It was early spring, the sun was shining as you walked home for school. You were wearing a lose purple shirt and a black skirt with black vans. Your (h/l) (h/c) hair waving in the wind.
I was walking home from an exhausting day at school. My E.L.A teacher gave me an essay that was due on Monday. I had a test in every subject. I was just happy it was Friday. I would work on my assignments tomorrow. I just wanted to relax. Suddenly my (f/c) phone started buzzing in my pocket. I took it out and saw that it was my mother. I answered. "Hi Mom." "Hi sweetie how was school?" "It was exhausting!" She laughed. "So...I was wondering if you could babysit my bosses son Nate tonight?" "Mom! I just said my day was exhausting! What makes you think I want to babysit." I groaned in annoyance. "Come on sweetie it's just for a couple of hours plus he's only 6." "You told her I would already didn't you?" She didn't respond. "Ugh! Fine." "Thanks. I angrily hung up the phone and put it in your pocket. "We'll there goes my free night".
It was 6:00 you had to be there at 6:30. You where going to walk since it was only a few blocks away. You were in your room you decided you wanted to be more comfortable so you changed into black leggings, black leather combat boots, and a white and navy sweater. You then threw you hair up in a messy bun, and put on mascara. It was 6:25 "SHIT!!!" You yelled as you ran downstairs, said goodbye to your mom and ran out the door.
You made it to the house right on time. You were proud of yourself. The house was a two story. It had blue Siding and black shutters. It was the perfect house for a 3 person family. You walked on to the porch and rang the door bell. The door opened, and you were greeted by you mother's boss, Jennifer. She was in her late 30s, she had brown, wavy hair and hazel eyes. She was giving you a warm, welcoming smile. "Hi (y/n) so good to see you! How are you?" You smiled. "I'm fine thank you". "Come in, Come in". You walked into the house and noticed that it was the average suburban household. Living room, kitchen, dinning room, and bathroom on the first floor and there were two bathrooms upstairs along with an office and 3 bedrooms. She giddied you to the living room where you saw a little boy with brown hair and hazel eyes sitting on the floor coloring in a coloring book.

"Nate would you come here for a moment?" She was so calm, like she didn't have I thing to worry about. "(Y/n) this is Nate, Nate this is (y/n). And she will be babysitting you while mommy and daddy go out for a little bit." "Okay, but can she play with me and Jack?" Jack? You thought. " Of course she will sweetie." She knelt down and gave him a kiss on the forehead. You suddenly heard someone clear their throat. You turned to the direction it was coming from. You saw a man in the door way. He looked like he was around 5'8, he had short brown hair and brown eyes. "Hi honey this is (y/n)" He walked over to you and spoke. "Hi I'm Nick nice to meet you (y/n). His voice was so deep. You were going to be honest, this man creeped you out. You just shrugged it off and gave him a warm smile as he shakes you're hand. "So who's Jack." You spoke braking the awkward silence. "Oh Jack is Nate's imaginary friend. If he says anything about him just go with it. Jennifer said, as she looked at her watch."Well we should get going or we are going to be late. Have Nate in bed by 9:30. We'll be back around 10:30." "Okay have fun." "We will." Then they walked out the door.
