《Trolls World Tour: Forever My Queen》Bonus Chapter: Under Attack
Advertisement
Upon request, I have decided to write this bonus chapter, which will tell you what went down the day Barb attacked Techno Reef.
This chapter will be told in Titus' point of view.
By the way, I went back into the book and changed a few things, with one of them being the color of Roxy's headphones. I realized that I mentioned these once, and then never again, so I decided to switch up the color in order to make it more soul-crushing, cause that's just what I do.
Anyways, here we go!
———
Not a day goes by when I don't think about her. I yearn to hold her in my arms again; to dance and sing with her. I told her to wait for me, but every time I tried to travel to Volcano Rock City to bring her back home...I'd get scared and turn back.
Some husband I turned out to be...
I had a son to take care of, and a kingdom to rule...well, I used to rule this kingdom. Today, I passed my crown on to my son, the new king of Techno Reef: Trollex.
For you see, today was his coronation day. I told him that something big was going to happen today that would change his life forever. I mean, I reunited with his mother on my coronation day, so who knew what'll happen on his.
While everybody was preparing for Trollex's first rave as king, I sat in my bedroom and stared at the broken pieces of his mother's crown. A few days after she was taken, I went back to the beach and collected every last piece of it. I kept them in a box, and have often thought about putting it back together, but...
I felt like doing so would only make my heart hurt even more...
I even went the extra mile to make sure her violin stayed safe and didn't get damaged. I kept it in an airtight bubble, also in my room, and that's where it's stayed for twenty years...
Twenty years...she hasn't played it for so long...I wonder if she were to hold it now...would she even remember how to play it?...
My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on my door. It was Trollex.
"Dad? You in there?" he asked from the other side of the door. I sighed.
"Yes..."
"Can I come in?"
"Of course..."
I heard him slowly open the door. "What are you- oh..." He recognized the pieces of the crown in my hands, and who they belonged to...yet her face had been erased from his mind, and just like the crown, his memories of her were also in pieces...
"You're holding mom's crown again, huh..." he swam over and sat down next to me. I nodded slowly.
"You...never really told me much about her...what was she like?..." he asked. I could already feel a lump beginning to form in my throat. I've tried many times to tell him about her, but every time I tried, I broke down in tears.
"She's...difficult to describe...you'd have to get to know her in order to fully understand who and what she is..." I said. "But...if I had to describe her...then..." I tightened my grip around the crown pieces and chuckled to myself.

An image of her face and that gorgeous smile of hers resurfaced to the top of my brain, which brought tears to my eyes.
"She was talented...beautiful...and overall...extraordinary..." I choked out those words as my tears floated up to the ceiling and mixed with the ocean water. Trollex smiled at me and tried his best to wipe my tears away.
"She sounds fantastic, dad..." he said. I put my hands on his shoulders and stared at him. He had his mother's vibrant, green eyes...
"She'd be so proud of you..." I whispered.
"I know, dad. You tell me every day!" he replied. Then, he got up and started making his way towards the door.
"Well, I'm about to start the rave! Are you coming?" he asked me. I quickly stood up and placed Roxy's broken crown back in its box.
"Oh! Of course! But, before I forget..." I reached under my bed and pulled out another box. This one was wrapped in seaweed. "I got you a little something for your first rave! They've been in our family for generations. They belonged to your grandfather, then me, then I gave them to your mother the day before she...she..." I couldn't even finish the sentence as I felt a lump form in my throat.
Trollex swam back over to me. "Hey...if you don't want to let go of whatever is in that box, then you don't have to. I hate seeing you this upset, dad...you don't have to give this up..."
I shook my head. "No...she'd want you to have this..." I mumbled. "Here..." I held the box out to him, and he reluctantly took it.
Upon unwrapping it, his eyes lit up like stars. In the box, was a pair of purple and pink headphones. He quickly took them out and placed them on the sides of his head, smiling from ear to ear.
"I love them!" he squealed gleefully. "Thanks, dad!"
"It's no problem, son. I'm glad you like them!" Then, I grabbed his hand and led him out of the room.
"Now let's go show those trolls how King Trollex throws a party!"
------
The rave started off fantastic! Our people, of course, loved Trollex the moment he started up the music! I had taught him everything he needed to know about the DJ booth and how to really pump up the crowd, so instead of swimming in place beside him, I stayed behind the booth and listened to the music with my eyes closed.
I remember what I was thinking about the moment before everything went wrong...
The day I first met her...the day happened so long ago, yet it felt like it only happened yesterday. My mind was racing through the events of that day like a scene out of a movie...
That was when the music stopped.
I opened my eyes, and I could heard the audience groaning in response. Confused, I swam up to Trollex, who was staring out towards the open water with a perplexed look on his face.
"Hey! Why'd you stop?" I asked him.
Without a word, he pointed out at the open waters. Praying that it wasn't a shark, I allowed my eyes to trail off to where he was pointing...and I froze. In that moment, I didn't know whether to be relieved that it wasn't a shark...or terrified that I knew exactly what it was. There, just barely visible in the murky sea water, was an all too familiar shape. The outline of an angler submarine swam closer and closer to the reef with every passing second. I was so desperate to see Roxanne again that I couldn't control myself and started swimming towards it.

"Dad! Get back here!"
"Roxy?..." I mumbled under my breath. I could feel the techno trolls' worried gazes as I swam past them. I probably sounded crazy to them. I probably looked crazy, too.
By the time I had made my way to the back of the crowd, Trollex had caught up to me and grabbed my arm, preventing me from going any further.
"Dad, stop! I'm the king now. Let me take care of this."
He swam ahead of me and hovered in the water as the angler sub came to a stop only a few feet away from him. I could tell he was a bit frightened, but he wasn't going to let it show on his face. Instead, he puffed out his chest confidently and curled his hands into fists at his sides.
Then, the angler sub's mouth unzipped, and a muddy-red colored rock troll with a bright red mohawk stepped forward. She had a guitar in her hands and a smile on her face.
"Hey! There he is!" the troll exclaimed. "Prince Trollex of the techno trolls, right?"
"It's King Trollex, actually..." he corrected. I saw B.D. swim up next to him out of curiousity. "Who's asking?"
"Queen Barb! Of the hard rock trolls?"
Trollex shrugged. "Never heard of you...sorry."
"Well, now you have."
"Why are you here?" Trollex asked. "If you couldn't already tell, we were in the middle of-"
"I'm here to take your string, bro!" Barb interrupted. All the techno trolls began to whisper amongst each other, whereas I was tired of staying quiet.
"No way!" I shouted as I swam up next to Trollex. "If we lose our string, we lose our music!" Roxy would never forgive me if I let her take it from us! She loved techno music...
Barb threw her head back and laughed. "Oh...You mean your bleeps and bloops? Ha! That's not music!"
"Do you wanna hear some real music?" she asked us as a sly grin appeared on her face. "ROCKERS!"
Suddenly, out of nowhere, at least ten more tiny angler subs appeared, filled with rock trolls. Out of pure instinct, I held onto Trollex's arm tightly, fearing the unknown.
In less than thirty seconds, our DJ booth, which had been around for many generations, was destroyed in the blink of an eye. All we could do was stare in horror as half of it crumbled and fell to the bottom of the reef.
Trollex grabbed B.D. and held him close while I turned back around to face Barb.
"Why are you doing this?" I shouted at her. "We didn't do anything wrong!"
"Actually...you kind of did," she responded. "You see, not only do I want us all to be one nation of trolls under rock, but I also want to fix my Aunt Roxy and change her back to her old self!"
My heart skipped a beat at the sound of her name, but I still found myself frowning. "Your aunt doesn't need to be fixed...she's fine just the way she is!" I told her. Barb growled to herself.
"Auntie has been...corrupted by your "music.'" Barb continued. "She actually favors YOUR music over the music she was BORN AND RAISED LISTENING TO! But now, I can finally mend her broken pieces, and make her a true rock troll again."
"Dad...who are you talking about?" Trollex asked. My heart stung when he said those words, but before I could say anything to him, Barb interrupted me.
"So...in a way...you should be thanking her for this tour of mine. After all..." She stared me dead in the eyes and smiled. "She wanted us to visit you guys first."
"No..." I shook my head as I felt tears prick my eyes once again. "She...would never allow this to happen! Y-You're lying!"
"Oh am I?" She set her guitar down, walked to the front of the sub, and stuck her hand out towards Trollex and I.
"Hand over the techno string and come along with us willingly. If you do that then maybe, just maybe, you'll get to ask her yourself."
My heart was screaming "Yes! Do it!", but my brain was screaming "Don't you dare!" But at this point in time, I was so desperate that I'd give ANYTHING just to see and talk to my beautiful wife again...
"Ok..." I said. "I'll give it to you..." Trollex turned towards me, shocked that I would say such a thing.
"Dad-"
"I don't want anyone to get hurt, son," I interrupted. "It'd be best for us and our people if we just give her what she wants...now you start rounding up trolls...while I go get the string, okay?"
Trollex sighed and hugged B.D. closer to his chest. "Okay, dad..."
I swam as fast as I could towards our castle to grab the string...and Roxy's violin, then I returned with both. Trollex had already reluctantly ushered most of the techno trolls onto the angler subs by the time I got back.
When I handed the string over to Barb, she practically yanked it out of my hands and pushed Trollex and I into the same cage. Within a matter of seconds, I could feel the sub rising towards the surface of the water. All I could do now was sit down and hug Roxy's violin case close to my chest.
When I told Trollex that something big was going to happen today that would change his life forever, this was not what I meant...but now I couldn't help but feel...happy...and sad at the same time...
"Wait for me, my love..." I whispered while running my hand along the side of her violin case.
"I'm coming..."
"We'll finally be...together again...just wait...you'll see..."

It's almost over. I didn't know what to do after that. I thought that maybe it would be best to die right then, get it over with. I thought that I could push myself away from all my friends, all my family, stop them from missing me after I was gone. I thought that I could handle it on my own, that perhaps the world was better off without me. I was wrong. So please help me, I'm dying. Save me, I'm falling. They tell me I won't survive. Please catch me, because if you don't, I'll shatter. I can't grab on anymore, I can't keep fighting. It's going to swallow me up. My name is Alyssa Gray, and by the time you finish reading this, I'll be dead. ________________________________ A few warnings and things to note: -I've put up the tramatising content tag due to a lot of mentions on death, dying, illness, and a mother who tends to be rather cruel. I know that I take a perspective that many will strongly disagree with, and I'm okay with that. Just be warned that this isn't lighthearted stuff. This is real, and death is real, and this part streaches beyond the fiction into reality. -I'm going to say a minor spoiler, but I don't want it to take you unaware because it is something to be aware of. At one point, my MC attempts suicide and fails. It's a very violent scene and I will put up the gore tag after writing this, and it's also just really depressing. If this will be triggering, you need to be aware of this before you read it. -This is a christian book. It may go against some of your beliefs. I hope that you can read and comment anyway even if some of it does not sit well with you. Credits for the cover go to the user 'Media in Sanity'. Your help and assitance has meant so much to me, God bless you in your writing and your endevours. A proud member of WriTE. I've promised to finish this fiction and update it at least once a month. My schedule is very irregular, and I'm working on that, but I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that this book stays out there. I'm not ending it until it's done.

"Ian? Please. Why are you not answering me?" Lisa shouted raising her voice to probably gain his attention."You want to know the truth?" Ian replied shifting his head away from the painting to look directly at her, staring into her eyes. While he started taking small steps in her direction."You really want to know why we are here." He asked again still moving forward. His voice was deep and hoarse and the way he was looking at her, made her take some steps back that was until her back hit the wall. Without saying anything he leaned forward placing both of his arms around her so that she was now trapped between him and the wall. He moved his face forward directly in front of her.Lisa could feel his hot breathe on her neck as he bent forward to place his mouth on her neck, placing a tender kiss there. Lisa took a large gulp of air trying to control the tingles, she was feeling down there."I was jealous, Lisa," He breathed out in her ears placing yet another kiss just below her earlobe. "I was jealous when you took hold of Cole's hand. I was jealous when you let that piece of shit place his hands on you. I was jealous when you danced with him. I was jealous, Lisa, very jealous." He continued as he removed his mouth from her neck, leaning forward to stare directly into her eyes."So let me tell you the truth. I am a very possessive man, Lisa and I don't share what's mine. And when it comes to you I certainly can't control myself." He concluded as he closed the gap and placed his lips on her.
