameras, leaving me and other confused guests. I felt so bad for them. I couldn't see Luke anywhere so I began to internally freak out until I saw a little whiteboard with my name scribbled on it. The man holding it was dressed in all black with neat little sunglasses on. I fast-walked over to him, hoping Luke had sent him to me and it wasn't just a stalker trying to abduct me or anything.

"Hi Miss, Luke is here but he's waiting a little bit further away with security since things were already pretty crazy up here." He spoke in a sweet American accent. I smiled at him and nodded before following him around the airport. He kept one arm hovering around my back so he could guide me but make sure no paparazzi got to me. They followed us all the way to the exit.

"Do you know where my sister and her boyfriend went?" I asked awkwardly because just after saying it I remembered he didn't know what my sister looked like.

"Oh yeah, she ran down to the exit and I presume she'll be out there with Luke." He nodded as he spoke and we walked.

"Okay, thanks. Also, you can call me Gabbie." He just nodded in response and then we were at the doors to the exit.

"He's just there, Gabbie." He held his hand out to where Luke was stood with two security guards. He had his eyebrows scrunched up as he tapped away on his phone, not realising I was there. Just seeing him made my legs turn to jelly. I ran over to him, dragging my noisy suitcase with me. I probably looked like a moron.

He heard the squeaky noise of my suitcase and looked up from his phone confusedly but relaxed once he saw me. His lips turned up as a grin took over his face. I flung myself at him, letting go of the luggage before wrapping my arms around him. He chuckled into the roots of my hair, causing goosebumps to form on my skin.

I could hear the sound of clicks and see the flashes around us from the paparazzi but I didn't care. I wanted the world to see how much I loved Luke, even though it probably looked really awkward on camera.

"I love you," I mumbled into his chest which caused him to erupt into more holy laughter.

"Hi to you too." He leaned back slightly so he could see my face but his arms were still wrapped around me. I pouted and looked down sadly.

"You don't love me anymore." I joked in a sad, whiny voice.

"Oh, no no no, Princess." He began to kiss every inch of my face, from my forehead to my jawline. "I love you so much."

"Ew, you're a boy. Leave me alone." I said, forcing my voice to go high and I let go of him while trying to keep a straight face. I failed miserably and burst into laughter which Luke didn't approve of.

"Tut-tut. Daddy is gonna have to deal with this bad behaviour later..." He whispered into my ear, sending chills down my spine. "Come on, the boys want to see you." He said casually, straightening his back and grabbing my suitcase. I blinked rapidly because I had never seen Luke change character so quickly.

"Wait- what about my sister?" I asked, putting my hand on his arm to pause him.

"Dave took her to the second car already." He shrugged and intertwined his spare hand with mine. The three guys who were holding off the media quickly followed behind us as we travelled to the cars. They were black SUVs with tinted windows so you couldn't see in. They were the classic ones you see celebrities ride in and it made my heart flutter to actually be in one.

We ended up outside of a posh looking building where they had a giant sculpture of a fish in a fountain outside. I was only wearing leggings and an oversized hoodie so I felt out of place in the fancy hotel. Luke held onto my hand as we walked into the lobby, Amy, Robert and the security guards following us.

Our feet made a tapping noise as they hit the beautiful marble floor. Everything looked like it was made out of stone, each pillar carefully sculpted. We walked past the desk and straight to the elevator. I looked up at Luke with knotted eyebrows as he dragged me into the lift. I quickly glanced back at my sister before the doors shut. She was talking to the woman at the desk, probably getting a room.

Our room was just as nice as the rest of the hotel, covered in lavish decor from floor to ceiling. Everything was sparkly, the whole bathroom could blind you. A giant bed sat in the centre of the room, it was supposedly a king size but it looked more like a king and a half. There were a dozen pillows delicately placed against the headboard just to top off the fancy looking room.

I scoffed out of pure amazement.

"Luke...this room is..." I couldn't finish my own sentence because I felt like there were no words to describe that room.

"...something else?" He asked with a little smile. I nodded and sat down on the bed, quickly sinking into it like quicksand.

"I'm gonna owe you so much money after this trip," I laughed to myself, slightly nervous about paying so much money considering I barely earned enough money from selling photos to pay for my own apartment.

"You're kidding right?" He asked, sinking down next to me. I sent him a puzzled look followed by a serious shake of my head. "You don't have to pay me back. This is a five-star hotel, babe. You'd still be paying me back in three years time."

I knew what he was saying was true but I didn't like how he had implied I was broke. I earned my own money and I was proud of that, even if I didn't have a steady job.

"I have money, Luke," I argued, standing up and crossing my arms to face him. "I just need a little bit of time and then you'll have the money."

"Princess, it's okay. I'm not even paying to stay here, management deals with it all." He shrugged like it was no big deal...because it was no big deal to him. He could probably stop making music and going on tour and he would probably still be financially stable for many years. "Please don't make this into a big argument- okay?"

"Fine, but I'm paying you back." I shrugged like he had and began to walk away smugly when I was suddenly tackled to the bed playfully. His floppy hair messily shadowed his face as he hovered above me.

"You can't pay if it's my gift to you." He smirked at me, showing off his dimples.

"Dammnit." I groaned. "I guess I can still pay you back though, with kisses and...other things." I bit my lip awkwardly as I trailed off my sentence.

"That's a payment I will accept." He leaned down and roughly kissed me.

"Amy, can I talk to you?" Robert asked my sister while we all- Luke, Calum, Ashton, Michael, Robert, Amy and I- sat in a messy circle in the boys' dressing room backstage. Amy looked slightly concerned as she stood up and walked out with him.

"Okay- so we all know the plan for tonight?" Luke asked as soon as the door shut behind them.

"What?" I asked confusedly as the rest of the boys nodded excitedly. "Why am I being left out? That's not fair." I pouted like a child.

"Oh shit, I don't know if I should tell you..." Luke mumbled with a sorry look.

"Luke Hemmings, I will disown you if you don't tell me." I fought back with a stern expression. He looked to the boys for help and they just shrugged amusedly.

"Okay, do not tell Amy this." He started so I nodded for him to continue. "Robert asked us to play Marry You by Bruno Mars at the end of the concert-"

"-No fucking way." I squealed loudly as I playfully hit his shoulder.

"Keep your voice down, princess." He told me off but laughed with me, leaning into my shoulder as he did.

"He's gonna propose to her on stage." Calum finished for Luke. I put my hand to my mouth in shock. Who would have thought Amy would get married before me?

"I can't believe Amy is getting married before me." I thought out loud, immediately blushing after I said it. Luke looked at me with a small smile. The kind of smile like when you catch someone doing something really cute or when someone messes up their words but you don't want to correct them.

"What did you just say?" He asked, keeping the adorable smile on his face.

"She wants to marry you, Luke," Michael said with a wiggle of his eyebrows. I groaned and stuffed my face into a pillow, being overdramatic as always.

"Do you want to marry me? Is this a really shitty proposal?" He asked me.

"This isn't a proposal." I laughed into the pillow. "And anyway I want the guy to propose to me, I'm old-fashioned. I mean, I love that women are proposing too but It's not for me." I continued to dig myself into a hole with every word I said.

The door opened and Robert and Amy walked in with calm smiles on each of their faces. I wonder what they talked about.

"Hey, what are you guys talking about?" Robert asked, taking his original seat again next to Amy.

"Gabs was just proposing to Luke," Ashton smirked, giving me a side look as he spoke.

"I was not! I was just talking about how I wanted to be proposed to rather than me proposing." I avoided talking about Robert's plan for later that night.

"Luke, take notes. She's been planning her perfect marriage since she was able to write." Amy laughed at her own joke. I blushed and hugged the side of Luke because he brought me comfort even though I felt awkward and embarrassed. Everyone laughed at me, making my heart sink in my chest.

"Hey, I think it's cute. Where would you want to be proposed to?" Luke asked me while gently stroking my hair. He's adorable. I smiled to myself and thought about his question.

"Anywhere...as long as it's romantic. Okay, maybe I'm asking a bit too much."

"What do you class as romantic?"

"Well, if you- or you know whoever-" I corrected myself because I didn't want to make Luke feel like I was forcing him to propose or whatever. " was to propose to me in a house then I guess just something cute. Not expensive or fancy but cheesy. I wouldn't want it to be when we're drunk."

I slowly glanced up at Luke to see his reaction to my ramble. I expected to see a horrified look but instead, I saw him bite his lip as he stared at the carpet in deep thought. The rest of the group had gone into mini-conversations which made me relax a little bit more.

"I'm sorry, that was intense. I'm not forcing you to propose or anything-" I started to apologise to him.

"-I love you." He said and kissed me softly. I scrunched up my eyebrows in confusion but quickly let it go because he looked genuinely happy.

"5 minutes till you're up lads." A short, fat man yelled as he opened the door to the dressing room. The four boys began to yell and chant, standing up and high-fiving each other like lunatics. "Come on, side of the stage now." He grunted and walked away, expecting them to follow him. Luke ran over to me and pulled me up before dragging me out of the room with them.

Luke had asked me a few hours prior whether I wanted to be in a special booth in the audience or side of the stage. I decided that staying at the side would be best. Mostly because I didn't want the fans to see me just in case they started to shout at me with the same comments they tell me online.

They all took sips out of their plastic water bottles, bouncing on their feet out of anticipation. Luke was all over me and it made my heart jittery whenever he touched me. I heard the same voice of the fat man call out for them to go on stage but Luke wouldn't move his lips from mine. I lightly pushed him back to urge him on stage which made his lips briefly part mine before giving me a quick peck on the lips and walking on stage with the boys.

There's no way I can describe the atmosphere of the concert that would truly give it justice. There were already little screams before they were even on stage and the radio music was playing over the speakers whenever they heard a song or artist they liked. Then the dramatic strobe lights came on and the whole crowd was cheering and screaming. I had never understood why people liked performing, it made me anxious and I didn't like it at all. I had never performed in front of a crowd like that. A crowd of fans. It was beautiful to see how happy they were just to hear the music the boys provided.

Before I knew it, they were coming to the end of the show and I knew what that meant. Michael walked up to the mic, sweat falling from his forehead. The boys smirked at one another as they tried to wipe away the dampness from their own skin.

"So we're almost at the end of the show," Cries around the arena. "But before we finish we have a special request from someone backstage."

"My amazing girlfriend has brought her sister and her sister's boyfriend to the show today." Luke continued. They had definitely rehearsed this.

"Robert, her boyfriend, asked us to learn a special song for Amy," Ashton spoke into the mic with a clear voice. My own heart was racing for no reason other than Amy was my sister and I genuinely did want her to be happy. I prayed to god that she would say yes to him because the old Amy would have scoffed and walked away. But that was the old Amy, surely the new one is different.

"What's happening?" Amy asked me with an alarmed look on her face. Robert had vanished during the last song, clearly preparing himself. I shrugged my shoulders with a tight smile on my face.

"Gabbie, can you bring Amy on stage please?" Calum asked me and looked towards us. My eyes widened, ready to quickly decline, but one of the security guards pushed both Amy and me forwards. This was not part of the plan, at least not my plan. The crowd yelled as we walked out, good yells though. I suddenly realised why they wanted to perform. Their screams made the blood race around your body and you felt unstoppable. "Okay, keep a hold of her." He ordered.

They started to play Marry you by Bruno Mars and Amy immediately recognised the song. She raised a hand to her mouth and she tried to back away but I linked my arm with hers. Robert walked on stage from the other side in a white shirt and tie and a box gripped in his hands. I laughed lightly. The boys were pretty much his backup singers as he belted out the words. He wasn't the best singer but that just made everything better.

And then it happened. The most beautiful thing I had ever experienced. The crowd began to sing along and clap.

"Hey baby, I think I want to marry you..." He sang and got down on one knee as the boys continued to sing and look at us. They sang the 'say I do's as he pulled out the ring. I looked at her for a reaction and saw the tears falling down her cheeks. She paused for a moment making me hold my breath. She violently nodded resulting in everyone screaming out in cheers and celebration. Robert put the ring on her finger and quickly got up to kiss her. I finally let go of Amy and grinned. Luke held out his hand for me to take even though we were still on stage in front of thousands of fans. The song came to finish and Luke looked down at me with a loving look.

"You were amazing L.A! Thank you so much!" Michael screamed down the mic before we all walked off stage, the cries slowly fading away.

"My sister is engaged," I said softly with my eyebrows raised to Luke and he nodded with a laugh.

"Are you jealous?" He asked with that stupid smirk he always did. I made a 'pfft' noise and made a weird face but nodded sadly. "Don't worry, princess. It's coming."

"Wait, what?" I asked, perking my head up from leaning on his arm while we walked, but he was already racing in front of me to talk to the boys. Before I could go and question him any further Amy squealed into my ear and shoved her hand in front of my face so I could see the ring. I smiled warmly at her as she rambled on about how much she loved Robert, etc.

I wish I could tell you what she said, but all I could focus on was what Luke said. Did he mean it or was it just a throwaway comment? My head told me to calm down but my heart encouraged me to believe it was more than a spur of the moment. Did I even really want to get married? Amy was very young and already married, did I want that? Amy and Robert haven't even gone out that long.

The more and more I thought about it, the more I felt a million weights being thrust upon my shoulder. Stop thinking, Gabbie. Stop.
