《dream › zhong chenle》07 | fate

"woah... isn't that a lot?" jisung questioned me as he stood behind me, gesturing over to my laptop.
he probably noticed the tabs.
numerous tabs about dreams and fate were open. we were currently at my house, since i really wanted to dig deeper into this whole...
dream thing that's been going on for months now.
both jaein and jisung agreed on sleeping over.
well, jisung was salty at first, since his girlfriend would be coming
but then i guess jaein smacked some sense into him.
we kept going over websites, blogs, books, and other things just to find if this dream meant something.
an hour passed and finally.
we found something.
technically jaein did, but
we're a team, right?
"it's a website called dream encounters."
jaein told me, "look! a ton of people have been experiencing the same thing as you."
"what does that mean?" jisung questioned as he raised a brow.
"dream encounters happens whenever you get your heart terribly broken. it could be about break up, friendship, loss, or the death of someone dear to you."
the last one caught my attention. i felt my heart ache.
i miss hana
i'm allowed to miss her, right?
but, am i also allowed to move on from her?
can i do that?
i promised to love her and only her...
but, now i'm not so sure anymore.
"yah, chenle, you're dozing off." jisung nudged me.
i shake my head, "i'm sorry, it's nothing."
jaein eyed me, "it's about hana, isn't it?"
i sighed and nodded. "does it show?"
jaein nodded as well, "don't ever feel guilty for catching feeling for someone new again, chenle."
"hana would understand if you started loving someone else."
i felt my cheeks heating up, "what? i didn't say anything about loving haerin!"

"defensive, but okay." jaein rolled her eyes.
jisung snickered, "whatever floats your boat, chenle."
i huffed and crossed my arms, "how would you know i love her?"
jisung raised both of his hands in the air, "you keep talking about her for like more than a month now!"
"so?" i lifted a brow.
"you're also so dedicated to this whole 'i'm gonna see her in person' thingy." he said, mocking my voice.
i glared at him, "i do not sound like that!"
"you do." he stuck a tongue out.
i rolled my eyes again, averting my attention elsewhere, "whatever."
meanwhile, jaein just shook her head at how childish we were arguing. "some people here have stated that the person in their dreams represented that special person you just lost..."
i gave her a look.
well,
haerin kinda does have some similarities with hana.
maybe that's explain the weird attraction i got when i first met her.
but no.
i don't think i love haerin just because she reminds me of hana.
that's just disrespectful to haerin.
i love haerin for who she is.
she makes me happy,
she makes me want to live life again happily,
she makes realize that life is worth living
she showed me the true meaning of love.
love
is
pain
i love her even if i can't see her in person.
i love her even if it's only in my dreams.
but that's why i'm doing this.
i'm going to find her.
and tell her...
i love her
in person.
i dream of her,
because we are fated to each other.
i dream of her,
because fate decided
to mend my broken heart
after what happened with hana
i'm bound to meet her.
i have to meet her.
because i love her,
i want to show her how much i love her even outside our dream land.
haerin's right,
when you're in love,
you do things just for that person
even if it seemed impossible to someone

The Menocht Loop
Ian Dunai thought he was powerless. He’s not alone: only a small percent of the population have high enough affinities to perform magic. But in the eyes of his father’s gifted family, Ian’s impotence is a disgrace—and the stain of his mother’s common blood. But on one fateful day, Ian awakens not in his college dorm but in the middle of the ocean on an old dinghy. Reaching land is the least of his problems as he encounters risen skeletons, tortured captives, and a shoreside city in the throes of contagion. Ian doesn’t last very long without magic. But death isn’t the end: Ian wakes back up on the dinghy and relives the day again...and again...and again. The Coming of Magic : A World in Chaos
Two brothers, far from home when disaster strikes the earth. Can they make it home? Will there be anything left to go home to? Who will they still be when they get there? Magic has come to earth and Jack and his brother Bryan have to traverse a postapocolyptic U.S.A. All while making friends, meeting old ones, adjusting to the new world and of course making some pretty serious enemies. --------------------------------- This is my first book so bare with me here! Any input helps a ton! I do take suggestions seriously. I have 30+ chapters written ahead of time but they still need some polishing and editing to post each one. Please point out any errors you find in the comments! I read every one and reply to most! Release schedule is not set in stone right now as my schedule is very hectic. I promise I will not drop this and try to post at least every other day. Every 3 Days max. Thanks again for taking the time to read my story! NOTE: THERE WILL BE COMBAT, BRUTALITY, MINOR GORE AND MINOR LANGUAGE. Also minor romantic situations. If it gets out of hand I'll add the tags for it. 11/30/17 I just updated some middle chapters. There were some bad spelling and grammar mistakes. In my defense I posted those chapters on my honeymoon lol. It should flow better now. I know the prologue is still troublesome but give it a shot beyond that. It gets much better. 12/5/17 I have been updating some of the earlier chapters. Nothing canon changing but it’s fleshed out a bit and flows better. Also fixed some glaring mistakes.

Blaze
The story of a fire elemental's life in a world dominated by mages. He will have to learn how to manage betrayals, treachery, and maybe even love as he goes on adventures to find a meaning to it all. From dark, humble beginnings he will rise... or fall, devastating amounts in his journey across the world. Hello, Author here! I am, unfortunately, rather terrible at coming up with descriptions that seem to have the right amount of decorum and yet actually serve their function of adequately describing the story, so here's the coursenotes. - The story follows a fire elemental. (As you can tell from that, it is heavily besed on fantasy with mages and the like. Technology will not feature prominently) -As mentioned in the tags, this will have game-like aspects. (E.G. levels, stats. I will be trying to put my own twist on this notion however, so bear with me if the premise intrests you but you despise LitRpg) -It'll get rather dark, but not devastatingly so. (I'm trying to write a more complex story so it will have its dark moments, the prologue being one of them. Rest assured the whole story will not be this dark, though I'll make sure that no-one is a saint either) -The protagonist/protagonists will not be a Mary-Sue. (The plural will be understood when I'm further into the story. They also won't be impossiby unlikeable such as those in many Light novels.) -There is no prophecy (Anyone who says there is, is lying, trust me.)

Beyond Evolution
Bam! Truck-kun, wtf?! I didn’t do anything wrong! Wait, are you god? I get to reincarnate in a fantasy world? I will even have super powers? With this will I finally be able to do all I want?! I will become cool, right? The whole universe will be within my grasp! Thank you, Truck-kun! I will never forget you. Wait, what?… Truck-kun… Screw you! ***** Disclaimer: All materials used in the cover are royalty-freeThis novel is not written with the intent to earn money and therefore a strict release schedule does not apply. I will try to upload the first 7 chapters with the regularity of one chapter every three days, after that the schedule is likely to change to one chapter per week. This would also entail that I will not be putting too much effort into writing this though I will attempt to maintain a decent quality. There will likely be no editing on my part, frankly, I don’t have too much time for this, but we’ll see how it goes.
