Summary- What has and will happen to Peter.
(Third Person P.O.V)
*7 hours before*
Peter grabs his suit and slips into it, ready to fight crime and help people.
"Bye dad. I'll see you later." Peter says, as he walks out of his room to see his dad.
Tony smiles when he sees Peter, and nods.
"Okay kiddo, stay safe yeah." Tony says, making Peter nod happily before leaving.
-
Peter looked around him, feeling the dread seep in. But he refused to show his fear.
It had been a trap, he thought someone needed help, but as soon as he got there he was surrounded, all of them had guns aimed at him.
He is fast and skilled, but there was no way he would be able to get out of this unscathed. Karen seemed to be able to sense his dread and alerted Tony, who was already on his way.
"Listen. We can talk this through." Peter says, his voice holding fake confidence.
One of the men scoff, before saying "Like that's gonna happen."
Before Peter has the chance to react the man raised their guns and began firing.
He felt pain rip through his stomach, chest, shoulder and arm. The pain was more than he had ever felt, and he had no strength to fight back.
Peters eyes blurred together, and all he could hear was ringing. But he could vaguely see a red and gold suit, and hear distant shouts and screams.
He felt his breath enter and leave his body, each breath agonising to do.
His eyes sight started to turn black as Tony ran towards him, every second that passed scaring him more and more.
Tony knew this wasn't good. He might have super healing, but he was shot so much, and has already lost so much blood.

He quickly picked him up and flew back to the tower.
*present time*
"Please don't leave me Petey." Tony whispers, holding his hand tighter.
The tube was still helping Peter breath, the mechanical breaths making his chest rise and fall in a rhythm. Bandages wrapped around him, and all stitched up.
The door opens, and Tony casts his tired eyes over to the person stood there.
Bruce.
His face is holding sadness as he looks to Tony then Peter, his eyes bloodshot and glassy.
"Bruce, please he- he has to be okay." Tony chokes out, looking to his kid in the process.
Bruce looks down, sadness and guilt eating away at him.
"Tony, i'm sorry. There's nothing else for us to do." Bruce says truthfully.
Tony stays quiet and looks back to his son.
-
A week has passed and nothing has changed, Peter hasn't gotten better. But he hasn't gotten worse, they were able to take the tube out, but he still isn't awake.
"Please kid, wake up now i need you." Tony pleads, wanting nothing more then to see his kid open his eyes.
Tony holds his hand and squeezes it, only for it to be squeezed back.
Tony's eyes snap up to see Peters eyes opening.
"Kid." He whispers in disbelief.
"Dad." He whispers back, looking to Tony.
"I missed you so much Petey, never do that to me again." Tony says, while lightly pulling him into a hug.
"I won't and i missed you to." Peter says while hugging back.
