I gripped the guitar in my hand. We were practicing our songs. The scars on the top of my fingers shined on the stage.

"Percy,do you wanna kick it up a notch?" Jason looked at me.

I snapped out of my own world. "Yeah Sorry. What song were we on?"

Jason sighed before Dean, our producer, walked in. "Quit for right now. We just got a good review from the best magazine in town." He grinned.

I shot up. "No way! I say we go get coffee in celebration." I truthfully didn't like coffee, i just needed excuse to get out.

Dean nodded. "Yeah sure. Be back in 30!"

I hurried out, walking outside quickly and jogging down the street until i ran into someone. I caught the person until i saw who it was.

"Annabeth." I smiled.

She looked up with a small smile.

"Hey Percy, we have to stop meeting like this."
