"Lady Lily, where are you going at this hour?" One of the maids that worked in her house asked.
"I'm going to go get some fresh air. I won't be out long." She replies before wearing her shoes and leaving the house.
It was the late evening when Lily had decided that she wanted to walk around the neighbourhood. Well, her true intentions was that she wanted to head over to the deserted beach that no one ever goes to that was close to her neighbourhood.
Pulling the edges of her sleeves forward as she covers her hands with them to protect her hands from freezing in this cold weather. She was wearing an oversized comfy sweater, but somehow was still shivering from the cold windy breeze.
"Should've worn another layer."
...
Once arriving at the beach, Lily made her way closer to shore. Getting close to the water as she watches as the waves rise forward. The water waving as it greeted her.
She sat down in the sand, listening to the sound of the ocean in serenity. Something about being alone in the beach was so calming and harmonious. She felt at peace.
Her tranquility being disturbed when hearing someone call her name out. She wasn't alone anymore.
"Fancy seeing you here." Renjun's voice getting Lily out of her daydream as she was back to reality.
"Oh it's you." Lily mumbles.
"Why am I seeing you every where, are you perhaps stalking me?" She asked him. Weirded out by the fact that in every situation, they would somehow end up meeting each other.
He looks at her in disgust.
"I have better things to do then stalk you oh sweet Lily's." He replies and sat down on the sand. A few distance away from her. She could only give him a look of suspicion, not seeming to believe him.

"If you're not going to believe me then I'll show you proof. I was out to run some errands for my annoying siblings, then I wanted to come here to relax for a bit before going back home and by some coincidence we met again." He spoke. As if he had read Lily's expression. The lad threw the tote bag that he was wearing over to her to show her the evidence. And there she could see his tote bag being filled with random snacks as well as a few crafting supplies and the receipt for everything.
"Your statement is cleared." Lily then handing back the tote bag over to him.
"Why are you here, by yourself if you don't mind me asking?... Of course it's not like I really care by the fact that you're alone, I'm just curious." He asked whilst rambling over his own words.
"Just to clear my mind and get some fresh air." She replied simply. Her answer straight forward and to the point. He only nodded his head in understansing.
The two of them then stayed in silence as they watched the sunset together. How beautiful the scenery was.
"You say Renjun."
The brought up of his name making him look over at her.
"It's getting a bit cold, do you perhaps want to get a warm drink and have a chat about the current art work." Lily offers him. He side eyes her.
"You being nice to me is a bit suspicious. It's like you're going to secretly lure me to an abandoned place and plot a murder against me." He says as the girl scoffs.
"You're the one that's overthinking this. What'd you say? My treat." She asks before standing up and dusting the sand off of her pants.
"If you're paying then who am I to say no? I still don't trust you though." Said Renjun as he stood up.

"Whatever that doesn't matter, could you be a bit quicker? I'm so close to pushing you into the water." The girl groans as she had her hand against his back, threatening to push him in.
"YA!YA!YA! DON'T YOU DARE!" He exclaims whilst pulling on her arms.
"If I'm going down, then you're going down as well." He said angrily. Lily only snickering at him.
--- ⛅
"One hot chocolate and a cup of black tea coming right up."
"Thank you so much." Lily pays the cashier as she went over to the table where Renjun was patiently waiting at.
"Hey Shortie."
Renjun quickly shooting her a glare. The disrespect 💀💀
"I feel disrespected right now. I am NOT short excuse you." He said offended as Lily could only chuckle.
"Could I get your phone number." She randomly asks.
"Why all of a sudden. Don't tell me that you're starting to take an interest in me." He asks suspiciously.
"Um so we could communicate more easily??? And besides, what's wrong with me taking an interest in you." She questions as he looks away to hide his flustered state.
Lily then pulled her phone out as she waits for him to put in his number.
"You ask the most dumbest questions frog." The lad stated as he inserted his phone number.
"What's with the nickname frog? It doesn't even make any sense."
"Because your name; Lily. Reminds me of a Lily pad, and where do Lily pads usually found? In a pond. And what lives in a pond? Frogs." He explains as she eyes him weirdly.
"Here's your phone. When you text me, just inform me that it's you or else I'll end up deleting your message." He hands her phone back as she nodded her head.
"An order for Xu Lily! "
"Oh our drinks are done. We should start heading out before it gets dark." She says before standing up. Renjun following her move.
---☆
"Thanks for accompanying me today. Kind of unexpected but i enjoyed it to say the least." Lily thanks him as the two were walking along side each other.
"Hmm." His usual habit of just humming in reply. Renjun taking a sip of his tea as he just listens to whatever the girl besides him was saying.
"Sorry that you have to go home late. Your siblings have probably been waiting for you." She says. Renjun remembering about his younger siblings as his eyes widens in realisation.
"I'll head home now, my father is probably waiting for me back home." Lily about to walk off when he caught up to her.
"Wait, I'll walk you home."
"Why so nice all of a sudden? And what about your siblings?" She asked while sipping on her hot chocolate.
"My siblings could wait, and so you could get home safely and not get killed. It's not good for a girl to be walking alone at night. Dont think that I'm doing this to be nice." He said and scoffed.
She punched his shoulders lightly.
"Ok whatever loser. Whatever you say Renjun, whatever you say." She said as a small smile crept its way on her face.
...
here are what Lily and Renjun's conversations looks like lol:
