Taehyung was only twelve when he faced the harsh world. One night he was sleeping peacefully on his comfy bed, hugging his teddy bear plushie, only to wake up with reality drowning upon him. His parents were dead. They had went on a date the previous night, and Taehyung being the good boy he was had went to bed early.
The neighbors had came screaming in his house. He remembers how the neighbors had barged in, how instead of waking up to his mother's sweet voice he woke up to them whispering. Some showed him pity, some had just stared at him.
The neighbors barging in were same as how the police had barged in, in his apartment, calling him a prime suspect, arresting him.
The poor boy had been taken in by his aunt. His beautiful sweet aunt, he thought. But how wrong he was. She was nothing like that. It was all a façade. She made him work at the mere age of twelve. She would beat him, hurt him, threaten him and what not. He doesn't remember having any good memories with his aunt.
He got bullied in school. He was known as the delicate boy, who couldn't even stand up for himself. He had a fucked up life. He always considered himself as a burden.
Though it was all before Jimin walked in his life. Jimin was the best person he had ever met in his life. Jimin was his superhero, his bestfriend, his advisor, his partner in crime and apparently also the one whose brother got killed.
Right the officer asked a question!
What was that? Does he remembers, no.
"Can you answer Kim Taehyung? Where were you yesterday night?"
The officer's gaze was sharp on him. It sent shivers down Taehyung's spine. The boy felt his throat die down at the question. To anyone it could have been a simple question but for Taehyung it was not.

Yesterday night he was with Jinyoung. Not the whole night, just for an hour or something. But that doesn't mean he killed him, right? Of course it doesn't. When he left Jinyoung's place, the other bid him a goodbye. He was obviously all good yesterday. Then what happened so suddenly?
"I-I was with Jinyoung."
"Hmm. How did you kill him?"
Taehyung's ears perked at the question. He was very clear before. He had said that he didn't kill anyone. The innocent looking boy, a cheerful person, can he kill anyone? No, he can't. And why would he even? It was not like he will sit and eat popcorn in the house if had killed someone.
"I told you, I never killed anyone."
"Okay, Mr.Kim Taehyung. Tell me why did you meet Jinyoung yesterday?"
"He asked me to." Was a simple reply from the boy. He wasn't lying. He didn't met Jinyoung intentionally. He was forced to. If it was in his hands he would have never wanted to see Jinyoung's face, but he had to meet him. Why one may ask. Because Jinyoung was blackmailing him. And also he was Taehyung's ex.
"Hmm." The officer was calm. No change was seen on his face. His eyes still held that sharp gaze. He looked intimidating. Taehyung wondered if the officer always had this look on. He wondered if he would have also looked this intimidating if he had become an officer.

"So what do you think?" Namjoon asked, a cup of coffee in his hands.
"About the kid?" Jungkook raised his eyebrows.
"Nah, about my sex life. Obviously, JK about the kid." Namjoon made a obvious face making Jungkook grimace at his boring comeback.
"Your sex life is disastrous, just like you. And the kid seems to zone out. A lot."

"Yeah, I saw that."
Namjoon was Jungkook's best buddy. Ever since Jungkook had started working as an officer, Namjoon and him were always together. Some even thought both of them were brothers. And to Jungkook, Namjoon was his brother figure and his inspiration. They both had an amazing friendly relationship from the start.
Presently, Jungkook had decided to take a short break from the interrogation. The accused was only a kid, five years younger than him. He didn't wanted to traumatize the boy, so he stopped.
The boy, Kim Taehyung, didn't look like he could kill even a fly. He had that innocent look. However in his job he was taught not to trust anyone easily. Also, you should never judge a book by it's cover. This boy did look innocent but who knows he might be an actual killer.
You always hide your inner demons from the world.
He took a sip of the bittersweet drink. The case wasn't as easy as he thought it would be. In his five years of his career he had solved many cases. Because of his hard work, he had became a chief officer in his young age. And this was his first case where Namjoon would be working under him as an assistant, so he wanted to prove himself by solving this case.
"Any updates regarding the CCTV footage?" Jungkook asked as he threw the now empty plastic cup.
"Yeah, Kwon said he'll inform soon." Jungkook nooded at the older's word.
This case is gonna fuck his mind and he was sure about it. Don't get him wrong, he loved his job. It was just stressing. Why would a college kid murder someone? Well there are many reasons as to why. But he didn't assume. His works was based on more evidence and less assumptions.
"What about the autopsy reports?" Jungkook was standing in front of the door now, which will lead to the interrogation room.
"They'll be here by..." Namjoon looked at his wrist watch, "....8 pm. So, more six hours."
Jungkook nodded at the older and sauntered towards the room.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
