《Languor || Zhong Chenle》It Hurts

"Your face is phenomenal."
"You know it," i said to the now blushing boy.
Chenle said with little to no juncture between his words, completely flustered.
I coo, "You look like a tomato now."
"A phenomenal looking tomato."
I chuckled loudly at the sight in front of me. Chenle starts to tidy up his things, almost leaving because he couldn't handle the burning feelings on his face.
"How are you this flustered?" I said, teasing him more than i should've.
He muttered.
Chenle lift his laptop with his arm and carry them away with his noticeably tensed body.
"Where are you going, handsome?" I teased again.
He walks out and started leaping the stairs two level each time. Chenle's face covered with his other hand, masking his faded tint. I happily follow behind him, humming at the thought that i made this boy flustered.
"Hi Haechan," i walk up to Haechan that is far too shocked after he saw Chenle blushing.
"How the hell did you make that beast flustered?" He said, diving more into disgusted phase than shocked.
I chuckled.
"What if you ask that to him?" I answered.
"Yeah, then i would be a dead meat," Haechan responded, still not over the fact that he just saw Chenle blushed.
Chenle is almost at the end of the hallway when i run to catch up to him. My ankle made a loud cracking sound when i stopped beside him. Pain clutched my poor ankle forcing me to roll myself on the ground.
"Ah, it hurts," i said pathetically.
He said.
Chenle starts to walk away presumably towards the living room when the pain on my ankle gets worse. The inside of my ankle feels like its being stabbed with a nail. I let out a small cry when i try to straighten my legs out.

Not wanting to disturb Chenle i grab the wall to support my body. I try to roll my ankle around only to be attacked with a worse news. A few whimper slip out of my lips when i feel the tip of my eyes burning.
It hurts.
I usually can bear pain especially after Chenle trained me but the pain on my ankle is giving me a whiplash in the worst way possible.
Chenle's eyes widen when he saw me crying, my body pressed against the wall and my hurting ankle lifted up.
He runs to the living room and comes back a few seconds later with a stool. It made a loud thud when Chenle hurriedly put it beside me. His strong hands grips my arms to help me sit.
"Sorry, it hurts so bad," i cry to the now kneeling boy.
He gently lift my hurting ankle and fold the ends of my black jeans. A purple patch is present on it meaning it was already hurting since that incident. Chenle looks up at me, possibly checking if i am still crying, which i am.
Chenle shouted.
There is a few moments of silence. Hrvy is nowhere to be seen. Chenle curses under his breath and starts stomping away.
" I shouted.
I waited a few moments.
i cursed when the girl's cry got a bit louder.
My legs move itself, running to the living room to reach the first aid kit. I take the whole pack and move my way to the kitchen to grab and ice pack. It took longer than i expected. Curse this big house.
Chenle is kneeling in front of Xiao Yue like he was before. His left hand placing the ice pack on Xiao Yue's ankle. The girl winced when Chenle placed it without warning.

Chenle said.
Unfortunately the girl is busy crying and holding above her ankle to hear what Chenle commanded. It doesn't last long until he grabs her hands and put it on the ice pack which is more effective than words right now.
Chenle quickly open the red bag with a big white plus symbol on top that he carried from the living room. Instead of a bunch of medical kits his eyes meets some Nintendo Switches instead.
He shrieked angrily.
Haechan was previously ordered to store the Nintendo Switches by Chenle but he made a mistake by using a bag that looks like a first aid kit.
Chenle doesn't know what the first aid kit bag in this house looks like since Hrvy always brings a tray of the kits everytime Chenle got hurt.
Haechan came running before Chenle shoves his body to the wall. His finger pointing directly on the other boy's face and quickly move it at the bag filled with the electronics. A rush of fear creeps on Haechan's face.
Haechan storms to fetch the first aid kit.
"S-sorry, i'm so sorry Chenle," Xiao Yue said by reflex when she realized what happened.
Chenle looks at the girl. Her eyes is still filled to the brim. Something is pooling inside his chest. It almost pours out of his ticked expression.
The girl pressed her eyes shut, expecting to be shouted or scolded at by Chenle only to feel her hair ruffled.
I feel my hair being ruffled. I look up with my teary eyes to see Chenle's hand still on top of my head.
"Sorry," i repeated.
Chenle's eyes suddenly widens. He snatch his hand that was ruffling my hair. He coughs and looks away.
Chenle said.
I nod. That was his way to tell me to be careful next time and i'm grateful he said so.
Haechan comes running for the second time and says,
"H-here is the kit, i'm sorry-"
Chenle shutted him off.
Haechan walks away heavily, his shoulders slumped down almost level to his chest.

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5.
