《BREATHE》*one*

A ten year old girl crawled out of her bed in her room. She can feel that something is wrong, it's dead quiet and no sound can be heard. She could not hear the sound of old school rap radiating from her parents room. Something was wrong. She could not hear the musical sound of her mother's laugh. Something was wrong.
She tiptoed into her parents room. Something was wrong. The sheets in her parents room were messed up. Her neat freak mom will never leave a mess like that. The little girl looked at her feet as she gently walked down the steps barely making a sound. She counted her steps as she walked one..two...three...four... measuring the distance as she always did while walking. See the young girl had OCD, obsessive compulsive disorder, luckily for her it was mild and did not affect her daily life. She reached the bottom of the stairway and her heart stopped in fear.
She can see her parents tied up in chairs. Five men all dressed in black and covering their faces were surrounding them. In each of their glove covered hands were guns. At the time she did not know what was going on. All she knew was that her dad was her hero, her best friend. What she did not know was that her dad was one of the biggest kingpins in the DMV. The men surrounding him were his workers. His trusted workers, people who he considered family. People who he had around his family everyday. He loved them all wholeheartedly, if only he knew they would eventually betray him.
For nothing but money and wealth. Even though money can bring happiness it is also the beginning of evil. It can make people do crazy things. Like betraying their friends. The young girl's father looked up to see his daughter hiding by the stairs. His heart stopped. His daughter was his everything, he loved her with all of his heart. He tapped his wife and made a small gesture towards the small girl. The beautiful women that the young girl called Mommy's heart also dropped. Her little princess, her little baby. With his eyes the man tried to gesture towards his daughter telling her to hide and stay out of view . Unfortunately, one of the men caught on. He pointed the gun towards the young girl, "Come out". The little girl shaken in fear slowly made her way out of the spot she was hiding in. Her father for the sixth time in his life shed tears. Other times were when he married his gorgeous wife, seeing his first and last child being born, seeing his daughter take her first steps, renewing his vows and hearing his daughter call him dada for the first time.

He knew that he was not coming out of this situation alive, but he hoped and prayed his daughter did. "Please spare my daughter", he begged the men. The apparent leader of the men walked towards him and leaned down to his level, "Ohh were going to spare her, but not before having a little fun with her", with a smirk he took off his mask revealing who he was. The young girl's father was in shock. The man wearing the mask was his best friend, "Jay ho-w-w why are you doing this", he stuttered.
The man in black turned around and kicked the girl's father, "Money". With that he took the gun off safety and pointed in towards the man's wife. The woman closed her eyes in fear before turning to her husband saying, "I'm pregnant". Her husband squeezed her hand telling her that he loved her. The men in black lowered the gun from the lady's head instead pointing it towards her stomach. With an evil smirk he fired six shots into her belly.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
The young girl looked on in fear as she watched her mother being murdered. Those sounds will forever be embedded in her mind. The man fired one more shot into the women's head. She looked up, made eye contact with her daughter and mouthed I love you. This will be the last thing the young girl will hear her mother say. The woman laid her head back as her soul left her body.
Sobs came out of the man's body. He had just watched the love of his life and future child be murdered. The men in black let out sharp laughs as he watched his so called best friend mourn. The man walked around his best friend, daunting him, "The so called king can't save his wife. Lets see if he can save his daughter". The little girls father cried out, "NO don't touch her, don't kill her. Kill me but don't touch her".

His best friend smirked at him, "I was going to kill you anyway". With a bright smile on his face he fired several shots into his head. More sounds that will forever be embedded in her mind. With a rush of emotion, the young girl was able to escape from the two men holding her. She leaned over her father's body bawling as she hugged his bloody body. "No daddy don't leave me she cried". He opened his eyes seeing the most important person in his life, "I love you Indigo", he croaked as he finally passed away.
The young girls wails filled the air like sirens on the way to an emergency. Her life will be changed forever, those images will never leave her mind. In less than fifteen minutes she became an orphan. The men in black watched her cry with a smile on their faces. After a few minutes their leader snatched her back, pulling her and surrounding her with the five other men. He looked down at her, the smile never leaving his face, "We're gonna have a little fun with you". He licked his lips before taking out his knife, using it to tear her shirt."
For the next three hours those six men ran a train on her, and damaged her in so many ways. That night Indigo lost her innocence physically, mentally, and spiritually. The men finished off before peeing on her. They man their way out but not without shooting the little girl three times. Seeing the men exit the room she dragged herself towards her parents. She cuddled into their bodies, as the pain went through her body. She was ready to die as long as she was with her parents, but God had other plans.
Indigo did not die that day. She survived. Her parents' last wish, for their little princess to survive.

Bone Dungeon: Book 1 in the Elemental Dungeon Series
Ryan doesn't remember much about his life before becoming a dungeon core. Only that he had a bit of a disagreement with the church -- something to do with a beheading? Now reborn, Ryan begins to arm his darkness dungeon with devious traps, bestial zombies and ill-named skeletal creations, without doing anything too evil. Well, mostly. Some adventurers just deserve a stalactite to the head. But Ryan quickly learns being a darkness dungeon isn't all loot and bone puns. With a necromancer on the rise and the Adventurer's Guild watching his every move, he must prove that not all darkness dungeons are malevolent... even if they do have a few skeletons in their caverns. Sadly, all of these issues keep distracting him from his own guilty pleasure, skeletal fight club. But don't tell his fairy about that. **** I have recieved permission from the publisher to share the first 8 chatpers of the story, as a sample (I am the author of this book) **** If you like what you've read, feel free to hop over to Amazon and check out the full story!
