"Le, get up" Mason says, shaking me awake.

"Mas" I whine, clinging to his sheets.

"Are you guys up?" Ellie asks knocking on the door.

"I'm trying" Mason says tugging at my waist.

Ellie laughs, "Help him" She turns to Brooks.

Soon Brooks gently removes my hands from the comforter and Mason quickly picks me up, placing me on the floor.

"Change into these" Ellie says handing me clothes.

I drag myself into the bathroom, changing into a white tank top with some really soft cute patterned shorts. I throw on my sandals and put my hair into a ponytail, making it look messy. My makeup is natural and soon I'm done.

I'm thankful for the adorable, but extremely comfortable outfit. Who wants to travel in tight, restricting clothes?

I sluggishly walk out of the bathroom, grabbing my bag and heading downstairs where everyone else is.

"Aw. You look cute Le" Ellie says, eating a strawberry.

"Thanks" I smile sitting in the last chair on the island.

"Someone looks tired. What kept you up last night?" Ellie winks causing my eyes to widen.

"Elizabeth White" I shriek causing Brooks, Tara, Mason and Jim to laugh, my face heating up in embarrassment.

"Are we leaving soon?" Mason says, a smile still on his face. Oh, he wishes.

"Yes, as soon as Ellie is done eating and everyone is ready to go" Tara claps and I nod.

Everyone makes finishing touches and we all hustle out of the door.

I'm sitting in the back with Mason while Ellie and Brooks are in the middle and Tara and Jim have the front.

"Wake me when we get there" I say putting my head on Masons shoulder, drifting back to sleep.

"Leah, sweetie wake up" My mother says, shaking me awake, a birthday cake in my view.

"Happy 5th birthday honey" My father says. "Blow out the candles" He smiles, holding the cake towards me.

I blow them out, hugging them.

"I love you guys. Thank you" I squeal, running down the stairs.

"Leah, Leah. Hey. Why are you crying?" Mason asks, waking me up.

"I-I had a dream" I wipe my tears away.

"It was good. But sad" I say, shaking my head. "Are we almost there?" I continue.

"Yeah, yeah. We are. Do you want to talk about it?" He asks, concerned.

"No. It's okay" I'm glad he woke me up when he did. I'm not sure I could see their faces and be okay.

He wraps me in a hug and I instantly melt into it. He always makes me feel so comfortable and appreciated.

I look up, leaving a quick kiss on his jaw.

When we get to the airport everyones looking at us.

"Mason, why are they looking at us?" I say wrapping my arm with his.

"Just ignore them" He whispers in my ear, as we proceed to the gate.

"Mr. and Mrs. White, follow me" The attendant says, bringing us to the plane.

"We will be taking off as soon as you are ready" He turns to us as we walk to a small, private jet.

"Mason?" I ask confused.

"Yup, its ours" He says, confirming my suspicions.

"Le, its not a big deal" He laughs, placing my luggage in the plane.

"Yes Mason, yes it is" I say, walking up the stairs.

"Not really, so what? We own a private jet and a summer house. My father owns a business. We have some money" He laughs, sitting in a seat.

"Some money? Mason, you guys have a private jet for crying out loud" I gasp, whispering to him. I admire the plane, even the white leather seats look like $1,000 each.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I ask, confused.

He shrugs, "Not many people know. I also really liked you and didn't know if you liked me. I didn't want you to like me for money either. I didn't hide it, but I didn't tell you voluntarily" He says and I nod.

"Okay, I can respect that. Overall, I did the same thing" I say laughing and he nods.

"Alright, are you guys ready?" Ellie squeals, opening a bottle of champagne.

Brooks grabs a couple glasses, handing them to Ellie.

"Yes, I'm excited. Oh, no thank you" I say denying the glass.

Mason also shakes off the glass, aware of my opinion on it.

"Mason, have some. I don't mind. I know you wont hurt me" I say, handing him the glass.

"No, Leah-" He frowns and I interrupt him.

"I won't take no for an answer. Just a glass" I smile, taking the glass of water from Brooks.

"You heard your girl" Brooks hands him the glass. Mason hesitantly takes it.

"Cheers to vacations with best friends and memories for a life time" Ellie smiles. We click glasses together, taking a sip.

After a couple minutes we took off.

"So are you really not going to tell Leah where we are going until we get there?" Brooks says, his arm around Ellie.

"Nope" Ellie says, laughing.

I groan, shifting in Masons arms.

"Le, can you take some pictures for me?" Ellie says and I nod, taking my camera out of my bag.

I lay down on my stomach and even stand on the seat. Making sure to get all the right angels. I took ones of her alone, her, Brooks and her, Brooks and Mason. They came out really good.

"Your turn" Ellie says and I shake my head.

"Come on Le. Gotta keep your Instagram theme up" She laughs, winking at me.

"It'll be fun" Mason says and I nod.

We take a couple photos and then we had Tara take some of all of us.

They came out really cute.

A couple hours later of talking, quick naps and some snacks and we are a couple minutes away. I've been trying to get an idea of where we are but I have no clue. I've barely been out of my town, never mind wherever we are now.

"So, now can you tell me?" I ask, looking at Mason.

"Oh yeah, give me a second. No" He says laughing. I cross my arms, turning to Brooks.

"I will send you some baby pictures that I have of Ellie if you tell me" I say and his eye bulge.

"Take $5 and shut up" Mason says placing money in his hand. Brooks nods, putting it in his pocket.

The pilot comes over the speaker, telling us to buckle our seat belts and prepare for landing.

I am shaking from excitement at the thought of where we could possibly be.

Tennessee? Maybe, I've always wanted to go there. Maybe we are even in New York! That would be a dream!

We land, it's gorgeous outside. A nice, beautiful sunny day. Nothing like I've seen before. There isn't a cloud in sight.

We grab our bags, making our way out of the plane and into the airport. Mason quickly moves us out and into the beautiful city.

"Leah, welcome to Italy" He says.

I widen my eyes, shocked at how off I was.

"Italy? As in like Rome and Naples Italy?" I gasp, my eyes the size of saucers.

"Yes, that would be it" Jim laughs.

"How?" I breathe out.

"Business was doing great, so we opened up here and got a house with the profit" Jim says, placing all of the luggage in the taxi.

"Just wait until you see the house" Brooks says, sitting next to Jim in the taxi.

"Is there a second row back there?" Tara asks and Jim shakes his head.

"Okay, double up" Mason says, as Ellie sits on Brooks lap. Mason follows and sits in the last spot, patting his lap for me to sit.

This isn't going to end well.

"Ready?" The driver says as Tara gives him the address.

Within a few minutes we are pulling up to a huge, brick house. The garden in front is beautiful, flowers all over. Reds, pinks, yellows, oranges. Every color of the rainbow is in the front yard.

"Woah" I breathe out, interlocking my arm with Ellie's.

"Leah, welcome to Casa White" She smiles, admiring her house.

"Mason? Ohmygosh" A high pitched squeal comes from the neighboring house.

"You have got to be shįtting me" Ellie sneers out, plastering a fake smile in time for me to turn around to see a platinum blonde girl jump into Masons arm.

Okay, what the fück?

"Ellie White, it's amazing to see you. Is this your friend? And who's this? It's so great to meet you two" She says hugging Brooks and I.

"Lexi, this is Brooks, my boyfriend and Leah, Masons girlfriend" Ellie introduces us.

Lexi smugly looks me up and down with no shame. Her designer clothes and handbags outshining my Michael Kors sandals.

"Oh" She rolls her eyes, examining her acrylic nails.

Mason puts his arm around my shoulders, clearing his throat to break the tension.

Tara and Jim say hi to Lexi quickly, sneaking into the house.

I shrug Masons hand away, running after them.

"I-I'm sorry if I'm invading some privacy. But who is that? She ran right into his arms like they are together. Is Mason cheating on me?" I say, Tara's eyes widen.

"No, Mason will tell you later. I promise Le, there's nothing to worry about" She says, nervously.

There is definitely something.

Soon Brooks, Ellie, Mason and the dreaded Lexi come in. I rolls my eyes, making my way to the kitchen, sitting at the island.

"Who even is she?" Lexi mumbles causing me to bite my tongue, careful not to say something I might regret.

"Lex, I think you should leave" Mason says, harshly. If anything that sentence makes me feel even worse.

A little piece of my heart breaks at the lack of defense from my own boyfriend.

"Oh, I'll go get Elijah" She says running out of the house.

"Leah" Mason says, grabbing my face. I quickly make my way off the chair, up to Ellie. "I'm going outside" I say and she nods.

As I'm making my way down the bloody grand staircase, Lexi and her supposed brother, Elijah are coming up.

"And who are you?" He says, looking me up and down.

"Masons girl. Soon to be ex" Lexi whispers the last part.

Thats it. I can't do it anymore.

"I'm sorry, what did you say?" I say, the door opening.

"I said Masons girl" She says, sickly.

"No, after that" I cross my arms, stopping myself from pouncing at this artificial excuse of a girl.

"Oh, that? Nothing too major. Just that since Mason is back, its time to take him back" She smiles, bumping into Ellie.

"Let's fücking go Leah. Ignore her. She's nothing to Mason anymore" Ellie says, venom dripping from her tongue.

"I never liked you anyway Ellie" She rolls her eyes, stumbling into the house.

"I'm, um. I'm sorry about her" Elijah says, scratching his neck.

"It's okay. I'll live" I chuckle, continuing down the stairs.

"Hey Elijah" Ellie whispers walking after me.

"Ellie, please. Please tell me the truth, who is that?" I say, desperate.

"Leah-" She says, sitting next to me in the garden.

"Give me something to work with Elle" I say, sighing.

"Okay, okay fine. Lexi and Mason have a past. A very complicated past that Lexi still hasn't gotten over" Ellie says and I nod.

"But the best way to get to the bottom of this is to talk to Mason" Ellie says and I nod.

"I know, but I have such a bad feeling about this girl. I feel like there's something more" I say, closing my eyes harshly.

"You ain't the only one. Come on, I'll show you to your room. If you want you can sleep in my room tonight and Brooks can take yours and Masons" She says and I nod, thanking her.

We walk into the house, Ellie's wedges clicking on the marble floor.

Mason comes running out of the living room, Lexi following him.

I send a quick glare her way, a smile smug on her face.

"Leah, I really need to talk to you" He says pulling his arm out of her grasp. Her face drops a little but she recovers quickly.

"Maybe later" I mumble, taking my luggage and following Ellie into her room.

"Alexis, get off me" Mason grunts, slamming the front door.

"Lexi, chill please. You're being a bit much. He has a girlfriend now" Elijah says and she huffs, running after Mason.

Ellie opens the window, trying to circulate the air. There is a huge bed in the center. The room decorated nicely. Very sophisticated looking. I love it.

"Mason, what the fück man? I thought you were done with her" Brooks says, my ears perking up.

"Maybe we should-" Ellie says closing the window. I grab her hand, listening to the conversation.

"I am. Well kind of. I can't just forget about her Brooks" Mason says, pulling on his hair.

"Not for nothing but your girlfriend is inside that house. She's hurt and confused. You never even mentioned Alexis to her before" He says and I smile at Ellie, she nods approvingly.

"I didn't think it was important. And how can I talk to her if she won't listen?" Mason says causing me to roll my eyes.

"She has every right not to listen. That poor girl has been through hęll and finally got a nice little get away. She literally stepped out of the car and not even two seconds later, a blonde girl wearing Louis Vuitton and Gucci literally jumped into your arms. How would that make you feel? And inside, what the hęll man? Leah's your girlfriend, and all you do is ask Alexis to leave after she bluntly insulted her? Now listen, I don't know how clueless you are, but she is still hung up on you. And you need to open your eyes soon and see that. Otherwise, you'll lose Leah, and I see the way you look at Leah. I've never seen it before on you Mason. Please man, don't ruin this. Alexis, she's not worth it" Brooks says, disappointment all over his features.

"Fück" Mason shouts, placing a helmet on his head and speeding off on a motorcycle.

Woah.

"Ohmygod. Did Brooks really just say that?" Ellie says and I nod, smiling a little.

"Yeah, yeah. He did. You got yourself a keeper Ms. White" I say winking.

"I'm going to the kitchen" I whisper, walking out of the room.

I rummage through the cabinet searching for coffee. I'm in desperate need of it. It keeps me calm.

"Hey, are you. Um. Looking for something?" Elijah says.

"Yeah, actually. I need coffee desperately. It keeps me calm" I say, looking at my shaky fingers.

"Well, I'm not sure if Mr. and Mrs. White have coffee here but we do at my place. I can go make you some. Unless you want to come with me?" He asks and I nod.

"Yeah, thank you. I could use bit of a distraction" I follow him into his huge house.

"Yeah, of course. Hey. I'm like really sorry about my sister. She doesn't understand that when someone has a girlfriend they are off limits. And with Mason's past and everything, they're close" Elijah says and I look at him confused.

"He didn't tell you about his past? Or us? Makes sense" He chuckles nervously.

"Um, yeah he didn't. I respect that. I didn't tell him a huge part of my past" I shrug, a door slams as I finish.

"Lije, are you in here? We need to get rid of L-Oh, you have company" Alexis says, stomping into the kitchen.

"Fück off Alexis. Leah is a nice girl. Go find your little friend" Elijah says, rolling his eyes.

"Where's Mason?" Alexis crosses her arms at me.

"I thought you would be telling me. I don't know where he runs off to when he gets caught fücking up. Thank you" I say, taking the coffee from Elijah.

Alexis rolls her eyes and stomps to her bedroom, slamming that door as well.

"I-" He says before I stop it. "Don't worry about it. I've had worse" I laugh, awkwardly.

"So, how did you and Mason meet?" Elijah asks as we walk to his back patio.

"Um, I accidentally bumped into him one day and I guess I was unusually nice which made me stand out. He's helped me through so much. He actually asked me out in the hospital" I say laughing, the burning hot liquid flowing down my throat.

"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" He asks and I nod, smiling.

"Yeah, I'm okay now" I say, the door behind us shooting open.

"Are you cheating on me?" Mason says, standing behind me.

"No, no. I promise. She wanted coffee so I made her some. I promise I would never do anything man" Elijah says, standing up.

Mason lands a punch on his cheek, causing me to gasp.

"Mason, outside. Now" I say, my voice harsh.

"I am so sorry Elijah" I say, stunned.

"It's okay, go talk things out" He says and I nod, storming after Mason.

"Are you fücking kidding me? The nerve of you, Mason" I say, a little too much louder than I should have.

"Am I? You were fücking around with one of my best friends. Who you just met" He says, venom filling his voice.

"You are unbelievable. Absolutely nothing happened. I just had some coffee because it calms me down and stops me from overthinking. You are over her with little miss artificial. If anything I should be mad at you. You invited me. If you wanted to fool around with 'Lex' then you shouldn't have invited me. Break up with someone before you go and mess around with someone else. Its common decency" My blood boils.

"But no, Mason White is just perfect and is alw-" I get interrupted by Masons lips on mine.

"You little prick. You can't just fix this by kissing me" I pull away, a couple tears falling down my face.

I sprint up the stairs, running up to Ellie and Brooks room. Not caring what they could be doing up there.

I quickly open the door, closing it behind me. They look at me, knowingly.

"Leah" Ellie says and thats when I break down. I slowly slide down the door, quiet tears streaming down my face.

"I can't believe he said that to me" I say, staring up at Ellie.
