Brooke's POV:
"Class dismissed!" My teacher yells overtop the bell signaling the end of the school day. I slowly rise out of my seat, making no effort to hurry home. As I walk toward the bus, I place my earbuds in my ears and block out everything around me. Going home is the worst part of the day. For most, the school day couldn't go fast enough, but for me it protected me from the horrors of home that no one knows about. Not even Paige or my mom. Sitting in the back of the bus, no one notices me. I don't mind though. Life would be so much better if no one noticed me.

A Hero Returns
War raged on in the lands of Thyderalis, a continent within the world of Dunia. For a thousand years, two factions desperately fought for control: the Kingdom of Damore and the Draconic Empire. If left unchecked, an unseen chaos will be unleashed, bringing an end to all life. This was all disclosed to Aren Damoder - a once revered hero centuries ago - through a vision. Along with many companions and battles to come, Layette explores the idea of heroism and what it means to be a hero. Continuing on his quest, Aren will ultimately have to decide: sacrificing others for the sake of one or uphold his heroic beliefs.

The following story is about a person who was an average student who completed high school and was looking for a job but failed to get one. He was living with his sister and mother who was ill to get a job he struggled. But the fate of the whole world changes by the sudden rush of unfathomable presence from the sky exploded resulting in the opening of various portals with people gaining sudden power. The portals were high invaluable resource but also containing highly dangerous monsters depending on the rank of the portal. Our hero decides to earn a living using those portals but our hero faces dangers and unluckiness but the hero keeps on pushing forward putting his life on the line.

Abyssal Era
Planet earth seemed so very normal, but a strange dream heralded the mysteries that were to come. Follow alongside Alex, who soon gets transported against his will. Bloody battles and unseen creatures pave his way. His aptitude allows him to survive but not all do. Some may ask why the things had happened or why so many had to die in the tutorial. Yet, these questions became irrelevant as the very earth crumbles to dust. Now all the survivors fight for their survival in the abyss. Did the tutorial try to prepare them for this? Bloody battles become a norm, and striving onwards is the new goal in this harsh world. Alex fights and tries to help the people, only to lose it all. Authors Note: Abyssal Era is the first novel I´ve written that I find acceptable myself. Yet I keep learning with every new chapter. Please note that English is not my native language. The Plan
An infinite world couldn’t be real, but if it was, well this would happen. Imagine a world that isn’t covered in water, but an endless atmosphere. Plates of land, named “islands”, float and drift almost aimlessly. There is no sun, stars, roof, or floor; just boundless air in every direction. Light is generated from the movement of air flow. Magical and mystical powers keep islands floating and the world full of fresh entropy. Some of these floating islands drift upwards or downwards or any combination of volatile or patterned velocities. Air flow also follows the same characteristics of islands, which generates the light and heat. In a world with no horizon, the different inhabitants struggle. Beings calling them selves deities across the endless space are countless. If you were to fall off an island, you would inevitably hit another island; if you didn’t die from old age first. Many inhabitants don’t know the land further than their own eye sight or town they grew up in. Almost all inhabitants of islands have supernatural abilities, ranging in ability and skill. Magical abilities are kept individually; and mystical powers are borrowed. Islands float because the land is enchanted by either a magical or mystical crystal. Magical islands are known for vertical variance, while mystical islands are known for vertical stability. The islands rotate around focal points, known as 'the center'.
