another dream with her again.
it's been two months now.
i realized that...
i don't like her.
"hey, haerin?"
she hummed in response as she played with the flowers.
"what do you think about love?" i questioned her.
she gave me a look and laughed, "it's complicated.
"what do you mean?" i furrow my brows.
"love.
love is complicated."
"and... scary."
i sat next to her in the grass fields as she continued to explain what love meant to her.
"because, whenever we love someone... we would always expect them to love us back... but in reality, love isn't supposed to be like that."
she pursed her lips, "love meant caring for someone. love meant doing things for someone without asking for anything in return."
"but love could also be selfish.
people are selfish.
when they love someone,
they'd do anything for that person even if it already hurts them.
do you know why?" she turned to face me.
i tilt my head, "no... why?"
"because they are afraid of seeing the person they love with someone else. they become better for that person."
"no matter how bad a person could be...
love can always find a way to change them.
that is something i find beautiful about love."
she then chuckled bitterly,
"but still,
that person still won't love them back."
i frowned at her words, "ouch!"
she poked my cheek,
"love hurts."
i snickered and placed my hand on my chest,
"love does hurt."
"hey, lele?"
"hmm?"
i hum in response.
"do you believe in fate?"
i thought about it,
does fate even exist?
well...
i believe it does.
when it come to us.
i know it does.
i want it to exist for us.

i want to believe we are fated for each other.
if someone asks me what do i believe in...
that is what i believe.
that someday, fate would also bring us together.
"of course i do." i answer her.
she smiled at me,
"good."
i then felt her hand on top of mine as we slowly intertwined our fingers together.
"promise me something?" she looked at me as we walked back to the bridge.
i'm getting used to this.
i tilt my head, "what's that?"
"always believe in fate."
i chuckled and gave her a small nod,
"i'll always believe in fate."
"especially when it comes to us."
"i want to see you, haerin." i mumbled and hugged her.
haerin patted my back as i gave her a kiss on her forehead.
"you always see me, lele."
i pouted, "in my dreams!"
"you're silly, cross the bridge now." haerin laughed and pushed me towards the bridge.
i huff and pout at her. "you're discarding me!"
haerin threw a heart at me, "i'm loving you!"
and with that, i felt my heart beat faster.
i realized...
i don't just like her.
this isn't just puppy love.
i really love her.
and i want to see her badly.

The Eternal Seeker Saga
In a universe where Earth is nothing but a distant memory, and humanity is clawing its way back from a million years long interstellar dark age, Sarah Ciel-étoilé is but a humble mercenary. For 60 years, her crew of exiles has followed her onboard their stolen military gunship, the Eternal Seeker. But now, a threat like they have never seen before is rising. The Dominion, an intergalactic empire over a millenia old, is dying. Its catastrophic civil war almost brought it to total collapse, and it endures only through the strength of its navy. But that strength is waning. Throughout the Dominion's Protectorate, whispers of a revolution are spreading, and insurrections are flaring up, as a conspiracy set on casting down the Dominion and burning it to the ground set its plan into motion. Yet, behind all the chaos and the destruction, something far more sinister brews in the shadows, and it could change the face of the universe forever. This is the story of Sarah, and her mercenaries, during these troubled and dark times, as empires fall...and others rise. ----- Chapters will be posted every sunday, mostly at 23h30 CET (22h30 UTC), although I will probably experiment with different release times. Storm of the Elementals
The apocalypse was something that people were expecting to happen sooner or later, rising sea levels and everything. What our protagonist didn't expect was it to be from a system, let alone the fact that he missed it. Waking up as an elemental and being given frighteningly little info from a system that seemed a little off , stuck with 3 other eccentric individuals that he could almost swear are a bit dodgy, and not being quite sure he was human anymore, it was the start of a long day. It only got longer when he found out he was moved to a whole different world. ~ This is a slow burn story, focusing on the world and what happens if an eccentric historian gets transported in a world with systems and power that are not quite meant for him. ~ Some things you can expect: -No harem, god no. -Yes the protagonist is strong, no he isn't completely OP. -Other people who have been changed, he isn't the only special or chosen one who got transported or messed with. -It is sad to actually have to put this here, but the main character does shockingly have common sense.
