"He deserves to be in a safe environment!" Pepper yelled as Tony raged upstairs to his son's room. "He needs a parent who isn't constantly away! Or a parent that is there for him! You have a job, Tony, as Iron Man, you can die and with that Arc Reactor, it won't be long." Tony stopped outside Peter's room.
"I'll decide what best for Peter, you can either agree or leave it alone. Tell Natalia she can go home." Tony hung up, waiting outside of Peter's room. "Fuck I'm turning into my dad."
"I disagree, Sir." Jarvis walked towards his creator. "You sacrificing everything to keep him safe. You don't rest and eat just so you can keep working and keep an eye on him. You still spend time with him, maybe not as much as you'd like but you do take care of him. You said your father didn't spend that much time with you, barely spared you a glance. But you, Sir, you treat Peter like he is everything, you pay attion to what he is doing and you care about his wellbeing. You, Tony, are nothing like your father."
Tony sobbed and fell into Jarvis, the taller man held his creator. They would figure this out.

Tony laughed as Peter cuddled into his chest. "Night light!" Peter exclaimed as he tapped the new arc reactor, the one that wouldn't kill him. Tony sighed and nodded.
"Yeah, Pete. I'll be your nightlight." Peter cuddled even closer, holding on to him, spooked when yells could be heard from downstairs. Tony knew Jarvis was trying his best at keeping Pepper and Natalia calm, but he needed to confront them eventually.
He ignored them for now, knowing he was safe with Peter in his room with the door locked. "Daddy?" Tony hummed. " auntie mad?"

"Yeah, bud. She's a bit mad." Peter held on tightly to Tony, almost like he knew they wanted to take him away.
"Me?" Tony quickly shook his head, gently squeezing his son.
"No, never at you. They're mad at me." Peter frowned, clearly not liking that fact. "It's okay." Tony tried to reassure him.
"Love you." Peter hid his face again, hearing the yelling get louder downstairs. Tony smiled and kissed his head.
"I love you too." A small knock on the door made Tony and Peter jump, the two looked at each other before looking back at the door. Tony sighed, putting Peter down on the bed and covering him in a blanket before going to the door. Pepper and Natalia stood there with Jarvis behind him.
"We need to talk," Pepper spoke softly now and eyed Peter, who hid behind the blanket. Tony also turned to his son and nodded, letting Pepper in, leaving the other two outside. He joined Peter on the bed again, pressing him back into his chest. "We saw the lab." Pepper started. "We're guessing you fixed the Arc reactor?" Tony nodded, looking away from her.
"Get to the point Pep." She sighed and nodded.
"We want you to take a break and just be with Peter. We also want you to see a doctor or something, you can't have that forever. I worry about both of you. Just please do the right thing for him." Tony nodded again, looking down at the scared little boy in his lap. Guilt settled in his chest as rubbed the kids back, hoping to ease him a little.
"Just please take a break and keep Peter safe. Just think about it." Tony nodded and let her run her hand through Peter's hair before leaving.
Tony sighed.
