It's rather underrated for a canon ship. It has a large fan base but I see a lot more people fussing over Lams than I do Hamliza. It's cute. It's historical. I don't really ship it but it's an alright ship not one of my favourites.

I don't like that their relationship is either lovey dovey or Alexander is just not there at all. Alexander did love Eliza. Despite having said himself that she wasn't as beautiful as her sister or matching on levels of intelligence. He wouldn't of married her if he hadn't felt something for her as her most striking feature 'were her eyes'.

Yes Alexander couldn't keep it in his trousers, yes he was a workaholic, yes he had a one track mind and boi did he suck at time-management but he loved her nonetheless.
