p.s sorry for mistakes and shortness and all that.
I was brought back to the consciousness by feeling slight tickling of someone's fingertips on my bare shoulders. With sleep still clouding my mind I automatically tried to shake off the tickler with a lazy shrug of my shoulder while burrowing my face even deeper into the pillow. The only answer I received after my unsuccessful endeavour was a deep chuckle from person laying next to me.
Kol's voice while still heavy with the sleep carried a happy note making me smile into my pillow and feel quite accomplished at making him sound so content.
Slowly, being mindful of the early sun peeking through the blinds, I opened my eyes and lazily blinked until my vision turned clear and free of fogginess. When my eyes met his and I mock glared at the man who was still stroking his finger across my back creating intricate patterns on my skin and making my body tingle with pleasure. After meeting my glare with his mischievously glinting eyes, Kol's smile broadened even more than I thought was possible and the unmatched happiness was clear on his face.
I didn't even realize that my smile was mirroring his.
"Good morning," I murmured softly without wanting to destroy the fragile calmness and happiness surrounding us. I slightly twisted my body to lay more comfortably and was reminded of the night we shared by pleasurable soreness in my lower body. The slight flush surged through me at the vivid memories at how earnestly Kol practically worshipped my body.
I was too preoccupied with memories to feel one of the vampire's hands creeping up my shoulder to cup my face until Kol leaned closer and claimed my lips into the soft kiss with his thumb tenderly caressing the fullness of my cheek. I sighed blissfully into the kiss and even then I have felt his smile. After a few breathless moments, he ended the kiss and gently pressed his forehead to rest against mine.

"Good morning, my angel" he murmured and leaned even closer to brush his lips against mine again and again and again until he started peppering my whole face with kisses and turning me into a giggly mess by the end.
But my giggles soon turned into gasps when his kisses trailed down my throat while shadowing the bruises from yesterday's night. My eyes involuntary closed when he sucked the spot on my throat and sending a pulse of pleasure down my body. Kol's right hand mirrored his lips in their way down my body.
His fingers almost reverently stroked my side leaving goosebumps in its wake.
The soft moan slipped from my mouth when his hand moved from my side to the soft flesh of my breast. Kol skillfully manoeuvred himself between my legs so he was half laying on top of me. The heavy, warm weight of his body was comforting and I lifted one of my legs to wrap around his torso to pull him even closer while my hands were absentmindedly combing through his hair, marvelling at the softness of it.
Kol just lazily nuzzled his face deeper into my neck and placed a soft kiss to the sensitive skin there. My heart fluttered at the gentleness of that gesture, at how intimate it felt. The intimacy of feeling his warm skin pressed against mine or to feel his slow breathing tickling my neck was unparalleled. It was something I didn't think I needed or wanted until now.
I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I almost missed when Kol addressed me. The soft way my name rolled down from his lips was enough for my heart to skip a beat. The way he pronounced every syllable... well it was something I wanted to hear every day.

Not trusting my voice I just hummed questioningly and kept combing my hands through his hair and twirling strands around my fingers,
"I can not remember the last time I felt this content," it was a simple sentence, but gods... It was so right. And I was surprised at how much I could agree with that sentence.
Despite my wishes I couldn't help but feel the familiar sting of the tears collecting in the corners of my eyes and not wanting to set them free I blinked a couple of times willing them disappear.
"Angel, it was never my intention to make you cry," the almost vulnerable tone of his voice was enough to make me look down at him and was again left speechless by the how honest and open he looked.
The affection from his usually mischievously glinting brown eyes was just flowing. But behind that, I could see small specks of insecurity shining through. And all I wanted was just to make it go away.
"Oh, Kol," I sighed softly and tried to find the right words. I was never that person who knew what to say but I always tried to speak through my actions.
I leaned down to press my lips against his and I tried to pour everything I felt into that kiss. That peace, affection, calmness, happiness, excitement, satisfaction.
Everything.
"Oh my dear Kol, " I whispered against his lips and leaned to kiss him again "You have no idea how happy that makes me."
