《He Saved Me》Chapter fourty eight

Today is the day. The day I've been shįtting myself about for a week.
I woke up at 10 and made everyone coffee and breakfast to try and distract myself.
We are all chatting around the table, eating.
"I gotta go get ready" I look at the time, seeing its 12:00.
I run into my room, throwing my hair in a bun and getting changed into a tank top and shorts. I put Masons hoodie back on, not wanting anyone else to see or realize.
I head back out to the table with my purse and phone.
"All ready?" Cody asks.
"Yep, Elle should be here soon" I check my phone, a text popping up right on cue.
"Speaking of the devil. Bye guys. Luke, I'll see you later. Take my room tonight. I'm staying at Masons" I say, hugging them and running out.
"Hey" Ellie smiles, pulling out of the parking lot.
"Hey, how are you?" I take my purse off, placing it on the floor.
"Good, take that off. Its hot" She picks at the material.
"I know, I just had to wait" I take it off, covering the marks with my hair.
"Why?" She asks, oblivious.
"Oh, wait. Gotcha" She nods.
"Yeah, so where are we going?" I say, getting comfortable.
"Its not far. Like half an hour. They do a beautiful job at hair and makeup"
After a couple songs we arrive at the salon.
"Hi girls, ready?" They ask when we walk in.
"Yeah, I don't know hair, so this is my dress. Do what you think would look nice" I laugh, telling the girl.
"Okay" She smiles, putting my hair in a beautiful half up, half down hairstyle.
(^This was my prom hairstyle!)
After hair, the lady, Valerie did my makeup. She decided on a beautiful navy smokey eye with some lighter blue shimmery color in the middle. She gave me a wing and some false lashes and put some nude colored lipstick on to tie the look together.
I looked good.
We just arrived. Brooks and Mason are here already, they are waiting outside for us.
"Ready?" Ellie asks.
"No" I laugh, stepping out of the limo with her, Tara and Jim following behind us.
I glance up to see Brooks and Mason talking, Masons back to us.
Brooks hits Mason a little, nodding towards us.
Mason turns around, losing his footing a little. I blush at his reaction.
"He's so whipped for you" Ellie laughs.
"You look. Wow" Mason looks me up and down, at a loss for words.
I blush again, playing with my rings.
"Well, you look great. Better than I thought you would. You dress up nicely" I pull on his jacket, smoothening it out.
"T-thank you. I just-wow. You look breathtaking Le" He kisses my hand.
"Thank you" I smile.
"You sure were right. This dress is beautiful, you make it look stunning" He compliments me, wrapping his arm around my waist.
"They did a good job with covering those hįckeys. Too bad there will be more later" He whispers in my ear, another blush spreading on my cheeks.
"Cut it out. Control your hormones boy" I laugh as we walk into the huge room.
"Welcome to my families idea of a small party" Mason holds his arm out, allowing me to lock arms with him.
"Don't be nervous. You look jaw dropping. See, everyones looking" He smiles, trying to ease my nerves.
"Yeah, they're looking because I look stupid. I don't know how to do any of this" I blush, walking down the stairs next to Mason.

"You're doing great Le. I won't abandon you. Just follow me, alright? I'm going to introduce you to some family. Get it out of the way. Okay?" He says.
I take a deep breath, nodding.
Mason introduces me to his family, I get a couple compliments on my dress.
"My lady, will you dance with me?" Mason jokes.
"It would be my honor" I play along, placing my hand in his.
"You do know I have no idea what I'm doing right?" I laugh, as we get on the dance floor.
"Just follow me. Its pretty simple" He nods over to Ellie and Brooks who are next to us.
After a couple mess ups and almost face planting, I finally got the hang of it.
"Thats it" Mason smiles, scanning my face.
"For the most part" I laugh, my head falling back.
"God, you're gorgeous" He mumbles, his eyes dark.
"You're too sweet Mas" I smile, kissing his cheek.
"You don't understand how hard it is to hold back when you look like this. I didn't know it was possible for someone to look this good in a dress" He spins me, getting another good look at the dress.
"I know, I absolutely adore this dress. It does wonders" I smile.
"Correction, you do it wonders" He smiles, his hands slowly traveling down my back.
"Hey! Hands up, White. Family function" I squint my eyes.
"Scręw them. Its been so long. What do you say we blow this place and go back home?" He suggests, wiggling his eyebrows.
"I would say you're crazy" I smile, shaking my head.
"You're no fun" He frowns.
"Mason, switch?" Ellie asks.
"Yeah, give me a minute" He says.
"Alright, I'm gonna spin you to Brooks. Just go with it" He says.
I nod, as Mason kisses me on the cheek.
He spins me and soon I'm in Brooks arms. It feels weird. Nothing compared to Masons.
"Your girl looks stunning" I smile.
"She does. She really does. I'm lucky" He nods.
"You are. She's really a great person. Best personality" I say, hyping my best friend up.
"You're a good best friend Le, you know that?" He says.
"You think? I don't know. Haven't really had a best friend in years" I shrug, getting bored of this slow dancing. I just want to let lose and go crazy. Like club dancing.
"I would have never known. I'm happy for you though. Happy you found your way back to them. You're lucky to have Mason. He's a good guy" He says.
"Yeah, hes not bad" I joke, smiling at Mason.
Truth is, he's something else. He's Mason White. He's not perfect and I'm not either. Mason isn't Mason without his caring and bright personality. Without his inappropriate comments and behavior. If Mason didn't have his short temper, he wouldn't be the Mason I fell in love with. His ocean blue eyes or perfectly styled hair. Without any part of him, he wouldn't be my Mason.
"I'm gonna let you in on a secret. Alright?" He asks. I nod, urging him on.
"I've never in my whole time being his best friend, seen him this happy. He has a permanent smile on his face now. For a while it was just football. If it wasn't football then he was picking a fight with someone or at a party. He needed you, and you found him at the right time. He glows now. I mean, just look at him now. Even his eyes have gotten brighter" Brooks says.
I never really thought of that. I had always figured that Mason had everything he would ever need. I mean, he is the golden boy. He could have gotten a super model for crying out loud. "You think so?"

"Without a doubt" He nods.
"Brooks" Mason calls.
Soon I am back in Masons arms. "What was he saying about me?" Mason whispers, making sure I feel his breath under my ear.
My breathing hitches, causing my heart to race.
"N-Nothing" I stutter out, a chuckle escaping from Masons lips.
"Shut up" I whine, rolling my eyes.
Mason looks around the room, sighing.
"What?" I ask, wanting nothing more but to run my hand through his hair and mess it up a bit.
"I want to kiss you so bad" He says, causing me to laugh.
"What?" He asks, confused.
"You're adorable" I shake my head.
"You're annoying. But do you have to use the bathroom?" He asks, giving me a look.
"No, I'm good" I purposely say.
"Well I do, you're coming with me" He grabs my hand, pulling me with him.
"Mas, heels" I struggle to keep up with him.
"Oops, sorry" He laughs, slowing down a little.
"Go to the bathroom. I'll be here" I lean against the wall.
"You're so frustrating" He laughs, kissing me.
I kiss him back, pulling away before things get heated in front of his family.
"Stop" I laugh.
"Fine, but later" He winks.
"Control yourself babe" I laugh, pulling him back out.
"Time to eat" Mason smiles.
"Oh, God no" I laugh, placing my hand over my stomach.
"What?" He asks.
"This thing is glued to my body. I can't eat a dãmn thing" I laugh.
"You're eating" He places some mozzarella sticks on a plate.
After he grabs some food we sit back down, eating it.
"Have one. Just one" Mason holds out a mozzarella stick.
"Mason, no" I laugh.
"Eat it now" He scolds.
"I'll have half" I reason with him.
"Fine. Here" He grabs a frozen drink and places it in front of me.
I look at it, cocking my head to the side. "Mason" I frown.
"Virgin" He says, my eyes bulging. "The drink. Its a virgin strawberry daiquiri" He explains.
I nod, embarrassed.
"You're fücking adorable" Mason chuckles, patting my thigh.
"Are they gonna play any fast songs? I wanna dance" I whine, a smile on Masons face.
"No, they wont. I know, thats why I hate this so much. We are going to leave early though" He says brushing a hair off my face.
"We don't have to" I shake my head,
"I want to. Trust me" He says, shoveling some pasta in his mouth.
"Fine, fine" I yawn.
"Someones tired. We'll leave soon. If it was up to me I would have left already. But we have to stay another hour" Mason frowns.
"I'm good" I nod, leaning against him.
"Lets go mingle" Mason stands up.
We make our way over to Brooks, Ellie, Tara, Jim and some others.
"Leah, you look lovely" Tom smiles, hugging me.
"Thank you, you don't look bad yourself. Lydia, You look beautiful" I say, hugging Lydia.
"Hey Leah, how are you? Nice dress" Scott hugs me.
"Thanks, I'm doing alright" I lean to my right, removing some pressure from my left ankle.
"You alright?" Mason asks, running his hands up my arms.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm good" I nod.
"Okay, let me know if you need anything Le" He whispers, leaving a kiss behind my ear.
We hang out for an hour, leaving around the time other people start leaving.
"Can I sleep over tonight?" I ask Mason, leaning into his chest.
"Of course Le" He kisses the top of my head.
"Lets watch a movie tonight" I suggest.
"Don't forget our unfinished business" He whispers in my ear.
Soon we arrive at Masons and we walk up to his room.
"God, I love this dress but I'm so excited to get out of it" I laugh, slipping out of my heels.
"You can get in the shower, I'll be in soon" He winks.
I laugh, grabbing some spandex and one of his t-shirts and run into his bathroom, turning the water on.
I slip out of the dress, taking the bobby pins out of my hair.
I slip into the shower, lathering my body with Masons body wash.
I hear the door open, causing me to peek my head out of the shower curtain.
"Mason, what are you doing? Get out" I laugh, seeing him pulling his shirt over his head.
"I said I was joining" He shrugs, pulling his dress pants down.
"I'll be done soon. Just wait outside" I smile, finishing up.
"You're boring" He whines, closing the door.
I finish up, brushing my teeth and washing my face.
"Wearing makeup is so annoying" I sigh, laying down on Masons bed.
"Don't wear any. Its not like you need it" He shrugs pulling me to straddle him.
"Mm, but I do" I laugh, taking in his wet hair.
"I showered in my moms room" He explains, brushing my hair out of my face.
"Gotcha" I kiss his cheek, getting off his lap.
"Come here" He whines, staring at me as I grab a hairbrush.
"What?" I ask, brushing my hair.
After a minute of him not answering me I walk over to him, standing next to him.
"What?" I repeat, placing the brush down.
"Let me see" He grabs my arm, pulling me to sit in between his legs.
He slowly moves my hair away from my neck, observing the marks that were made yesterday.
"Damn" He laughs, nodding.
"You're unbelievable" I laugh, kissing him gently.
He deepens the kiss, running his hands through my hair.
~Stop reading if you don't like steamy scenes~
"You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this" He mumbles, leaving light kisses on my collarbone.
My eyes flutter closed, not being able to keep them open.
"Mason" I whisper.
"You look so good in my shirt" His arms roam around my body, locking me in place, on my back.
I lean up, kissing him.
He kisses back, his cold fingers finding their way to my stomach.
I run my fingers through his hair, untangling it.
He pulls away, his eyes racking my clothed body. I take this as my chance.
I push him so that I'm straddling him now. Leaving soft kisses on his neck, gently sucking to leave a mark.
Where did this side of me come from?
I stand back, admiring my work, "Good luck hiding that" I smirk.
"I'll be wearing it proudly baby" He smirks back.
"My gosh" I laugh, getting off his lap.
"No, no, no. You aren't getting away that easily" He chuckles, grabbing my waist.
"What? Mason, I'm not ready to go further" I mumble.
"I know, I won't push you" He plays with my hair.
"I just need more. Please" He says, lacing our fingers together.
I nod, leaning in, placing some small kisses all over his face.
"Stop teasing" He whines, grabbing my face and smashing his lips on mine.
I smile into the kiss, tugging on his hair a little.
Its at the moment I realize I have no idea what to do.
I pull away, blushing.
"Why'd you stop?" Mason frowns, rubbing my cheek with his thumb.
"I don't know what to do" I blush, looking away.
"You were doing great Le. Everything. No need to be embarrassed. You're a natural and not to mention, an amazing kisser" He smirks, arms around my waist.
He fingers the bottom of my shirt, playing with it a little.
"Are you sure? I feel like you're just saying that" I sigh.
"Babe, don't stress. Just keep what you're doing. I promise" He smiles, running his hands up and down my sides.
I don't want to rush Leah, never. But this is killing me.
I want her to feel comfortable and confident. She was doing great before she got all in her head.
"I don't know Mas. I'm not experienced like you" She shrugs, tracing my abs.
"You don't have to be. I love you for you" I play with my shirt that is on her body.
"But-" She starts. I cut her off by placing my lips on hers, turning us around so she's now laying down.
I pull the shirt up a little, exposing her smooth, pale skin.
"What are you doing?" She asks.
I leave a trail of kisses around her belly button, small giggles escaping Leah's lips. She squirms, signaling she's even more ticklish than I thought.
"Stop" She tries to pry my hands away from her waist.
I grab her hands, holding them in one hand, continuing my attempt to get herself out of her head.
"Mas, it tickles" She laughs, trying to get away.
I suck lightly at the skin, leaving a red, soon to be purple mark.
"Mason" She shrieks, laughing.
"Get used to it" I smile, attaching my lips to hers before I move them back down.
I continue my teasing.
"Babe" She whimpers, her eyes closing.
She frees her hands from my grasp, pulling my head up, deepening the kiss.
Mission successful.
Her hands find their way to my hair, tugging a little. A soft moan escapes my mouth, a smirk forming on Leah's lips.
She continues the torture, her way of payback.
I run my hands down her body, wrapping her thighs around my waist.
"Mm" She mumbles into the kiss.
She pulls away, kissing my neck.
Her confidence level is through the roof, turning me on even more.
Fück, this girl is going to be the death of me.
"Fück" I mumble when she finds my sensitive spot.
She smiles against my skin, working on leaving a mark.
"Sorry" She smiles sheepishly when she realizes what she did.
"What?" I ask, looking down at her.
Her cheeks are red, lips swollen and eyes wide. I cant imagine how I look.
She reaches over, grabbing my phone and taking a picture of my neck.
"Holy shįt Le" I laugh at the amount of hickeys on my neck.
"I got a little carried away" She blushes.
"Well I guess I need payback" I smirk.
"No" She stops me. "Luke is still at my place" She clarifies.
"So? Do you see my neck? You have two on your neck and three on your stomach" I twist her hair in between my fingers.
"Plus, I need to find your spot. You got mine, I need yours" I whisper huskily.
I start my search to find Leah's sweet spot, ignoring her protests.
"Mason, stop" She contradicts her actions, trying to hold back any noises.
"M-Mason" She sucks in a breath. Found it.
I quickly observe the spot, making sure I know exactly where it is for next time.
I smirk at her, quickly sucking on the spot.
A moan escapes her lips. Her eyes widen and she quickly slaps her hand over her mouth.
I chuckle, continuing at the spot.
She got carried away, I will too.
"M-Mason. Stop" She rushes out, not being able to speak a whole sentence.
"Babe, relax" I pull away, placing a kiss on her cheek and laying down next to her.
She gets up, running over to my mirror, her eyes widen at the sight.
"Mason" She whisper-yells. "My cousin is going to kill me" She's says, angrily.
"Shh, you'll be fine. Come here. I want to cuddle" I urge her.
She crosses her arms, standing there.
"You asked for it" I sigh, throwing her over my shoulder.
"Mason" She warns before I put her on the bed.
"Come on, I just want to cuddle and watch a movie" I laugh.
"Fine, but I'm going to sleep" She smiles, cuddling into my chest.
"Goodnight Le" I smile, kissing her head.
"Goodnight Mason" She mumbles, soft snores being heard.
I start to calm down from our little episode, admiring the marks on Leah's neck.
