HARRY’S POINT OF VIEW
CHAPTER 96
I followed Caleb a few blocks away from the beach where he led me into an apartment building. He rolled down his sleeves to cover his scars, and pulled out a key. He put the key in the lock and twisted the doorknob. We stepped inside and I feasted my eyes on a weird sight.
3 teenage girls watching my tour video and wearing One Direction apparel. Their eyes were glued to the TV so I couldn’t get a good look at their faces, but I knew they were beautiful. All of my fans are.
Caleb let the door go, and it slammed shut. “CALEB BE QUIET HARRY IS TALKING!” A girl, that I presumed to be his sister, yelled.
Caleb sighed, and then rushed into a different room. I stood motionless in the doorway and waited for something to happen. I contemplated leaving, but I decided that would be stupid when there are 3 Directioners right in front of me.
“Melissa look behind you!” Caleb yelled minutes later.
“You’re so annoying!” Melissa shouted back. She and her friends spun around and then screamed. To my surprise, they didn’t move, or even cry. They just sat there and stared at me.
“How long have you been there?” Melissa stuttered.

“10-15 minutes.” I spoke.
“CALEB I LOVE YOU!” She screamed.
Melissa and her friends picked themselves off of the couch and ran towards me. They enveloped me in one huge hug, and it wasn’t until Caleb pried them off of me, that they released me.
“How are you girls?” I asked.
“Wonderful now that you’re here!” Melissa chirped. Her two friends nodded their smiling heads up and down in agreement.
“Well can I sign anything for you, or take any pictures?” I offered.
“Yes please!” Melissa ran into a different room and came back with a few posters and a camera.
After I signed the posters, and posed for a few pictures, I said goodbye to the girls.
Little did I know that Caleb would be too much importance to me later on.
I stepped out of the apartment building and sat down on a bench. I pulled out my phone and called Angie. She answered on the first ring.
“I’m packed and ready to see you babe.” She spoke.
“I can’t wait.” I said back.
“Meet me in the airport in Paris tomorrow at 7 pm. Call me later if that doesn’t work.”
“I love you Angie.” I smiled.
“I know Harry, I know.”
“Not exactly the response I was looking for… But okay!”
“I’m messing. Bye Harry, I love you!”
“Love you too.”
I ended the call and smiled to myself. I looked over my right shoulder and saw the sun setting over the ocean. Quite beautiful really. I looked over my left shoulder and saw Angie standing there. Crying. I stood up and rushed to her side. “What’s wrong?” I asked.
“I thought you liked me.” She sobbed.
“I’m sorry. No, I’m in love with another girl…” I trailed off.

“What’s her name?” She demanded.
“Angie.” I said evenly.
“What?” She asked.
“No, uh that’s her name. The girl I love I mean.” I scratched the back of my neck and looked at the ground.
“Do you have a fetish for girls with that name, or is this ironic?” She cried harder.
“Irony.” I stated.
“I hate you Harry Styles.” She glared at me, but didn’t move. She stood a few inches away from me, and killed me with her eyes.
"Why?" I asked cautiously.
“Because you led me on to believe that you liked me. You don’t though.”
“I do like you! Just not that way.” I insisted.
“Bye bye Styles.” She spun on her heel and began walking away.
I took a few steps after her, but then I decided that she wasn’t worth it. Angie and Rosie are where my heart is. I turned around and walked back to where I was staying.
I packed all of my bags and got ready for a long long flight tomorrow. But I knew it would all be worth it. I would get to kiss the love of my life tomorrow.

Lost In Translation
If you're one to travel the roads, you may have heard of me. You may have heard my Names in the stories, the songs, and the whispers of the road. Perhaps you've even seen me during my travels, speaking to a bird of blue light, or on a city street, performing small acts for coin and repute. Or perhaps you may know me as the Skystrider, who walked with the wind. Or the Voiceless, a man of song without speech. You may know me as the Tutor, who taught the Lion of Summer how to fight, or the Traveler, who has walked all the roads of the earth. I am all of these things. And people have branded me a myth. But people don't understand what a myth is. They haven't heard the songs lost to our tongues, nor have they seen the things I've seen. They haven't gone to the places I've gone. My feet have walked the plains, the seas, and the clouds. I have spoken languages unspoken; tongues lost to time. I have sung to the earth, held the moon in my arms, and walked the roads that your heroes hesitate to even mention. I have outwitted Demons. I have danced with the Fae. My songs have been heard by lords of wind and ash, and my steps have echoed in the bellies of gargantuan beasts the likes of which you have never seen. These are what real myths are. And me? I'm no legend. I'm just the bard stupid enough to poke the real ones with a stick. Discord link here. [Disclaimer: Book 1 of this story will likely be published in KU by around the start of 2022, so please keep that in mind. Book 2 and onwards will continue here until they are published as well.]

But when an object of great and malevolent power promises to make good on all the promises the mages broke to him Mar is thrust into the world of magic. Mar will find that fate had something more than a life confined to the library planned for him after all. Authors Notes: I consider this to be a comming-of-age Sword and Sorcery story based mostly on the style of classic western fantasies. So if that's your thing then I encourage you to take a peek. Something I want to mention though is that the main character starts of pretty wimpy, and that might not be your thing. That being said, if you stick with him he's got a long way to grow. Also, while this version of the story is meant to be fully readable, more dicerning readers may want to wait until I move out of rough draft phase. There may be some inconsistancies with character and plot while I am still in the rough draft phase. I'm sorry for this, but this is my first web novel and from what I've read the best way to get a good novel out is to write write write, and then edit ruthlessly after you're finished with the book, so that's the plan I'm going to follow. Again, this is a rough draft. Everything you are reading is subject to change, including the name, title, and cover photo. This may no longer be the case once I've decided I know where this fiction is going and I have a reasonable understanding of the characters and their behavior. You're reading what comes off my keyboard as it's made, with very limited editing. There will be mistakes in the text. I do a quick spell check to take out the worst of the errors, but there will be some I miss. You can point them out in the comments if they are particularly confusing or glaring and I will try to fix them, however I am not overly concerned about minor errors as this is not the final draft by any means.

The End
There are five days left. The End is a miracle 10,000 years in the making that will free all from the confines of the world. The gods will soon be born. There is nothing that can be done about this. Not a webnovel, but a screenplay, submitted as my dissertation for my screenwriting degree. Sort of experimental. I have learned that I dislike writing screenplays, but all the same, I thought I'd post it anyway so it's at least worth something that way.
