•••••••••••
It's been about a week since I've gotten to Florida. New York was truly magical. It was a dream come true and one of the best experiences I've had. I've enjoyed every second in Florida with my favorite people.
The days till I go away keep creeping up and each day I get more and more nervous. I can't even imagine not having Mason by my side for months at a time. It's going to be a dämn disaster.
"What's on your mind, my love" Mason brushes his fingers through my hair, staring down at me on his bare chest.
"Oh, nothing" I blush, staring back at him. His eyes gloss over and I realize he's probably thinking the same.
I kiss his jaw before getting out of the bed to grab some clothes.
"I'm going to take a quick shower" I let him know before going into the bathroom.
Today is our last full day, we'll be heading back home tomorrow night.
I shower and complete my whole routine before walking out to the kitchen to see my cousins and boyfriend talking and laughing.
"There she is" Luke smiles, throwing a grape at me.
I laugh, picking it up and throwing it back to him.
"What are we doing today?" I smile, glancing at my phone.
"I want to go shopping, the boys want to go golfing" Grace makes a disgusted face.
"Golfing? Gross" I laugh.
"You would look great in that golf skirt" Mason whispers in my ear, my cheeks flushing.
"Gross, bro. That's my cousin" Luke winces.
Grace laughs, taking a sip from her coffee mug.
"I vote Leah and I go shopping while y'all golf and we'll meet you at a restaurant for dinner" Grace links her arm with mine, hoping for a good response.
"I like the sound of that" Luke nods. "Sounds good to me"
"So it's settled" Grace nods, heading to her room. "I'll be ready in an hour"
"I better go get ready" I laugh, kissing Masons cheek.
"Have fun" Mason calls before turning back to his conversation with Luke.
Mason has bonded with my cousins. It's great to know that they all get along and it isn't forced. Mason and Luke hit it off. Luke has a great judge of character and trusts mine as well. I've also noticed that Mason and Luke are a lot alike. They have extremely similar interests in unusual things. They both love geocaching. Luke used to drag me around the whole day to random locations this app told him to. When I started dating Mason and he brought me to one of the locations my whole childhood rushed back. Luke and Mason have spent days on end searching together.
I change into a pair of blue high waisted jean shorts and an oversized coral sweater. I match it with a white bralette and tuck the front into my shorts. My right shoulder remains exposed and I layer some necklaces before applying some hoop earrings and slipping some rings on my fingers.
I spread some lose curls through my hair and do a natural makeup look. I throw on a pair of white sandals on and toss my hair a bit.

"You look cute" Mason smiles, spinning me in a circle before bringing me to his chest. He places a light kiss on my lips. "I like this" He thumbs the material of my sweater.
"Right? I think it's so cute" I smile, rocking back and forth.
"Why are you wearing a sweater? It's so hot out" Luke laughs at me.
"It's freezing in the mall" I laugh. "Plus, if I get hot I can just take this sweater off, see" I laugh, lifting the top of my sweater up to expose the bralette.
It's one of the bralettes that can also pass as a shirt. It comes down to little before my belly button.
"Okay, let's not do that" Mason chuckles, pulling the sweater back down.
"Leah, you ready?" Grace calls out, walking down the hall.
"Yup. Bye Mas, Luke" I kiss Mason's cheek and hug Luke before following her to the car.
We talk and sing the whole ride, trying to take in the time with each other. Who knows when the next time I'll see them will be.
Soon enough we pull into a huge shopping mall.
Thank goodness we set a time to meet the guys, Grace could and would spend the whole day here.
"I love it here" Grace takes a sip of her iced coffee, grinning.
"It's a nice mall" I nod, taking in the scenery.
It's decorated nicely. The air feels clean and light, giving off an inviting vibe. There are more stores than I had expected, from the dollar store to Gucci and Louis Vuitton. For such a populated area in Florida, I expected many more people crammed into the mall.
"Let's go into Garage" Grace pulls my arm as she practically runs into the store.
The Garage is one of my favorite stores to shop at. They have everything to the flashy club and party dresses to sweatpants and t-shirts to lounge around in. The best part is, there's almost always a sale.
I grab a bunch of shirts and dresses and take them into the fitting room, deciding on a few purchases.
We walk around, buying some clothes here and there. I limit myself, being very well aware of how much money I will be spending in a short time.
Once we hit almost every store we head out and to the restaurant, we'll be meeting the guys at.
We get there around a half hour early so we sit in the car and listen to music. It's an Italian restaurant
Once it's a few minutes until our reservation time we go inside, getting our table.
The boys are a few minutes late, of course. Boys will be boys.
"Sorry, we're late. We went back to the house to change and shower. How was the mall?" Luke sits down next to me, Mason sitting on the other side.
"It's fine. It was good, a lot of fun. I'm officially broke" I laugh, feeling guilty about the amount of money I spent on myself. I never buy myself that much stuff.
"You deserve it, babe. I'll reimburse you" Mason smiles, kissing my cheek. "If I get a haul of course" He whispers, winking at me
"Oh stop it" I smile, hitting his arm.
We order some appetizers and our food. The conversation flows extremely easily and it makes me sad to think I'll be leaving all three in a matter of time.

I went from having a bunch of friends to being completely alone, back to having more friends I could wish for only to be leaving them.
Mason squeezes my thigh, sending a heartwarming smile my way. He always knows when I'm getting in my head and exactly how to distract me.
"Leah, mom, and dad are coming over tomorrow to see you off. They're so weird" Luke laughs, shaking his head.
"Oh stop, you're just jealous that I'm the favorite" I smirk, jokingly throwing my hair over my shoulder sassily.
"You are though" Grace laughs, taking a sip of her Coke.
"How can you like that?" Mason asks as I take a sip of my sweet tea.
"I love it" I laugh, holding it out for him to take a sip.
"I would rather drink Bella's piss" He shakes his head.
We all burst out laughing at his analogy. "Bro, it's really not that bad" Luke shakes his head.
"I just have the superior taste buds" Mason smiles, drinking his water.
He's started a bit of a health kick. This week he started on the drinks. He tries to limit his fluid intake to water or a single low calorie drink a day. Next week he is doing a juice cleanse. I'm thinking of completing it with him. After the juice cleanse he is doing a strict, high protein diet. It has something to do with performing better for his football season. I don't know how he could improve in any way. He's the best college football player I've ever seen. I may be a bit biased but who cares.
My phone vibrates in my lap and I look down to see a text from Mason.
'What's going on?'
I smile over at Mason, shaking my head.
"Excuse us for a minute, I'm sorry. My mom says she needs to speak to both of us" Mason apologizes, looking at his phone screen.
Once we get outside, Mason's facial expression changes. He no longer has to pretend his mother needs to get in contact with him.
"What's wrong? You keep zoning out. Did something happen while shopping?" He cocks his head to the side.
"No, nothing Mas. I promise I'm just thinking of everything right now. Like about your diet and how I want to do the juice cleanse with you next week. It's stupid stuff, and that's the complete and honest truth" I laugh, wrapping my arms around his torso.
"Okay, okay. All I can do is trust that you're telling me the truth" He squints his eyes at me. "I'll order two cases of the juices. It's only a day thing"
"Okay, that's perfect. I'm not sure I could handle a whole week" I laugh, running my hand through my hair.
"No one could. You can't survive off that, baby" He smiles, rubbing my arm.
"I wish we could stay here forever. I love how great you get along with my cousins" I look up at the changing sky.
"So do I, babe. So do I" He kisses my forehead. "I love your cousins. Luke and I have so much in common"
I give a happy sigh, nodding towards him. "You do, I knew you would. Luke's been the best big brother-cousin a girl could ask for"
"He's done a good job" I smile towards him. "Come on, let's get back into the restaurant.
"Oh, good" Grace smiles when we sit back down.
"What?" I ask, looking at Luke. He just shrugs.
"I just looked into times, and we're going to a drive-in later. The last night together has to be fun. They're placing Toy Story at 8:00 and then after that is The Conjuring" Grace beams, her face about to split in half.
"That sounds fun. I would love that" I nod, looking over to Mason.
"I'm down" "I Second that" Mason and Luke answer at the same time.
"No, you take the egg, crack it onto the skillet and let it cook. Don't move it at all. So then when you're eating it you can break it. It's even better on a sandwich" Luke explains, causing me to wince.
I don't like runny eggs at all. Mine needs to be as dry as the Sahara desert.
"I prefer my eggs scrambled" Mason smiles, the corner of his eyes crinkling as he locks eye contact with me.
He winks at me, his eyes twinkling.
My heart immediately pools up in my stomach and I can feel my heart rate increase. Mason smirks, knowing his effect.
Our waitress brings us the check and we quickly split it before heading back to the house to get snacks ready for the movie.
Once back at the house we pack some cold drinks, beer for the guys, and a few White Claws for Grace. I stick a bottle of water in the cooler for myself and some grapes for if I get hungry. Our other bag is filled to the brim with al different types of snacks. Everything from Ketchup chips to fruit roll-ups.
We climb into Luke's truck and head to the theatre.
We pay to get in with a half-hour to spare. Enough time to set the pillows and blankets into the bed of the truck and get some cute photos.
Grace and I work on setting the scene and placing the snacks and cooler bag in the corner. We put a few chairs on the grass in front as well.
"Picture time" Grace smiles, pulling me into a hug and smiling for the camera. I can't contain my happiness as Mason takes the picture before getting dragged by Grace to take one with me.
He laughs before throwing his arm around me as I cuddle into his side, plastering a smile on my face.
