After lunch, Rafael and John left but John asked us if we wanted to join him and some of his friends for pub tonight and we readily agreed as we had nothing planned any ways.

I helped grandma with the dishes while Rex applied for some jobs in Seattle.

He told me how he needed to work as he wished to settle off campus and needed a car of his own to travel to school. He was clearly surprised when I told him that I worked at Hailee's for night shift sometimes and he seemed a bit uncomfortable at the idea of me being a bartender to drunk boys who want nothing else than to sleep with anyone they get.

He precisely quoted, "How obnoxious this sounds! I mean why a bartender? I know I am noone to say this but it's just stupid to me." I smiled nervously at his words and said how I needed that job desperately because the pay was good and I no longer wanted my grandma to work her ass off for me.

We spent the afternoon playing FIFA. No matter how terrible of a player I am, Rex was adamant on teaching me to score well and I am proud to say that after a few attempts I think I did good.

It was around 4:00 when both of us were extremely hungry. We decided to watch a movie and so I told him that I will make some popcorn and get some hot cheetos along.

He just smiled at me with his puppy eyes holding my hand not letting me go. "What?", I said blushing.

"Don't go", he said while he pulled me closer to him. At this his phone rang and he left my hand to get it from the table.

I laughed victoriously and got up from my seat. He looked at me with a defeated look and went towards the window to attend the call.

I took this as a sign to work on the popcorn and made my way towards the kitchen.

It was April's call. I felt selfish to not call her yesterday clearly ignoring the fact that she might be worried regarding the content of our last talk.

I thought for a good reason so that she feels less hurt before answering the call.

Hey dumbo. Where have you been? I left you so many voicemails which you have been completely ignoring not feeling the slightest of need to fill me up with the details.

I laughed at how impatient she was and finally answered.

Heya hothead. Take a deep breath before you literally choke on your own words.

I could literally feel that she was smiling at my words but straightened her tone before replying.

Get to the point Rex. Do you have any idea regarding how worried I was. If you wouldn't have answered this call I was literally planning to take the next flight to London.

I felt a pang of guilt in my heart. I sighed before answering.

Hey I am sorry okay? It's just that I got a bit busy after we sorted things between us. I just forgot to fill you up between all that drama and then the London tour I was occupied with.

I heard her squealing on the other side before she excitedly asked me.

So how was London Rex? I can't believe you saw the city that I have been wanting to since such a long time. And I am so happy that finally Rebekah and you are together. Can't wait to see you'll at campus. When are you returning by the way?

Uhmm... I haven't really talked to her about this. But I know I will have to since I can't miss school anymore. If we can arrange tickets for tomorrow then maybe we'll be in Seattle soon.

I waited for her to answer but I heard her moaning from the other side. I was confused as to what was she up to.

April? Are you there?

She chuckled a bit before awkwardly replying.

Okay Rex. I will talk to you later. Bubye. I miss you.

I was about to say something before she hung up the call. I put my phone in my pocket before turning around and finding Rebekah struggle with hundreds of movie options in front of her.

"Hey babe. Who was it?", she asked me while her eyes were still glued on the screen. I scratched my head with my index finger before replying, "Umm.. April. It was April."

She looked at me when she saw that I was still standing near the window watching the wall behind her. She got up from the bed and came towards me.

"What's up? Is everything all right?", she said while placing her palm on my cheek. "Ya I guess. I don't know I heard her moaning in between the call. I am just curious as to who he was and why is she hiding it from me when we never usually hide anything from each other", I said while looking in her blue eyes that somehow managed to make me calm.

She just smiled as if she knew something and took my hand taking me towards the bed. She took the remote in her hand and while rummaging the options she said,"It was Rey. He called me earlier today to ask us how we were doing. He then asked me as to what to gift a girl on a first official date. I teased him a bit before he revealed to me that he was talking about April. It's been days since they are seeing each other."

She then looked at me intently waiting for me to respond. I said nothing because to be honest I wasn't happy with it.

She scrunched her eyebrow clearly not understanding the reason behind my silence. "Do you think Rey is right for April? I mean I know he is good friend to you but it's just that I never saw him as a boyfriend material especially not for girls like April who love with all they have. I don't want him hooking up with her and then leaving her alone making her wonder that she wasn't enough."

She took my hands in hers before replying, "I have known Rey for such a long time and I know for a fact that he would never do that. He has never taken efforts for anyone before to actually take them on an actual date. I remember him saying how cliche he thought it was. But here he is today, asking me about a gift and he seemed pretty nervous. So don't worry. April won't get hurt and if Rey does anything stupid I will peel off his skin, okay?" I laughed at her last statement and before she could even realize I took the bowl of popcorn lying on the table and emptied it on her head.

She looked at me with a mischevious grin on her face before she took one of the pillows from her side and started hitting me with it. I grabbed one quickly from the side and got on the bed on my knees holding her with one hand and fighting with her by thrashing her with the pillow.

She protested hard and finally freed herself from my hold. We laughed and threw the pillows on each other giggling like kids.

Soon the pillows broke and there were white feathers flying throughout the room. I suddenly got up from the bed and took out my camera.

She smiled showing her perfect teeth while I captured the exquisite beauty she was. Once we were both out of breath, we just laid on the bed silently before we looked at each other and broke into a fit of laughter again.

"Look at the mess we have made",she said while looking around us. I chuckled a bit before I brought my hands to her neck and I swear I saw her pupils dilating.

I took the feather that was stuck there and blew it away from my fingers. She smiled at me before getting up from the bed.

"Take the broom and clean that section of the room", she said while pointing at the area near the window. "And what are you gonna do princess?", I asked her mockingly.

She eyed me once before taking her towel and making her way to the bathroom. "I need to take a bath as I am completely covered in cheese powder. All thanks to you. And once I am done taking a bath I will clean this side."

I was completely irritated as this was the third time I took a bath today and not to forget I still had my room to clean which wouldn't be easy. I was all ready to vent some anger out on him but clearly he didn't give me any chance.

When I entered the room after taking a bath, the room was all cleaned up and I have to say it looked better than before. There were new clean sheets on the bed and they were neatly spread on the mattress.

"Did you do all this?", I said to him while he sprawled on the bed like a lion claiming his territory. "No. I asked your grandma to clean it up", he said clearly mocking me again.

I ignored him and took hold of my phone before saying him, "We should get ready. It's already 8:00. We agreed to meet John for dinner first before joining his friends for the pub." He took a deep breath before saying, "I am tired. Can't we just stay home?"

I went towards him taking huge strides and tried my best to make him stand on his feet. "No. I am not turning John down. And any ways this is our last day at London so don't be a killjoy."

He looked at me with his mouth wide open and I knew what was it all about. "We are going to Seattle tomorrow?", he said still gaping at me.

"Umm... Yes. I heard you talking to April and I know how important it is for you to get back to school again. You came for me to London and there is nothing more that I could ask of you after that." He stood there just staring at me and this urged me to give him an explanation as to why did I lie when I already knew that it was April.

"Hey, I didn't mean to eavesdrop. So I just pretended that I didn't hear your conversation. But I am still sorry." He hugged me immediately and while placing a kiss on my head he said, "Thankyou for being so understanding. But there is clearly no obligation for you to come back to Seattle with me tomorrow itself. You could stay for a few days more if you want to. And as far as listening to the conversation with April goes, you are my girlfriend Becs. And there is nothing that needs to be hidden from you. So let's keep it that way. You don't need to apologize to me for that."

I looked at him still not pulling away from the hug and said, "I am coming with you. I have already booked the tickets and we are leaving tomorrow morning. I still haven't told grandma because I don't have the nerves to. She will be sad and I won't be able to see her crying when we leave." He hugged me tightly and said, "We will tell her before we leave for dinner and maybe we can come home early tonight to eat ice-cream with her."

I just nuzzled into him feeling my heartbeat coming back to normal.
