《Theirs》Chapter 44

Heads up! This chapter has a LOT of images. Sorry about that..
...
"Why do we have to wear this again?" I asked in annoyance because this outfit looked mad uncomfortable.
"Because, despite us hating the living shit out of the horde's stupid leaders, we still like to respect their tradition. Dragons before them we actually nice." Draco answered as he glared at his outfit.
"This is one of their most worn clothing, except it's supposed to be all white. It's the horde's main color. Like how black and gold is ours." Tharion explained.
"But we don't have to abide to all of their rules, which is why we modified it into what you see right now." Draco said with a smirk.
"If it was me, I wouldn't abide to any of their rules. But I get what you mean." I said and begrudgingly started to put the torture device on.
"You're not the only one who thinks like that. You'll see a lot of dragons with very little white or no white at all on them. And those with nothing white on them tend to come in their own clothes too." Tharion explained as he effortlessly put his clothes on.
"Help. I'm stuck." I whined halfway through wearing the stupid outfit.
Both of them chuckled and moved close to me so they could help. And after some more struggling, I was finally dressed.
"Ignoring the uncomfortable material, it actually looks good." I said as I looked at our reflections in the mirror.
----------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------
"And it'll keep us warm because their castle is literally right on top of a fucking mountain." Draco grumbled in annoyance.
"What?! Really?!" I said in surprise.
"It used to be inside the mountain like ours, but it's not anymore. There is still a castle inside it, but it's abandoned. They probably use it just for emergencies now." Tharion explained.
"But aren't they more exposed now with their new castle? It's better if they'd stayed at the old one." I said in confusion.
Jeez... Just how stuck up and proud can a person be??
"They honestly don't care. But luckily, their location is one of the most secluded locations on Earth. Even if humans end up finding it, the wild surrounding only the base of the mountain is extremely dangerous." Draco answered.
"Not to mention when you start going up the mountain." Tharion added making me shudder slightly.
So basically, we'd be free food with an 'eat me' sigh on our backs. Nice...
"But it's almost impossible to climb the mountain without wings so humans never even stood a chance against them." Draco said and booped my nose.

I glared at him because now my nose itched and I felt like I wanted to sneeze but couldn't, making my eyes water.
"We should get going now. Blaze and Kayda are already at the portal." Tharion said as he started going down the stairs.
Draco and I were right behind him.
...
"You've got to be kidding me?" I said with wide eyes. "There's no fucking way I'm going into that hell hole." I quickly added.
"Relax. You won't feel a thing." Blaze said with a chuckle.
"Yeah right. I feel like I'm staring death in the eyes and you say I won't feel a thing. I find that very hard to believe with this monstrosity in front of me." I said as I continue to stare at the dark abyss in front of me.
----------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------
Yeah no. I'd still like to live.
"It'll literally take us a second to get there." Kayda tried to coax me.
"Exactly." Tharion confirmed.
I looked at them skeptically.
"If you lied to me and it take longer than a fucking second, prepare yourselves." I threatened pointing a finger at them.
"Although it'll feel like a second to us, a few hours will actually pass because the timezones between our hord and this fucking Neverland. But don't worry. It really will feel like a second." Draco explained.
"I hope so because you four will be at the receiving end of my wrath." I grumbled as I slowly approached the portal.
They were literally one step in, but I was the one who was currently holding us back.
"Hurry up. The sooner we get there, the faster we'll start and then finish. I can't handle these clothes for too long." Kayda groaned as she urged me with her hands.
Just like the three of us, Blaze and Kayda were also in similar outfits.
----------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------
Once I was close enough, she grabbed my hand out of nowhere and pulled me without a single warning inside the black hole.
"Kay-"
Something similar to a gust of wind went around me, making me close my eyes for a second. Then I could feel the air around me change and when I opened my eyes, I couldn't help but gasp at the sight in front of me.
"Holly shit!" I whisper-yelled in astonishment as I continued to look at the ginormous castle in front of me.
----------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------
"They live here and humans still haven't found them?!" I said as I continued to gap at the breathtaking castle.
"Surprisingly." Blaze said.
Then I noticed the blue sky.

"So this is what you meant when you said it actually takes a few hours to get here." I said in understanding because it was a little before the sunrise when we walked into the portal.
"Exactly. Thankfully we don't have to leave early, because our portal needs to recharge." Kayda said as she slowly headed towards the gate entrance.
And once we walked through the gate, I couldn't help but to grab Tharion and Draco by their arms because we were suddenly surrounded by so many people. Or dragons if you will.
"Don't worry. You're perfectly safe." Draco whispered as Tharion gently rubbed my hand.
But I couldn't calm down one bit. Especially when almost everyone was staring at me either curiously or with a glare the moment we walked in.
----------------------------------------------------
(A/N: Here are some of the dragons. Comment your favorite)
----------------------------------------------------
I feel like I'm an exhibit piece or something...
Then I saw one couple approaching us. They wore rustic colored outfits which were nowhere near similar to ours.
(A/N: For anyone wondering, it's the third couple in the first row)
"Well if it isn't the Lombardi fam." The man said with a big smile as he slowly pulled my mates and Blaze in a bro hug.
Kayda pulled the woman in a hug as she squealed about something. I noticed the said woman eyeing me and when I looked at her she just gave me a smile.
"Good to see you too Spikes." Draco said with a grin as Tharion nodded his head in agreement.
So they're friends?
"And who's this pretty little thing?" The man, Spikes, asked with a smirk as he took my hand and kissed the back of it.
Ugh...
"I'm not a thing, thank you very much." I said in annoyance as I pulled my hand away.
Spikes looked surprised for a second, but then a big smirk stretched across his face.
"She's a feisty one, isn't she?" He teased, earning a glare from me.
"She sure is." Draco said with a chuckle making me move my glare on him.
"This is Katherine. She's our mate." Tharion introduced making Spikes' eyes widened.
I heard a few gasps around us and only then did I notice that a lot of dragons were actually watching our interaction.
"Are you serious?" Spikes asked as he continued to look at me in surprise.
"Very. We found her a few months ago." Tharion answered as he looked at me and gave me a gentle smile.
And just like that, all my annoyance was gone in a blink of an eye.
"My, my. So you're finally mated. I thought it would never happen." Spikes joked earning a few grumbles from my mates.
"Thanks for having so much fate in us." Draco grumbled making the man chuckle.
"Oh. Incoming." Spikes suddenly announced and not a second after he said that, Kayda dashed off to somewhere.
"Niran!" She squealed excitedly as she approached a couple.
The couple looked at her and immediately greeted her with hugs. I also noticed that their outfits were not that similar to ours.
----------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------
"Who's that?" I asked as I looked at Kayda who couldn't contain her excitement while she talked with the couple.
The guy looked like he was smiling at her as he caressed her hair, but I couldn't really tell because half of his face was covered with a scarf. And the woman next to him had a veil covering half of her face too.
"Niran Hale. We used to be very close a few years ago. That's why Kayda's talking with them." Draco answered in a weird tone.
"Used to?" I said in confusion as I noticed his sudden change of mode.
"We'll explain when we return home." Tharion said softly and I decided to not ask any more questions.
It looks like it's a sensitive subject.
I looked at Kayda again and noticed this Niran guy looking at our direction. I didn't miss the slight glare he sent to my mates.
What's his problem?
Then his eyes focused on me, making me flinch slightly. Goosebumps ran all over my body and I tried hard not to shudder. Luckily, he quickly moved his gaze back to Kayda, making me release a breath I didn't even know I was holding.
He's something alright.
I moved closer to Tharion and put his arm around my shoulders for some comfort. Of course, that didn't go unnoticed by my mates because their attention was on me almost instantly.
"What's wrong?" Draco asked softly as Tharion gently rubbed my shoulder.
I opened my mouth to answer but was interrupted by a door being loudly opened. Then I heard steps and a couple emerged on the balcony above us.
"Welcome everyone."
...
Also, can we take a moment to acknowledge the fact that we already have over 17k views? I still can't believe my eyes (๏_๏)
This chapy is a bit longer than usual because I got carried away while writing and later didn't know how to make
