Author's note: I know pride and prejudice was published in 1813 but it's relevant to the story so we're gonna pretend that it was published in 1790
Also: this a fluff/suggestive chapter. I feel dirty just writing it

Angelica was giving a dramatic reading of the book Pride and Prejudice to her now 9 year old daughter, Margarita, and her 4 year old son, Phillip.
"Now children, this part of the story is very important, listen closely; "Are you too proud, Mr. Darcy? And tell me, would you consider pride to be a fault or a virtue?" For what reason do you think I read this quote aloud to you?" Angelica asked them
Margarita was laying on the floor, struggling to keep her eyes open "I don't know, mother, what I do know is that I'm dreadfully bored and I'd rather be doing anything else." She whined
"Peggy, deadfully is not a word. Do you mean dreadfully?" Angelica asked her
"Yes, it's the same word mother." Peggy II said
"Is not." Phillip argued
"Is too." Peggy replied
"IS NOT!" Phillip yelled
"IS! TOO!" Peggy shouted
"STOP IT! BOTH OF YOU! DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT TODAY'S LESSON IS ABOUT?! If you stop arguing you would know!" Angelica settled the argument as Peggy held her head down in shame and Phillip held back tears
"Now, that argument gave a very solid example of pride. 'What does pride have to do with this?' You think to yourself. Well I'll tell you. The reason I read you this quote was because in our world, men and are very prideful and men put legacy above all else. I am simply telling you that pride is a fault and not a virtue because more families have been torn apart by man's pride than war. To be frank, it is man's pride that starts the wars."

The two children recovered from their meltdown and looked at their mother in awe. They knew that their mother was very wise
"Oh my loves, I'm sorry for yelling at you. I just want you to learn something from our time together. Jane works very hard on these books and she's a dear friend of mine, I'd hate for her talents to go to waste. Now, come here children and give me a hug." Angelica smiled
The children ran to her and hugged her as two children smiled with glee
Alexander had come downstairs, looking worse than ever. His eye bags had gotten deeper, he had lost more weight, and he looked very sickly
Angelica looked at him with pity and the children left their mother's arms as they ran to their father and hugged him. It was very rare for Alexander to be downstairs so Angelica ran to him and hugged him as well
"Hello, my little hermit." Angelica called him playfully
"Hello, Angel. How are the children today?" He asked
"We're good, daddy! Mama taught us about pride and how it is more of a fault than a vertoo!" Phillip said in excitement
"Do you mean, virtue, Phillip?" Angelica asked
"Yes that." Phillip said
Alexander and Angelic laughed with a young Phillip getting red in the face
"Alright well, I must be heading upstairs and finishing my work now. I've grabbed a small snack and now I shall return." Alexander said as he turned to leave his children and his wife grabbed him
"Take a break, daddy!" Peggy II yelled
"Don't go daddy!" Phillip yelled
"Yes, please don't go daddy..." Angelica said seductively while having one hand around his neck and the other on his chest, going down, further, and further, and—

"Ack!" Alexander squawked when Angelica squeezed his rear ended with a smirk on her face
"Well I-I'm afraid I can't stay long children!" Alexander said in a haste as he hid behind a counter
"Why are you hiding daddy?" Peggy II asked innocently
"O-oh ho no reason! This is just a very nice counter!" Alexander said with sweat coming down his face and nervousness apparent in his voice
"Alright daddy, I guess we'll go play then. Come along, Phillip..." Peggy II and Phillip left and scurried off to their rooms respectively
Angelica watched them with a sigh, wondering how she was so lucky to have such a wonderful life. Her thoughts were interrupted by her husband grabbing her arm and pushing her against a wall
She blinked at him in shock
"Now what am I to do with you? I can't just let this go..." Alexander said with a husky voice
"Oh god..." Angelica knew it was going down
"Angel, Angel, Angel. You've been a bad girl lately. I'll have to punish you..."
(AN: im so sorry)
Angelica was excited now. Alexander pulled her close and kissed her as he began to take off her dress. He slid it down her shoulder, and began to kiss her neck. When he stopped, Angelica whines as he lifted her chin up with his index finger. She was panting and ready to continue
"Hm, maybe later. I have so much work to do after all!" Alexander smiled at her and patted her head as he dropped her and she slid down against the wall
"I'll get you back for this!" Angelica yelled at him
"I know you will, and I just can't wait!" Alexander winked at her and trudged upstairs
Angelica huffed bitterly as she pulled up her dress and made herself look decent
She yelled to him one more time "YOU KNOW, ITS YOUR PRIDE THAT WILL BE YOUR DOWNFALL! NO TIME IN BED WITH ME TONIGHT!"
She could hear things crashing and falling. Angelica heard Alexander yell "Oh God no! Why? WHYYYY?!" Dramatically and she fell to the floor laughing
When she got up, she went to upstairs check on her children, but they weren't in their rooms. Instead, she found them in her and Alexander's room sleeping together looking peaceful
"Oh my loves..." she tucked them in and let them sleep "look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now..."
