《He Saved Me》Chapter fifty two

I wake up well rested. This might become a weekly thing.

Mason is still sleeping so I grab my bag and head into the bathroom.

I change into the outfit Mason picked out, a pink t-shirt that is tied and says 'cute', a pair of jean shorts and some adidas sneakers. I pull my hair into a messy ponytail and curl it a little.

My makeup is natural with a wing and some nude lipstick, like usual.

When I'm done I make some coffee, bringing it up to Mason.

"Mas, hey. Wake up. It's time to go to school" I kiss his forehead, moving his hair off it.

"Hm?" He asks, intertwining our hands.

"You gotta get ready babe" I smile as he pulls my arm.

"Do I really have to?" He opens one eye, smirking.

"Yes, throw a t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants on and you're good" I smile.

"You look very beautiful today" His eyes soften as he takes in my appearance.

"Thank you" I blush.

He grabs my face, placing a kiss on my lips.

He grabs a pink shirt and some blue jeans and throws them on. He puts on a pair of his basketball shoes and throws a baseball hat on, backwards.

"Now we're matching" He smiles, grabbing his duffle bag and backpack.

"We are" I smile, nodding.

"Ready?" He wraps his arms around my waist.

"I guess" I shrug, grabbing my bag, keys and wallet.

"I'm driving" I smile, causing Mason to shake his head with a smile.

"Fine, fine. Do you want my car? I need a new one anyways" He smirks, getting into it.

"Yeah, I want it" I laugh.

"Its yours" He smiles.

"What time does practice end?" I ask as we pull into the school.

"It starts right after school and ends at 6:30" He answers, grabbing our bags.

"Okay" I nod.

"You can take my car to leave after school. I'll have Brooks drop me at your place" He smiles.

"I'll figure something out" I smile.

We walk into school, eyes finding us like usual. I don't think I'll ever get used to that.

"Aww, you guys are matching" Brooks teases.

"Shut up Brooks. Its cute" Ellie hits his chest.

The bell rings and we go off to class.

I'm doing my work, its so boring.

"Leah, please go to Ms. Greens office" My teacher comes up to me. "Bring your stuff"

I furrow my eyebrows, exiting the class and making my way to the guidance office.

I knock on the door before being told to come in.

"Hi, Leah" The principle says as I sit down, uncomfortable.

"There is no problems. Don't be nervous. We have an important piece of information to inform you about" He says, making my palms sweat.

"Congratulations, you have been chosen as Valedictorian" He nods, my eyes bulging.

"Wow, um. Its truly an honor. Thank you" I nod. That means I'll have to make a speech.

"Thank you, you have given our school a great reputation. You will be making a speech at graduation. It can be as long or as short as you would like and if its okay, we will take a picture out front, today" He smiles.

"O-Okay. Yeah, thats fine" I push a smile out.

What the fück?

We walk out front and take a picture, then I'm sent back to the office without the principal.

"I also wanted to talk to you about tutoring. You get out two weeks earlier than everyone else. Your grades are unbelievable. There are a couple kids that are struggling in some subjects. If you would be interested in tutoring it could pay very well" He folds his arms.

"Yeah, of course. What subjects?" I ask.

"We have two english and a chemistry" He looks at his paper.

"I would love to tutor them" I smile.

"Okay, how about we meet here after school and discuss days. We might even be able to get started today" He smiles.

"Sounds good, thank you so much" I smile, shaking his hand.

I make my way back to class for the last twenty minutes.

The bell rings and I quickly find Mason.

"Hey babe, I heard the news. Thats amazing" He smiles, wrapping me in a hug and kissing the top of my head.

"Yeah, its crazy. I'm just super nervous for that speech. I also got a job tutoring three kids" I smile.

"Its going to be great, don't stress about it now. Theres plenty of time. Thats perfect for you. When do you start?" He asks, taking my bag.

"When I get there I'm going to meet one kid, we're going to discuss it and then maybe start" I explain.

"Cool, well I'll let you get to it. Have fun. I'll see you after practice" He kisses me.

"Okay, bye. Good luck" I kiss him back and start back to guidance.

"Okay, we are starting with the one who is struggling in chem. I looked back at your grades and they were really good. Looked to be a strong suit of yours. Hopefully this can help the girl" He leads me to a table.

I am met with a young girl.

"Hi, I'm Leah" I introduce myself, holding out my hand.

"Hi, I'm Sophia" She smiles, sweetly.

"Okay, so you guys can talk about the plan or just get started today" He says, leaving the room.

"Okay, so, you probably want to know how this pays. Right?" She laughs.

"No, I actually wanted to get to know you a little bit. Find your strong and weak points in chem. Try and get comfortable with each other" I found that in my past tutoring sessions, it was a little awkward. Becoming a little more comfortable with the tutor often seems to make the information easier to absorb" I explain my ideas for todays session.

"Oh, well okay. I'm Sophia. I'm normally very good in science. I can memorize most of the stuff, especially the important information. I struggle more with the math of chem. I don't know what about it since I get average grades in trigonometry" She explains.

"Okay, I was the same way. You just need to find tricks and ways to help you. I can try and show you some of the ways I got through the class once we get started" I smile.

"That sounds great" She nods.

"Okay, perfect. Now, do you mind if we make a schedule?" I take out my notebook, making a rough calendar of June.

"No, thats a great idea" She smiles.

"Okay, first, how often do you want to be tutored?" I question.

"Maybe twice a week. Finals are soon and I'm really nervous. I also know you get out before us so I'll want to know everything before that" She says, grabbing her planner out.

"Oh, no thats fine. I can come here after school or we can meet up at a café or Starbucks. Here, take my number so that we can figure that out and if anything ever needs to change" I smile.

"Oh wow. Thank you, thats incredibly nice. Do you think we could do maybe Tuesdays and Thursdays? If it works for you, lunch on Tuesdays would be nice and then after school on Thursdays since I have tests every Friday. Then, the day before the final so that Wednesday, the twentieth" She looks at her calendar.

"Thats perfect for me. And then if you ever want to change the date, time or even add a session or two just text me and let me know. I'm really easy to reach" I write down everything.

"Thank you so much. This might actually work. I'll owe you the world if it does" She thanks me.

"Don't sweat it. I have absolutely nothing else to do anymore" I smile, looking up at her.

"Nothing to do? You're dating Mason White. He's literally the Golden Boy of this whole school. You can go suck his face off whenever you want" She laughs.

"Oh my gosh. You know about that? I'm so embarrassed" I blush at her words.

"Of course I do. The whole school does. Y'all are so cute. So many people love your relationship" She smiles, jotting some stuff down.

"Try to get everyone to stop talking about me, please" I laugh, taking mg computer out of my bag.

"No promises" She grabs her books too.

"Its also $30 an hour" Sophia gives me a small smile, I nod.

We get started and I teach her some of the tricks that I had used to get through some of the math problems.

We didn't use a full hour of actually tutoring so I took $15 instead of the full $30.

"Thank you so much. I'll see you tomorrow" She smiles, walking out.

I say goodbye and make my way to the bleachers. Its a beautiful day today, might as well do my work outside.

Its 4:30 so practice ends in two hours. I can get most, if not all my work done.

I lock eye contact with Mason for a couple seconds, a smile spreading on his face.

I place an earbud in and turn my attention to my work, finishing it all up quickly.

Theres a couple challenging questions but its pretty basic and easy for the most part.

I finish my work with a half an hour left.

I pack my bag and turn my attention to the field.

The rest of the practice flies by and I find myself craving an iced coffee.

"Hey babe" Mason smiles, his cleats making a clicking sound on the bleachers.

"Hey" A huge smiles spreads on my face as I wrap my arms around his neck.

He wraps his free arm around my back and picks me up, pushing me closer to him.

"How was practice?" I smile, attempting to take his bag from him.

"It was good" He nods as we walk towards his car.

"Gonna shower when you get home?" I ask, trying to keep up with him, his long legs making him walk a little faster.

"Yeah, you can join" He smirks, throwing an arm around my waist.

"You're something else Mas" I shake my head laughing.

"Mhm, am I?" He places his duffel bag in the back seat, grabbing my arm.

"You really are" I nod as he closes the door, lightly pushing me against it.

"And what makes me something else?" He smirks, placing his hands on both sides of me, leaving me trapped.

I fold my arms, shaking my head.

"This right here. We are in the school parking lot" I blush, laughing.

"Are you suggesting something?" An even brighter blush fills my cheeks.

"No, I. You know th-" I start before Masons lips stop my words.

He kisses me, pulling my body towards his.

"I love you" He breathes out when he pulls away.

"Now get your pretty little äss in the car or else you're not going to be happy" He mumbles in my ear.

My eyes widen and I immediately turn to get into the car. He quickly slaps my äss before making his way to the drivers seat. The hęll?

"Where are you going?" He asks, as we drive out of the parking lot.

"I was planning on going home. You know, since you had practice and everything. So you can sleep tonight" I shrug, picking at the knot on my shirt.

"Okay, to your place it is" He speeds up a little, causing my hands to shake.

"M-Mason. Can you slow down a little?" I stutter out, getting déjà vu.

"Yeah, sorry Le" He places his hand on my thigh, immediately slowing down.

We pull up to the apartment and Mason unbuckles.

"Bye Mas. Thank you, I'll see you tomorrow" I lean over the console kissing his cheek.

"I'm coming in babe" He smiles, grabbing my bag.

"You don't have to" I shake my head.

"I want to" He hops out of the car, running to open the door for me.

"What a gentleman" I smirk.

"Thats what you think" He winks, grabbing my hand and placing a light kiss on top of it.

"You can shower here" I unlock the door.

"Okay, sounds good. Thank you" He smiles, placing my bag in my room.

"You're a sweaty mess Mas" I laugh, brushing his hair off his forehead.

"Mhm, am I now? And why is that?" He places his hands on my waist.

"Because you were at practice. Thats why" I smile innocently.

"Oh yeah? Do you want to change that now?" He draws circles on my waist, staring into my eyes. My breathing falters causing a smirk to form on Masons face.

"Go shower" I collect my thoughts, pushing on his chest.

"It will still be up for grabs after the shower" He smiles, leaving a quick kiss on my head.

I shake my head, getting one of Masons t-shirts and a pair of his sweatpants out, leaving it on my bed.

I grab his backpack and start some of his work.

"Hey" He wraps his arms around my shoulders.

"Hey, I left some clothes on the bed for you. I just don't have a pair of boxers, obviously" I laugh, turning around.

"Okay, thank you" He drops the towel, causing me to gasp and slap my hand over my eyes.

"Mason, a warning would be nice" I scold.

"Damn, okay. I have boxers on anyways" He chuckles.

"Jesus" I mumble, returning my attention back to the work.

"Why are you doing my work?" He gently rubs my shoulders.

"Thought it would be nice to start it for you. You're probably really tired" I roll my shoulders.

"I feel fine" He smiles, standing next to me.

"Here, sit" I stand up, moving the work towards me.

Mason sits, tugging on my waist.

"What?" I ask, trying to solve the simple math problem.

"Sit down" He whines, causing me to laugh.

I sit on his lap and he grabs the pen out of my hand, his left arm around my waist.

I sit on his lap while he finishes up his sheet.

"All done. Now, lets go" He picks me up, throwing me on the bed.

"Mason, I need a shower" I laugh.

He smells my stomach, shaking his head. "No you don't"

"I at least need to change" I sit up.

"If you say so" He tugs at my jean shorts.

"Mason" I shriek, holding them up.

"What?" He smiles innocently, staring down at me.

I push his chest, grabbing my clothes and heading to the shower.

"Get your head out of the gutter" Mason yells.

"Shut up" I yell back, turning on the shower.

I do my business and get ready for bed, completing my skincare and haircare routine.

"Babe" Mason whines when I walk back into the room.

"Yeah" I question, picking out my outfit for tomorrow.

"I'm so bored" He stands in front of me.

"What time is it?" I ask, packing my bag.

"Its 8:00" He throws me over his now bare shoulder, my shorts riding up.

"Mason White put me down" I hit his back, trying to pull my shorts down.

"What? You don't trust me?" I can hear the smirk in his voice.

"I do, more than you know" I try and get out of his grasp.

"Then whats the problem" He asks, ignoring my pleas.

"I just need you to put me down. I need to feed Bella" I make an excuse.

"Fine, you're no fun" He places me on my feet.

I grab Bella's food and feed her, grabbing my laptop.

"Want to watch something before you go?" I ask, sitting next to him on the bed.

"Yeah, sure" He yawns, putting his arm on my waist.

"What do you want to watch?" I look at him as he struggles to keep his eyes open.

"Do you want me to drive you home tonight?" I turn around so I'm facing him, brushing his hair out of his eyes.

"No, its okay" He messes with my sports bra strap.

"Do you want to spend the night?" I ask, letting my hand linger to the back of his head.

"That sounds nice" He gives me a cheeky smile.

"Okay babe" I smile back, kissing his neck.

"Go to sleep" I style his hair the way he likes it so it dries in place.

"Okay" He mumbles, pulling me close to him. I pull the covers over us so we don't freeze since it gets very cold at night.

"I love you" He places a kiss on my neck and a kiss behind my ear.

"Yeah, I love you too Mas" I run my hand up and down his arm in a comforting manner.

Soon soft snores and heard and I put on Netflix, making sure the volume is all the way down and closed captions are on.
